SUBSTANCE: invention relates to broadcast receivers and more specifically to a broadcast receiver able to receive an IP broadcast. The technical field

The present invention relates to the unit of the broadcast receiver, and more particularly to a device of the broadcast receiver, configured to accept an IP broadcast.

The level of technology

In recent years, devices receivers broadcasting acquired the opportunity to receive various services through the network connection. One of the services is the IP broadcasting. Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing an example of a device configuration of the broadcast receiver according to the present invention. At step S106, the device of the broadcast receiver erases the file from the CDN configuration information file with PF configuration information stored in the storage unit for CDN, which is a previous target of the connection, and updates the file with the CDN configuration information of the new file that you obtained in step S102, and the file configuration information PF new file that you obtained in step S105.

With this configuration, if a CDN, with which the device of the broadcast receiver should be connected is changed to another because of the move, switching from one CDN provider to another, or the like, the user does not need to deliberately search for channels and it can automatically retrieve relevant pieces of information channels for channels provided by the CDN, the device receiver of the broadcast currently connected. Additionally, the configuration makes it possible to prevent problems such as a malfunction in the device receiver of the broadcast caused a situation in which the search for new channels is not performed, despite the change in CDN destination of the connection, and the device receiver of the broadcast refers to the pieces of information channels, based on file with configuration information CDN for CDN other than CDN, with which the device of the broadcast receiver connected at the moment.

Industrial applicability
