Method of cultivation of hindu lotus in containers

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. In the method the seeds or root stalks of Hindu lotus are planted in containers at least ј filled with soil consisting of manure or well-digested plant mulch, peat-moss, sand and clay in equal proportions. After planting the plants are poured with shallow and transparent water, which level after the appearance of standing leaves is increased to 50 cm. After the appearance of new leaves from March to October in 3-4 steps the 3% water soluble magnesium oxide is applied in an amount of 5 g/l, in blooming period every 7-10 days the fast-acting phosphate fertilisers are applied. During the stage of ripening and growth of root stalks every 20 days N20P10K20 is applied at the rate of 120-150 grams per 500 litre container, the temperature regime is provided not lower than 20°C at planting seed material - seeds, root stalks, not lower than 25°C in vegetation and flowering, and not lower than 15°C in the last month before the root stalks harvesting. To reduce the disease incidence of red spider and to prevent deformation of young leaves spraying with water is carried out several times a day.

EFFECT: method enables to increase productivity and to provide quality control of the obtained product.

The invention relates to the field of agriculture and solves the problem of development of new crops, intensification of agricultural production, control the quality of the product.

There is a method of cultivation of Lotus orehonosny in terms of the Volga Delta (patent No. 2376748 from 27.12.2009). The disadvantages of object are similar to the traditional approach to the cultivation of agricultural crops, limited by the availability of suitable ponds for cultivation of Lotus, as well as the inability to sufficiently control the growth process, the result may be a loss of product quality and reduced profitability.

The closest adopted for the prototype, is the method of cultivation of Lotus orehonosny in natural and artificial water bodies (patent No. 2419281 from 27.05.2011). The disadvantage of this method is that its implementation does not take into account growing conditions, which creates a high risk of death of plants.

The technical task to be solved by the invention, is to increase the yield and profitability of the process of cultivation of Lotus orehonosny, as well as quality control of the obtained product.

The resulting problem is solved by the method of cultivation of Lotus orehonosny, which takes into account the owner is of the yield of various factors, genotype, water depth, light, temperature, soil, method of planting and fertilizer that allows you to learn a new crop, to intensify agricultural production, control the quality of the product. As a result of use of the invention increases the stability of obtaining high yields of Lotus orehonosny, increased commodity output per plant.

We propose the following method of cultivation of Lotus orehonosny.

Seeds or rhizomes are planted in pots, containers, containers made of clay, concrete, plastic, not less than1/4filled with soils with light texture that prevents the penetration of excess light, with a good content of organic substances, and consists of manure or well-rotted through vegetative mulch, moss, peat moss, sand and clay in equal proportions. After planting, the plants fill in with water, and to provide exposure to the sun on the water and soil and promote plant growth water must be small and transparent that must be provided for removing weeds aquatic plants and algae. When floating leaves, the water level can be gradually increased up to 40-50 cm for ease of maintenance. After the appearance of standing leaves should also be ensured under arrivati sufficient (not less than 50 cm) depth of water for optimal growth. To stimulate plant growth in the soil making fertilizers (further in the text). Apply fertilizer after the appearance of new leaves in the spring. It is recommended to divide the fertilizer doses for 3-4 making. It is recommended that the introduction of a 3% water-soluble magnesium oxide, for 8-9 months in an amount of 5 g/L. Adult plants that formed the roots for the development require more potassium and less nitrogen. In the flowering season, add high-speed phosphate fertilizer every 7-10 days, to promote the growth and development of flowers. Phosphate and potash fertilizers needed later to facilitate the maturation and growth of rhizomes. 120-150 grams 20-10-20 (NPK) every 20 days is sufficient for normal growth in 500-l container. Eight grams of fertilizer further increased the weight of roots, number of shoots, and expanded internode.

Temperature is provided in the cultivation of Lotus in the warm season (March to October) or grow Lotus in a greenhouse with a temperature not lower than 20°C during the landing of planting material (seeds, rhizomes), not lower than 25°C during the vegetation and flowering and not below 15°C in the last month before the collection of roots.

To reduce evaporation and possible heat stress, which can lead to deformation of young leaves, several times a day, as needed, to produce prisciani water. The spray also helps to reduce the incidence of plants spider mites.

Growing Lotus in containers allows you to monitor all the factors that affect the performance and quality of plant raw materials. Thus, when using the proposed method, characterized by the elaboration of growing conditions, including water depth, light, temperature of the soil, method of planting and fertilizer, increases the stability of obtaining high yields of Lotus orehonosny, increased commodity output per plant. On average thirty plants grown in 500-liter tanks, received 21% more plant materials in comparison with plants grown in open water (section Erik Dry Tobol).

The method of cultivation of Lotus orehonosny, characterized in that the seeds or rhizomes are planted in containers, not less than1/4filled with soil, consisting of manure or well-rotted through vegetative mulch, moss, peat moss, sand and clay in equal proportions, after planting, the plants fill in shallow and clear water, which after the onset of standing leaves increased up to 50 cm, after the appearance of new leaves from March to October 3-4 reception contribute 3%water-soluble magnesium oxide in amounts of the 5 g/l, in the flowering period every 7-10 days make a quick phosphate fertilizers, in the period of maturation and growth of rhizomes every 20 days contribute of N20P10K20based 120-150 g per 500 l container, provide a temperature not lower than 20°C during the landing of planting materials - seeds, rhizomes, not lower than 25°C during the vegetation and flowering and not below 15°C in the last month before the collection of roots, and for reducing the incidence of spider mites and prevent deformation of young leaves several times a day, carry out spraying water.

After filling the shell is bound, and the closed latticed shell is obtained with filler in the form of a blank, having the properties of flexibility and plastic deformation. Further, it is deformed from all its sides and by crumpling it and sculpting three-dimensional shape of moulding; it is attached from the outside with cotton threads, which are located on its perimetre to give rigidity to the blank, allowing to keep the obtained shape. Then the blank is dried in a drying chamber for 40-60 hours at the temperature of 40-50°C and air humidity of 40-60% to give it a potential rigidity and dryness, eliminating crushing of the blank during its transportation to the place of plant growth. Then the obtained blank is periodically dipped in water or a nutrient solution based on water, kept in water until sawdust is fully saturated with water, expose to sunlight and kept in the light. The above operations are carried out until germination through the cells of the latticed shell of the plant sprouts and their appearance on the outer surface of the shell, and then they are stopped dipping into the water, and the water is supplied on the latticed shell by its irrigation.
