SUBSTANCE: tobacco smoke filter has a cylindric cover containing a spiral element with diameter approximately equal to the inner diameter of the cover as well as filtering means placed between the spiral element and the cover. The spiral element contacts the cover to the its inner diameter and is made by means of sideward compressing with the ability to maintain the contact after the compression. Filter production requires the preparation of the cylindric spiral having the inner space inside the spiral volute and outer edge making a cylindrical form. In the specified inner space filter means are located along with wrapped outer edge of the filled spiral cover. Spiral element is used sidewards thus providing its contact with the cover which is preserved after the spiral element copression.

EFFECT: this filter provides the increased contact time with the filtering material and expanded space of the filtering material contact surface.

The invention relates to a product, namely the cigarette filter. Known different types of cigarette filters. It is most common at the moment, the cigarette filters with particulate filler of synthetic filter material and the outer paper shell with perforations. Filtering occurs when passing smoke through the filter material through the perforations in the shell of the filter, the air is mixed with cigarette smoke, the concentration of cigarette smoke are thus reduced and the output of the filter cigarette smoke contains less tar and other products of combustion. Thus, the degree of filtering depends on the quality of the filter material, and the amount of air that enters the filter through the perforations. Developed and manufactured various types of filters with different filtering level. However, at the moment among the different types of cigarette filters do not exist cigarette filter with a variable level filtrating

The essence of the proposed technical solution is in cigarette filter with the ability to change the filtering level. Cigarette filter consists of a filter material, a shell (e.g., paper) with perforations, closed excavated tapes (e.g., paper). Figure No. 1. When adrianasage number of paper strips is achieved different levels of filtering. According to the principle: the more strips torn off, the higher the level of filtration and Vice versa.

This solution is industrially applicable as modern technologies of production of articles of paper and other similar materials allow to implement this solution.
