Method of preparing paint composition

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of paint materials. The paint composition is prepared by mixing varnish with fine powder of an inorganic material. The powder of inorganic material used is water treatment sludge sieved through a No.0056 sieve, said sludge being formed as a result of removing hardness salts during water treatment at thermal power plants. Components are in the following ratio, wt %: varnish 35-65; said powder of water treatment sludge 35.0-65.0.

EFFECT: method is simple and enables to obtain dough-like and ready-to-use paint compositions.

 

The invention relates to the production of paints and varnishes.

A known way of making colorful composition, providing a mix of linseed oil, pigment, filler (chalk) and drying in a ball mill [1].

The objective of the invention is to simplify the way of making colorful composition.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the way of making colorful composition, providing a mix of varnish and filler, and the filler used sifted through mesh No. 0056 powder sludge treatment, resulting from the removal of hardness salts in water treatment in thermal Central power plants, in the following ratio, wt.%: linseed oil 35-65; powder sludge treatment 35,0-65,0.

The powder slurry water is formed as a result of removal of hardness salts in water treatment in thermal Central power plants and is characterized by the following approximate chemical composition, wt.%: SO241,0-50,3; Fe3+25,0-33,1; CA2+4,0-6,0; Mg2+1,5-2,4,,,, OHCl2-1,6-23,0.

The method is illustrated by examples.

1. Metered alkyd varnish in the amount of 35 wt.% and sifted through meshNo.0056 powder sludge treatment, resulting from the removal of hardness salts the ri water treatment in thermal Central power plants, in the amount of 65 wt.%. The components are mixed (carefully fray and get breaking up paste colorful composition.

2. Dispense a drying oil-oksol in the amount of 50 wt.% and sifted through mesh No. 0056 powder sludge treatment, resulting from the removal of hardness salts in water treatment in thermal Central power plants, in the amount of 50 wt.%. The components are mixed (carefully fray) and get a ready-to-use, colorful composition.

3. Metered natural drying oil in an amount of 65 wt.% and sifted through mesh No. 0056 powder sludge treatment, resulting from the removal of hardness salts in water treatment in thermal Central power plants, in the amount of 35 wt.%. The components are mixed (carefully fray) and get a ready-to-use, colorful composition.

The proposed method is simple, allows you to get breaking up paste and ready-to-use colourful structures (brown different shades).

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmentally safe antifouling film coating compositions. The antifouling coating composition contains: (A) a copolymer which contains a triorganosilyl ester with glass-transition point of 30-80°C, obtained by mixing (a) a triorganosilyl(meth)acrylate monomer of general formula

SUBSTANCE: heat insulation coating represents a mixture of metallised and non-metallised ceramic microspheres, as a binding substance of which a mixture is used containing styrene-acrylic latex (5.0-10 wt %), sodium liquid glass (1.0-3.0 wt %) and low-molecular silicon rubber (4.0-6.0 wt %). Metallisation of ceramic microspheres is arranged from a soft magnetic iron metal, with thickness of 800-900 angstrom. In process of coating application, microspheres are exposed to magnetic power lines, for creation of which on the reverse side of the surface of the item of complex configuration, in respect to the side, onto which a coating is applied, there is a steel core, an induction winding, wires to supply current and voltage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of nanomaterials in wire enamel for improving thermal properties of enamel. The nanomodified wire enamels are usually used in making insulated winding wire. The polymer base of wire enamel is selected from a group comprising polyamideimide, polyester, polyesterimide, polyurethane and mixtures thereof. The nanomaterial is selected from a group comprising nano-oxides, metal nano-oxides, metal oxides or hydroxides of aluminium, tin, born, germanium, gallium, lead, transition metals, lanthanides, actinides and mixtures thereof. The nanomaterial is also selected from a group comprising nano-oxides, metal nano-oxides, metal oxides and hydroxides of aluminium, silicon, titanium, zinc, yttrium, vanadium, zirconium, nickel and mixtures thereof. After applying enamel on the wire and curing thereof, the wire exhibits improved thermal and mechanical properties.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed enamel contains the following (pts.wt): semi-finished enamel from epoxy resin-base - 100, an accelerator - 0.1-3.0 and a hardener - 50-90. The semi-finished enamel contains a film-forming diane resin-base which contains 48-72% diane epoxy resin, 10-25% modifier, 10-30% catalyst obtained by epoxidation of a hydroxyphenylene oligomer from alkyl resorcinol with degree of polycondensation n=0-2 at temperature of 180-250°C, pigments, filler and a rheological agent. Components of the semi-finished enamel are in the following ratio, wt %: film-forming diane epoxy resin-base - 88-92; pigments, filler, rheological agent - 8-12.

EFFECT: invention cuts the duration of applying and drying the enamel and increases operating temperature of the coating.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce artificial film-type electroconductive coatings (resists) for making radar-absorbent filler. The electroconductive paint for radar-absorbent filler contains polyvinyl acetate binder, colloidal graphite, water and OP-10 emulsifying agent.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain and control resistivity of a current-conducting coating in the range of 150-800 ohm·cm.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating compositions, particularly coating compositions with a decorative effect, which enable to obtain multi-colour and/or different-tone surfaces when applied once. Initially, the single-colour coating composition contains a first dye, a thickener, a surfactant or a mixture of surfactants with hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) less than 9 or greater than 11 and binder. All components are dispersed or dissolved in an organic solvent and water. After deposition of the said composition in form of a film onto a substrate surface which is a wall or ceiling panel, the first dye becomes incompatible with the said composition, as a result of which a portion of the first dye migrates towards the outer face of the panel while the coating composition is still in liquid state. Additional decorative effects are achieved by sliding the surface using a putty spittle or some other instrument while the coating composition is still in liquid or quasi-liquid state. The set for applying the decorative coating onto the surface contains the said composition and a label.

SUBSTANCE: method of preparing a paraffin wax emulsion involves preparation of a pre-emulsion by mixing a molten mixture of paraffin wax, mineral oil in concentration of 2.0-6.0 wt % of the emulsified mixture, an emulsifying agent in concentration of 3.0-8.0 wt % of the emulsified mixture and water. The mixture is stirred at 70-75°C for 15-25 minutes. Subsequent dispersion of the pre-emulsion is carried out in a hydrodynamic disperser at 70-75°C until an emulsion with average size of paraffin wax particles less than 1 mcm is obtained. The obtained emulsion is then cooled to temperature not over 25°C, held for 1 day and filtered. The paraffin wax mixture contains petroleum wax C18-C35 of the methane family with melting point of 45-65°C and C36-C55 isomeric structure with dropping point of 55-66°C with weight ratio of 90:10-10:90. The emulsifying agent used is non-ionic, anionic surfactants, a composition based on a mixture of stearin and/or stillage bottoms from production of fatty acids, esters of polyoxyethylated fatty alcohols and acids and an amine in weight ratio 1:1.0-1.5:1.0-1.5:0.5-1.0.

EFFECT: method enables to obtain paraffin was emulsion with high content (more than 60 wt %) of paraffin wax, which is stable for a long period of storage.

SUBSTANCE: method of preparing a paraffin wax emulsion involves preparation of a pre-emulsion by mixing a molten mixture of paraffin wax, mineral oil in concentration of 2.0-6.0 wt % of the emulsified mixture, an emulsifying agent in concentration of 3.0-8.0 wt % of the emulsified mixture and water. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wax composition for protecting surfaces of vehicles from atmospheric effects and is also a car care product, particularly for filling various defects on surfaces of vehicles. The composition contains a substance with a wax structure, a pigment and liquid silicon polymer material. The wax material used is carnauba wax or ceresin wax. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and polymer technology, particularly to making a film-forming composition which can be used in the paint and coating industry. The film-forming composition contains 25-40 wt % sunflower oil, 0.27 wt % siccative, 49.73 wt % organic solvent and chlorinated green oil as synthetic resin, which is a by-product of hydrogenation of the ethane-ethylene fraction in an installation for producing ethylene and propylene, with iodine number from 84.4 to 115.2 g I2/100 g in amount of 10-25 wt %.
