FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: concentrate of fountain solution for offset printing contains citric acid and alkaline agent. The alkaline agent is used as 12-aqueous sodium phosphate at a ratio of components, wt %: citric acid 3.5 - 6.5; 12-aqueous sodium phosphate 10 - 14; water - the rest.

EFFECT: reduction of toxicity of the solution while maintaining an acceptable quality of offset printing.

 

The invention relates to the printing industry, in particular moisturizing solutions for offset printing plates.

In offset printing using the printing plate, which basically has no height difference. On the contrary, the image areas and areas nasobrahan offset printing plates have different wetting properties, i.e. hydrophobic and hydrophilic region. Offset printing plate contains, as a rule, the carrier, which is provided with a suitable hydrophobic coating. Known concentrate fountain solution for offset printing (patent RF N 2388769, CL B41N 3/08, WM 1/06, B41F 7/04), comprising at least one polymer P, which is a product of the interaction of polyethylenimine with a crosslinking agent obtained by the interaction of polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 1500 with epichlorohydrin and acrylic acid containing amino groups, modified by a group of CH2CH2COOH or its salt; trisodium citrate, glycerin, biocide and water.

Disadvantages concentrate fountain solution are

the difficulty of obtaining a polymer, which is part of the concentrate and consists of a large number of components, which in turn are about svodnyy petroleum products;

explosion hazards and the hazards to human health, are included in the polymer components;

the complexity of recycling polymer;

the high cost of the polymer, greatly increasing the cost of concentrate.

Closest to the proposed invention is a concentrate of the fountain solution for offset printing plates by A.S. N 1567395, CL VM 1/06, B41N 3/08. Fountain solution contains a buffer mixture on the basis of citric acid and an alkaline agent (caustic soda), a polyhydric alcohol, a hydrophilic colloid - hydrolyzed 18% polyacrylnitril, antiseptic and salt chromic acid selected from the group consisting of ammonium bichromate, sodium bichromate and potassium bichromate, in the following ratio, wt.%:

The disadvantages of the above concentrate is

the toxicity of the fountain solution due to the presence in its composition of caustic soda;

fire hazard due to the presence of the fountain solution concentrate legkonastraivaemy components (polyhydric alcohol, monotropy ether glycol);

the high cost of concentrate moisturizing solution because of the large number of expensive components in its composition.

The objective of the invention is to reduce the toxicity of the concentrate moisturizing solution while maintaining its quality.

This object is achieved in that the concentrate fountain solution for offset printing, containing citric acid and an alkaline agent, according to the invention, as the alkaline agent used sodium phosphate 12-water in the following ratio, wt.%:

Such a composition concentrate of the fountain solution allows to achieve an optimal coefficient of the surface tension of the film water-based paint, which ensures a uniform application of paint on the paper without the use of toxic components.

The concentrate of the fountain solution is produced by intensive mixing in a glass container according to the formulation specified in the claims. For example: sodium phosphate 12-water 120 g stir in hot water (60C) 500 ml to dissolve. Then this solution dissolve citric acid 45 g up to complete dissolution. Then add water to 1 liter. Table 1 shows the specific formulations of the concentrate according to the invention.

The stated limits of the components provide the necessary contrast the print, the sustainability gap elements, the balance of water-based paint, uniform deposition of the image.

When the content of the fountain solution concentrate citric acid more than 5.5% occur following negative effects:

the slow process of consolidation of the ink, especially for the sealing of non-absorbent materials;
