Moreover, the pin (9) has the ability to shift in the horizontal direction, and the horizontal component of displacement of the pin (9) can be converted by the transfer element (7) into the displacement of the control unit (11), and the horizontal component of displacement of the pin can be converted by the transfer element (7) into the vertical displacement of the control unit (11).

A hand mixer (1) comprises a body (2), a motor, a motor switch (4) with one switched-off position, one position of short-term connection and at least one position of long-term connection. At the same time the device comprises one first connecting coupling for connection of the tool and the second connecting coupling. It also includes a hole for connection, which is equipped with a lock (8) so that the second connecting coupling is available for connection of the tool only with the lock (8) open, and a locking element (14), which is mechanically connected to the lock (8) and interacts with the coupled locking element (16) of the motor switch (4) so that the lock (8) may not be opened, when the motor switch (4) is in position of long-term connection. According to the invention the locking element (14) is connected to the lock (8) by means of at least one hinged connection facility (11, 12).

The device is equipped with the control element which is switched between the rest position and one operating position in order to start up and stop the drive motor meant for the working member drive. The latter is closed with the cover plate put on the household device during operation and detached by means of the releasing device. In order to make the use of the household device more convenient, it is proposed to attach the control element to the releasing device so that when the control element is put to the releasing position, the cover plate of the device can be removed, and start-up of the drive motor is impossible.
