Preparation for oral cavity care and methods of its application and manufacturing

FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to compositions for oral cavity care and to methods of their application. Claimed are compositions for oral cavity care, which contain effective amounts of arginine in free or salt form, anionic surface active substance, halogenated diphenyl ether, anionic polymer, and precipitated calcium carbonate, which has d50 from approximately 0.5 to approximately 3 micrometres.

EFFECT: compositions are efficient, in particular, for reduction of bacteria adherence to tooth surface in subject's oral cavity, in addition, chemical composition provides favourable effect in activation of remineralisation, elimination of pre-caries damage and strengthening healthy state of oral cavity along with intensification of taste properties of formulation of preparation for oral cavity care and increase of general acceptability pf product for consumers.

1. Composition for caring for the oral cavity that contains:
an effective amount of arginine in free or salt form;
anionic surfactant;
an effective amount of a simple halogenated diphenyl ether;
an effective amount of anionic polymer, and
precipitated calcium carbonate having a d50 from about 0.5 to about 3 microns.

2. The composition according to claim 1, in which arginine is in salt form and selected from argininepatch, arginosuccinate and engineeringrelated.

3. The composition according to item 1, in which the anionic surfactant is selected from sodium lauryl and sodium Laureth sulphate and mixtures thereof.

4. The composition according to claim 1, in which the anionic surfactant is present in an amount of from about 0.01 to about 10 wt.%.

5. To the position according to claim 1, in which the anionic surfactant is present in an amount of from about 0.3 to about 4.5 wt.%.

6. The composition according to claim 1, containing a source of fluoride selected from sodium fluoride and monophosphate sodium.

7. The composition according to claim 1, in which a simple halogenated diphenyl ether is triclosan.

8. The composition according to claim 1, in which the anionic polymer is a copolymer simple metilfenidato ether and maleic anhydride.

9. The composition according to claim 1, which is a toothpaste containing;
an effective amount of the salt of arginine selected from arginosuccinate, argininepatch and engineeringrelated;
an effective amount of triclosan;
anionic surfactant selected from sodium lauryl and sodium Laureth sulphate,
the copolymer simple metilfenidato ether and maleic anhydride,
precipitated calcium carbonate having a d50 from about 0.5 to about 3 microns, and
additionally, an effective amount of a soluble fluoride salt selected from sodium fluoride and monophosphate sodium.

10. The composition according to claim 1, additionally containing xylitol.

11. The composition according to claim 1, in which the radioactive dentin abrasion (REED) (RDA) is less than about 150.

12. The composition according to claim 1 in the form of toothpaste, optionally containing one or more washes is in, selected from water, abrasives, surfactants, foaming agents, vitamins, polymers, enzymes, moisturizers, thickeners, antimicrobial agents, preservatives, fragrances, dyes, and/or combinations thereof.

13. The use of a composition according to any one of claims 1 to 12 for the manufacture of a product for caring for the oral cavity for:
a. reduce or inhibit formation of dental caries,
b. reduction, regeneration or suppress the initial damage tooth enamel
c. reduce or inhibit the demineralization and activation of remineralization of the teeth,
d. reduce hypersensitivity of the teeth,
e. reduction or suppression of gingivitis,
f. promote healing of sores or cuts in the mouth,
g. lower levels kislotoproduktsiya bacteria,
h. the rise in the relative levels alginolyticus bacteria,
i. suppress the attachment of the bacteria or the formation of microbial biofilms in the oral cavity,
j. improve and/or maintain the pH of dental plaque in the levels of values, at least 5,5 after eating sugar,
K. reducing the accumulation of plaque and/or
q. cleaning the teeth and mouth.

14. Use 13 for suppressing attachment of the bacteria or the formation of microbial biofilms.

15. Composition for the care of mouth cavity containing arginine in free or salt form anionic surfactant, an effective amount of a simple halogenated diphenyl ether, an effective amount of anionic polymer and precipitated calcium carbonate having a d50 from about 0.5 to about 3 microns, designed to reduce the adhesion of bacteria to the tooth surface in the oral cavity of the subject.

16. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to 15, in which the arginine is present in an amount of from 0.1 to 20 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

17. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to item 15 or 16, in which the arginine is present in an amount of from 1 to 10 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

18. Composition for oral care mouth indicated in paragraph 15 contains a simple halogenated diphenyl ether in an amount of from 0.01 to 5 wt.% calculated on the total weight of the composition.

19. The composition according to p in which a simple halogenated diphenyl ether is present in an amount of from 0.01 to 1 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

20. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to 15, in which a simple halogenated diphenyl ether is triclosan.

21. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to 15, further containing a soluble fluoride salt in an amount of from 0.01 to 2 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

22. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to 15, further containing a source of fluoride ions in an amount to provide from 50 to 25000 million-1otnositelno mass of fluoride ions in the total mass of the composition.

23. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to item 21 or 22, in which a soluble fluoride salt or a source of fluoride ions selected from sodium fluoride, monophosphate sodium and mixtures thereof.

24. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to 15, in which the anionic surfactant is present in an amount of from 0.01 to 10 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

25. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to paragraph 24, in which the anionic surfactant is present in amounts of from 0.3 to 4.5 wt.% in the calculation of the total mass of the composition.

26. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to paragraph 24 or 25, in which the anionic surfactant is selected from sodium lauryl, sodium Laureth sulphate and mixtures thereof.

27. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to 15 containing precipitated calcium carbonate, at least about 5 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

28. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to item 27, in which the content of the precipitated calcium carbonate is at least about 20 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

29. Composition for caring for the oral cavity according to item 27, in which the content of the precipitated calcium carbonate is from 15 to 70 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

30. The use of a composition for caring for the oral cavity defined according to any one of claims 1 to 12 and 15 to 29, for the manufacture of a product to wow the Yes of the oral cavity, to reduce adhesion of bacteria to the tooth surface in the oral cavity of the subject.

31. The application of article 30, in which the arginine is present in an amount of from 0.1 to 20 wt.% of the total weight of the composition.

Claimed compositions for oral cavity care contain abrasive agent based on amorphous quartz. Abrasive based on amorphous quartz has, in particular, average size of particles from 3 microns to 15 microns, with 90% of particles, having particle size, constituting 50 microns or less. Also claimed is method of cleaning teeth and oral cavity of subject, which includes application of composition for oral cavity care, containing abrasive agent, based on amorphous quartz in acceptable for oral cavity carrier. As amorphous (fused) quartz is harder than silica, which are typically used in compositions for oral cavity care, amorphous quartz can be used in smaller amount to provide cleaning effect, comparable with large amounts of other types of silica. Composition can contain additional abrasive substance.

EFFECT: application of amorphous quartz in composition for oral cavity care ensures obtaining comparable or improved cleaning effect without increased abradability of dentin in comparison with compositions, containing other types of silica.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and is intended for treatment of pulpitis, apical and marginal dental periodontitis. Drug processing of root canal is carried out. Canal is dried. After that, root canal of tooth is filled with liquid No 1 - solution of subacid magnesium fluoric silicate from composition of "Dentin-hermetising liquid". Active needle electrode of device for carrying out electro- or depot phoresis is introduced into canal and transcanal electrophoretic introduction of ions, contained in liquid, into dentin tubes of tooth root is performed. Amount of electricity, passing through tissues of tooth root tissues, constitutes from 1 to 5 mA X min, with current value from 0.1 to 1 mA. After that root canal is dried with air and electrophoresis of liquid No 2 - alkaline suspension of highly-dispersive calcium hydroxide from composition "Dentin-hermetising liquid" is carried out at the same parameters as the first liquid. Root canal is dried with air and filled by traditional method.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce number of complications and increase efficiency of treatment of pulpitis, apical and marginal periodontitis due to deep transcanal electrophoretic fluoridation of tooth root dentin.

What is presented is a compound for preparing an oral rinse for treating radio-induced xerostomia in the following proportions of the ingredients in water 200 ml: ethyl cellulose 0.5 - 0.9 g, calcium hydrophosphate 0.1 - 0.3 g, potassium hydrophosphate as a buffer system 0.4 - 0.6 g, succinic acid 0.10 - 0.14 g.

EFFECT: invention provides the improved clinical effectiveness in radio-induced xerostomia ensured by the recovered physical-chemical properties of saliva and normalised processes of solid tissue mineralisation.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely surgical dentistry and physiotherapy, and may be used in dental implantology for preventing postoperative infectious-inflammatory complications following bone tissue surgeries. For this purpose, the surgical intervention is followed by blood sampling from an incisional wound to be treated with ozonised gas of the ozone concentration of 202 mg/l. Then blood is mixed with a bone autograft and treated with ozonised gas of the ozone concentration of 202 mg/l. The prepared autograft is introduced into an implantation and sinus lifting site. From the second postoperative day, the incisional field is exposed to extremely high frequency for 3-6 days for 10-20 minutes. For 5-7 days, the incisional field is treated with ozonised distillate of the ozone concentration of 1-2 mg/l.

EFFECT: method enables effective prevention of postoperative infectious-inflammatory complications by improving osteogenesis and accelerating implant integration ensured by the ozone treatment in specific regimen and environment.

The presented oral care composition contains an effective amount of arginine bicarbonate and a fine particle fraction containing at least 5 % of the formulation weight. The presented composition for oral care contains a) an effective amount of basic amino acid salt with salt having pH in a non-buffered solution from approximately 6.0 to approximately 7.5; b) an effective amount of a soluble fluorine ion source and c) a substance in the form of particles which has pH in the non-buffered solution from approximately 6.0 to approximately 7.5 with basic amino acid salt is inorganic oxoacid and basic amino acid salt; and the substance in the form of particles represent inorganic oxoacid and calcium salt. In the preferential version, the composition contains arginine phosphate, dicalcium phosphate dehydrate and sodium monofluorophosphate particles.

EFFECT: applying such composition on the oral surface ensures reducing or inhibiting dental demineralisation and intensifying dental remineralisation, increasing a relative level of arginolythic bacteria, reducing bacterial attachment to dental surface and other favourable effects providing better oral health.
