SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for sorption purification of water from petroleum products and can be used in environmental protection. The method of purifying waste water from petroleum products involves mechanical purification and post-purification by filtering through a layer of fixed sorbent. The sorbent used is carbonate sludge from clarification tanks of thermal power plants dried to 3-20% moisture content, having the chemical composition CaCO3+MgO+Mg(OH)2+SiO2+Fe(OH)3+Al(OH)3. The sludge is formed from combined coagulation a heptahydrate of iron sulphate and lime treatment of natural water with a saturated solution of lime milk at the water treatment plants of thermal power plants.

EFFECT: invention reduces residual concentration of petroleum products in the filtrate to 0,01 mg/dm3.

The invention relates to methods of sorption purification of waste water from oil and can be used in environmental protection, in particular in waste water of thermal power plants (TPP).

As sorbents for the purification of waste water from oil is known to use a variety of materials, natural and artificial origin: quartz sand, clay, expanded clay, peat, sawdust, calcined alumina, activated carbon, polystyrene, chemical fiber and other Highest sorption capacity have activated carbons (Masons F.A., pious E.I. The closest to the technical nature of the claimed method is a method of purification of waste water from petroleum products by the patent RF №2010008, IPC C02F 1/28, 30.03.1994, including mechanical cleaning and purification by filtration through a layer of stationary sorbent, the sorbent using crushed natural Apatite.

The objective of the invention is to improve the efficiency of waste water purification from oil products to achieve the maximum allowable concentration of oil in the discharge of purified water in fish ponds and cheaper way to clean.

The technical result is achieved in that in the method of purification of waste water from petroleum products, including mechanical cleaning and purification by filtration through a layer of stationary sorbent according to the invention, as the use of carbonate sorbent slurry with what lagnasco 3,0-20,0% clarifiers thermal power stations, chemical composition CaCO 3+MgO+Mg(OH)2+SiO2+Fe(OH)3+Al(OH)3formed at the joint of coagulation semisodium the ferric sulfate and lime saturated solution of lime milk natural water treatment installation.

Figure 1 presents the dependence of the sorption capacity of the carbonate sludge clarifiers TPP from time to time.

Figure 2 presents the dependence of the residual oil concentrations in the filtrate from the height of the layer of carbonate sludge clarifiers TPP.

An example of a specific implementation.

Carbonate sludge clarifiers thermal power stations is formed at the stage of pre-treatment of water at the joint coagulation semisodium the ferric sulfate and lime saturated solution of lime milk natural water treatment installation.

Sorption properties of carbonate sludge clarifiers TPP explained by the presence of selenopyran functional groups of humic substances in natural water. Analysis of a sample of carbonate sludge clarifiers TPP by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy revealed the presence of functional groups of humic substances: -OH, -NH, -CH3, -CH2, aromatic C=C - bonds, C-O - carboxyl groups and HE - alcohol groups.

The results of the study of the sorption properties of carbonate sludge clarifiers TPP with respect to the pure oil, the most common in wastewater TPP showed (see figure 1)that the sorption capacity of the carbonate sludge is implemented during the first minutes of contact with waste water and after 25 minutes, reaches 0.5-0.7 g/g turbine oil, diesel fuel and gasoline, 1.4 g/g in the oil that is 56-78% and 150%, respectively.

The method of purification of waste water from oil is as follows.

The purification of waste water is subjected to the mazut TPP after preliminary mechanical cleaning, which contained various organic impurities, in particular oil, in the amount of 0.27 mg/DM3. According to performance is undertaken in figure 2 the results of the proposed method of sewage purification from oil products provides a reduction in residual oil concentrations in the filtrate to 0.01 mg/DM 3.

Thus, using the proposed method provides the possibility of recycling of carbonate sludge clarifiers thermal power stations, chemical composition CaCO3+MgO+Mg(OH)2+SiO2+Fe(OH)3+Al(OH)3produced in large quantity at a joint coagulation semisodium the ferric sulfate and lime saturated solution of lime milk natural water treatment installation and is waste of thermal power plants, using it as a sorbent (after dehydration in the shop thermococci to a moisture content of 3.0 to 20.0% and up to diameter of grinding grains 0,09-1.4 mm), when the purification of waste water from oil products by means of filtration through a layer of stationary sorbent. This increases the efficiency and reduced the price process wastewater from petroleum products to achieve the maximum allowable concentration of oil in the discharge of purified water in fish ponds.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in industry when treating waste or natural water from arsenic. The method involves use of a composite sorbent which contains as the sorbing component iron hydroxide particles which are immobilised on organic fibres, bringing the sorbent into contact with water to form insoluble arsenic compounds and separating the treated water from solid treatment products. In the sorbent, iron hydroxide particles are immobilised by cellulose fibres during chemical deposition thereof in an aqueous dispersion of said fibres. Waste water is brought into contact with the sorbent by mixing to form a suspension of solid treatment products containing arsenic. The cellulose fibres contain, wt %: at least 94% fibres with length of not more than 1.23 mm and at least 54% fibres with length of not more than 0.63 mm. The sorbent has the following composition, pts.wt: cellulose fibres -100, iron hydroxide - 20-500. Water treatment is carried out at sorbent concentration of 40-300 mg/dm3. Separation of the treated water from solid treatment products is carried out by pressure flotation, wherein the flotation sludge or a portion thereof is fed into the water treatment process.

EFFECT: method increases efficiency of the water treatment process, simplifies the treatment technology, increases the degree of purification of water with different contamination levels at high volume rate of treatment.

Coagulant is actively mixed in a stream of water, a flocculant is then added and mixed. Further, the stream of water is fed into the coagulation chamber of a settling tank. The invention can be used in different fields of medicine, veterinary and in everyday life. This is achieved owing to that the water ionisation apparatus, having a pulse generator, a timer, a power amplifier and a display unit, according to the invention is further fitted with a dc milliammeter and a variable resistor R18. The milliammeter is included in the display unit and is connected between light-emitting diodes and a first electrode, and the variable resistor R18 is included in the power amplifier and is connected between a resistor R17 and a second electrode. The dc milliammeter also has a 10 mA scale with the zero mark in the middle of the scale and in order to expand the current adjustment range, the resistor R17 is reduced to 100 Ohm.

The invention also refers to compositions of sorbents used for the method's realisation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing sorbent for trapping volatile types of radioactive iodine at nuclear power stations in operating and emergency conditions. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial ecology. The sorbent is obtained from epichlorohydrin production wastes. The wastes are fed for polycondensation with sodium polysulphide Na2Sn(n=3-4) in the presence of petcoke particles with diameter of 0.15 mm or less. Sodium polysulphide is obtained by reacting elementary sulphur and sodium hydroxide in aqueous hydrazine hydrate solution. Polycondesation results in formation of spherical black-coloured granules with size of 1-5 mm. The sorbent has zinc ion sorption activity of up to 71 mg/g.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to respiratory protective equipment for protecting a person from chemical substances. The adsorbent for a compound filter contains activated carbon, lithium chloride, calcium chloride, calcium oxychloride, as well as chlorides, carbonates, oxides and hydroxides of potassium and/or sodium. Said ingredients are deposited on activated carbon obtained from nut shells and/or fruit seeds. The ingredients are in the following ratio (wt %): potassium chlorides and oxychlorides with respect to potassium chloride 8-11; lithium chloride 9-12; chlorides, carbonates, oxides and hydroxides of potassium and/or sodium with respect to metal 0.6-3.1; activated carbon from nut shells and/or fruit seeds - the balance. The housing of the compound filter is further equipped with an anti-dust plug and a connecting element in form of a neck or a top swage. Also disclosed are gas and smoke protective sets fitted with a compound filter having a layer of adsorbent of the composition given above and a layer of hopcalite.

EFFECT: invention provides effective complex protection of respiratory organs from carbon monoxide, ammonia, organic substances and dust.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of compounds based on poorly soluble polyvalent metal salts of polybasic acids, in particular titanium phosphate, which can be used as sorbents for various cations from aqueous solutions. Synthesis of titanium phosphate-based sorbent is accomplished by interaction of phosphate solution with titanium-containing solution preheated to 70-100°C at P/Ti ratio (1.0-2.6):1. Resulting hydrogel is separated from mother liquor, washed with water, and subjected to heat treatment for 20-36 h at 35 to 100°C, after which dried at higher temperature (100-120°C).
