Rolled adhesive tape

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to adhesive materials in form of a thin film, particularly a rolled adhesive tape, and can be used in production thereof. An inclined line is made on the entire length of the tape. An easily recognisable breaking of the line indicates the desired end of the roll. The thickness of the line is selected such that it does not hinder reading of text glued by transparent scotch tape. The inclination angle of the line is such that the breaking of the finished line on one lateral side of the tape and the beginning on the other side cannot be taken as the desired end of the roll.

EFFECT: enabling finding of a cut end of the adhesive tape stuck to the roll.

The present invention relates to adhesive materials in the form of a thin film, in particular a roll of duct tape, and can be used during its production.

Roll the tape represents a rolled-up thin solid ribbon, made mostly of polypropylene film on one or both sides covered with resistant adhesive layer.

The most important characteristics of the adhesive tape are the degree of adhesion and the level of tensile strength. The adhesion depends on the thickness of the adhesive layer, the strength is directly proportional to the film thickness.

The tape is used in repair, construction, manufacturing, sewing, printing, automotive and other industries for the connection of different materials, as well as for packing and fixing, ensure safety of goods or products during storage and transportation. The tape is widely used by commercial, industrial, transport enterprises for office tasks, stationery needs, in medicine and in everyday life, it is used to bond the mail, but most of the adhesive tape used for packaging of goods.

Industry produces various types of adhesive tape - masking and duct tape, adhesive tape, transparent tape, color, signaling a bright red and striped the th, various advertising and warning labels, double-sided, industrial, glass, metal and other.

Some species roll of tape is presented in the patents EP 0373646 (A2) from 20.06.1990, C09J 7/02 K9B2B; JP 9025460 (A) from 28.01.1997, C09J 7/02; WO 02055623 (A1) from 18.07.2002, C09J 7/02; EP 1203800 (A2) from 08.05.2002, C09J 7/02, 7 H01B/00D, 7 H01B/02G; EP 1950264 (A1) from 30.07.2008, A47L 25/00A, 7 C09J/02F, distinguished adhesive and film composition, parameters of the roll and scope.

But thin monochrome polypropylene roll adhesive tape has a certain disadvantage: after cutting often occurs gluing the end of the tape to the roll, and since the thickness of the tape is only 40-50 microns, have difficulty with finding this end that, in addition to time-consuming, sometimes irritating, especially if it happens repeatedly. This happens especially often with widespread universal transparent tape.

The purpose of the claimed invention to provide an easy way of finding glued to roll the cut end of the tape.

The invention is illustrated using figure 1-4. Figure 1 shows a General view of the roll of masking tape.

To achieve these objectives throughout the length of the tape along its outer surface is applied sloping line. Easy-to-find line break (figure 2) indicates the location of the desired end R of the womb. After the end of the slanting line on the side edge of the roll she can continue, reflected from the edges (figure 3) or starting from the opposite side (figure 4). The line thickness is selected so that it does not obstruct reading sealed with a transparent adhesive tape of the text.

Although tape with printed text, this problem is not as acute for easier searching, the end of the tape brand or ad text can also be applied obliquely.

The angle α of inclination of the line is selected so as to slant over from one side of the roll to the other exceeded the circumference of the roll to break ended line up on one side of the tape and the beginning of another, it was impossible to take for the desired end of the roll (figure 4).

The angle α of inclination of the search line to the line side of the roll (2) is determined from the expression

α=arctgH/Lmax,

where H is the thickness of the coil;

Lmax is the maximum length of the circumference of the roll, is defined as

Lmax=πDmax,

where Dmax is the maximum diameter of the roll.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that to help you search glued to roll the cut end of the tape along its entire length caused the sloping line, the gap which indicates the location of the desired end of the roll.

The closest in technical essence to allow aemono invention are patent US 2002114910 (A1) from 22/08/2002, B44C 1/16F, C09J 7/02, which presents a transparent adhesive tape with a function of image transfer, and patent WO 2008085168 (A1) from 17.07.2008, C09J 11/02, C09J 133/04, C09J 7/02 K9B4 describing non-flammable transparent roll the tape.

The technical result of the invention is to save time and nerves for easier searching bonded to roll the cut end of the tape.

This technical result is achieved due to the fact that the entire length of the ribbon has slanted line, a gap which indicates the location of the desired end of the roll.

The increased productivity is that to facilitate the search glued to roll the cut end of the tape along its entire length caused the sloping line, the gap which indicates the location of the desired end of the roll.

New the essential features of the claimed invention are:

- ease of finding glued to roll the cut end of the tape;

- applying throughout the length of the tape sloping line, his gap specifying the location of the desired end of the roll.
