Wave-activated power plant

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: wave-activated power plant comprises an energy converter including a system of gears enclosed into a body fixed on a support above the water surface capable of rotation around the vertical axis, a lever, which is connected with its one end to the gear system via a mechanism of single-sided rotation, and with the second one - to a cylindrical float. The float is equipped with a wave tail unit for alignment along with direction of waves and freely rotates on the lever axis, compensating variances of wave forces at the float ends. A generator is fixed on the support above the water surface and is connected to the energy converter.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to align the float along the direction of waves and to more efficiently convert the energy of sea waves.

 

The invention relates to renewable energy, in particular electricity generation by energy from sea waves by a vertical rise and fall of waves.

Known wave power plant, selected for the prototype (RU patent 2049925, IPC F03B 13/12, F03B 13/12; publ. 10.12.1995)containing a floating body with a generator, an air turbine and Anoprienko cameras with floats, this camera is made in the form of glasses, the open end of each of which is submerged under the water level, it is equipped with Overdrive gear and overrunning clutches, its body is made in the form of platforms and floats - G-shaped and is installed with the possibility of unilateral rotation on a horizontal shaft mounted in the glass, with one of the projections float longer or heavier than the other, all the shafts are interconnected, which increases the gearbox is connected with the latter and the shaft of the air turbine at using overrunning, and the turbine shaft connected to the generator.

The disadvantage of the design is the difficulty of manufacturing the float and the lack of orientation in the direction of the waves.

The invention allows to obtain clean energy by converting the energy of sea waves.

The technical result consists in obtaining the most simple and effective setup and, which allows you to supply cheap electricity consumers near the shore. The design allows the orientation of the float in the direction of the waves and more efficiently convert the energy of ocean waves.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the wave power plant, containing the energy Converter wave, the float according to the invention, the energy Converter includes a system of gears enclosed in a housing mounted on the support above the surface of the water with the possibility of rotation around a vertical axis, a lever which at one end is connected with a system of gears through a one-way rotation, and the second cylindrical float, and the float is provided with a wave fin for orientation in the direction of the waves and freely rotates on the axis of the lever, compensating differences of wave forces on the ends of the float, with the generator mounted on the support above the water surface and connected to the Converter energy.

The design of wave power station contains:

- support 1 mounted on the bottom or platform;

- energy Converter wave;

generator 5, is fixed on the support 1 above the water surface and connected to the energy Converter;

the float 10, provided with a wave plumage 11 for orientation in the direction of the waves.

The energy Converter wave includes:

a system of gears 6, 7, prisoners in the housing 4, which is fixed on the support 1 above the water surface and is made to rotate around a vertical axis;

- lever 9, which one end is connected with a system of gears 6, 7 through the one-way rotation 8, and the second cylindrical float 10, the float 10 freely rotates on the axis of the lever 9.

Case 4 can be manufactured using modern carbon technologies. The electric generator 5 is preferably mounted on one side of the housing 4 and is installed on the same axis with the small gear 6. Under the small gear inside the housing 4 is a large gear 7, meshed with the small gear 6. A large gear 7 through the mechanism of odnostoronnego rotation 8 is unwound by a lever 9. The lever 9 is mounted on the housing 4 preferably on the opposite side of the generator 5 to avoid mechanical interaction. At the other end of the lever 9 is cylindrical float 10 with water wings 11 to the orientation of the lever and through it the entire device around a vertical axis in the direction of the waves (figa). The float 10 can freely rotate on the axis of the lever 9 to compensate for the differences of wave forces (figb) at the ends of the float.

The work of the plant is simple. Wave float 10 orients the device 4 in the direction of motion, raises the lever 9 and using the one-way rotation spins a large gear 7, which, in turn, rotates the small gear 6 to the generator 5. Generator 5 generates electricity. After passing wave lever 9 is free to fall, as comes in a one-way rotation, but a large gear 7 continues to rotate in the role of the flywheel. The next wave repeats the cycle. Electric current (pigv) through wires (not shown) goes to the beach (controller charging, battery, inverter and so on).

The structure height above the surface and the length of the lever depend on the medium size waves in a certain place and can be easily calculated at the installation site.

Option device for beam 2 between the two columns is similar, the difference of status is it in the bracket 15.

The advantages of the device is obvious:

1. The natural orientation in the direction of the waves and low frontal wave resistance.

2. The device is simple, compact, cheap for mass production.

3. High efficiency, because the wave energy to the generator comes with minimal changes.

The proposed device can be used anywhere, individually or in the system. It can be used in the United energy system with wind turbines in the water, in the oil platforms.

It is possible to turn from the first fold position directly under cylinder 1 into the second unfolded position directed to tide fluxes, therefore when operating the set, water movement through blades 3 of rotor 2 rotates rotor 2, ensuring that generator produces power.

Converters are submerged to the bottom and made in the form of flattened cone or prism with cutouts providing water supply to create excess pressure of working medium in upper narrower part of converters.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to hydraulic power development. A support arm with a hinge, enabling rotation and fixing the water pipeline in the direction of flow of water, allows for using the power installation as a flow power installation or as a wave power installation. Functional capabilities of the power installation are widened due to use of water pipelines with orthogonal turbines and an electric power generator under water on the support arm. The amount of electrical power generated can also be increased due to that, the blades are oriented in opposite directions for rotation of orthogonal turbines in opposite, unchanged directions, independent of the direction of flow through the orthogonal turbines. The inductor coil of the electric power generator is immoveable, has two-directional operation and is between neighbouring short-circuited rotors, each connected to its axle of the orthogonal turbine. The short-circuited rotors rotate in opposite directions, are fitted with small clearances from the inductor coil and are fixed using lining made from material with low sliding friction. As a result, there is increased efficiency of using energy of water passing through the flow part of the convergent-divergent water pipeline.

EFFECT: wider functional capabilities of a power installation with orthogonal turbines.

SUBSTANCE: hydraulic unit contains hydro generator, working blades rotating around a horizontal axis and having a shape formed with one parabola or with a cross of two parabolas, and a shaft running inside a bar to transfer a torque to the generator. The unit is equipped with a hollow drum with supports providing its floatation ability, and with a rotary table whereon the hydro generator is assembled. Also the hydro generator has inertial wheels with massive rims secured to both sides of the drum, and the second bar. The working blades are fastened flexibly with loops to the drum and pressed to the supports by flat springs. The shaft is made flexible and runs through both rods by means of which the axis of the unit is held and directed.

SUBSTANCE: pontoon tidal power plant comprises pontoon vertical cylindrical shells (1), generators, water intake and discharge pipes (20), a system of ropes (8) and anchors (9). Shells (1) are installed with a gap between adjacent shells along a longitudinal line, perpendicular to direction of tide (4). In the middle part of pontoon shells (1) at both sides there are ropes (8) fixed as connected to anchors (9). In the pontoon vertical cylindrical shell (1) there is a water-receiving (10) and dry (11) chambers concentrically arranged. The water-receiving chamber (10) is divided by a partition (12) into sections. In each section there are outlet nozzles (13), a perforated flow distributor (14), a central perforated riser (16), an inlet nozzle (19) of a discharge pipe (20). Outlet nozzles (13) are installed tangentially for flow swirling. The flow distributor (14) is made as a truncated cone with an open upper base and a lower base (15) closed by a wall. The perforated riser (16) is made in the form of a pipe. The lower hole (17) of the pipe is opened, and the upper one is connected to a fish-discharge pipe (18). A dotted line (26) shows position of the pontoon vertical cylindrical shell (1) at the maximum level of water in the sea.

EFFECT: exclusion of fish passage via working elements of generators provides for higher efficiency of fish protection.

SUBSTANCE: plant includes pontoons 1 and 2 connected by means of bellows 3. Pontoon 1 has bellows 4 on front side, and bellows chamber 5 is attached to its bottom. Above pontoon 1 there attached through turning bearing 6 is vertical air duct 7 with turbogenerator 8. Air intake socket pipe 9 with chain 10 and hinged non-return valve 11 is fixed on its right side. To the left of air duct 7 there attached is plumage 12, from above is elbow 13 the outlet hole of which faces plumage 12. Air duct 14 is attached through bearing 15 from above to pontoon 2 and has turbogenerator 16 from inside, plumage 17 on the left side 17, and angular socket pipe 18 from above 18. Hinged non-return valves 21 and 22 are installed in outlet holes of pontoons 1 and 2. Valve 22 is pressed to its seat with flat spring 23. To pontoon 2 there attached is bellow chamber 24 having cap 25. Plumage 12 and 17 is made of closed metal frame 26 and 27, and piezoelectric films 28 and 29 are fixed on them.

SUBSTANCE: device for obtaining electric energy from sea waves includes vessel hull, several longitudinal channels 2 at vessel hull, hydraulic turbine generators 14, electric accumulators, electric actuator 12 with screw propeller 13. Longitudinal channels 2 are slanted towards vessel aft. Lower edge of inlet nose hole 4 of channel 2 is arranged at level of average seal water level value. In longitudinal channel 2 there installed is circular cylinder with vertical axis with possibility of its being flown along the outline with sea water flow, in the cavity of which there provided are pipelines interconnected with each other and with longitudinal channel. Hydraulic turbine generators 14 are installed on pipeline which is transverse to longitudinal channel.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing electric energy from sea currents involves sea water intake to pipeline 3 arranged in cavity of circular cylinder 1 with vertical axis, passage of sea water to working member of hydraulic generator 4, and water discharge from pipeline 3. Sea water intake to pipeline is performed in circuit 5 of circular cylinder 1 at leakage point of approaching flow. Sea water discharge from pipeline 3 is performed at point 6 in circuit of circular cylinder 1, which is located in the gap between two adjacent circular cylinders 1.

SUBSTANCE: device includes several cylindrical shell supports arranged on sea shelves, system of supply and drain pipelines, hydraulic generators. Cylindrical shell supports are installed in a row with clearance for water passage along line perpendicular to direction of tidal and ebb currents. Cavity of cylindrical shell support is divided along vertical line into several tiers, for instance into 2 and more, to locate pipelines and hydraulic generators. Supply pipeline passes perpendicularly along diagonal line, and drain pipeline - along diagonal line parallel to line of installation of cylindrical shell supports. At the same time ends of these pipelines communicate with sea, and hydraulic generators are arranged on drain pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: oscillations of float through double-arm level via mechanical drive actuate rotor of power generator that generates electric current and is located in tight closed inner space of base fixed on bottom in coastal area. Additionally wave front is concentrated by means of guide platform fixed on concrete base. Beginning of platform is located at the level of water surface and to direct wave front to receiving platform, which, deviating under action of wave front impact and wave water weight, through mechanical drive, rotates rotor of electric generator, and as water flows down from it, it returns into initial position with the help of return-damping spring. Spring with its one end is connected to receiving platform, and the other end is fixed on concrete base.

SUBSTANCE: electric current generator includes rotor and stator with common longitudinal axis located horizontally, the cores with coils and excitation system of which provide generation of electric current; at that, centre of mass of rotor or stator are eccentrically offset relative to longitudinal axis of their rotation, and for increasing the eccentricity on rotor or stator there fixed is additional weight, or there are slots and/or holes to which there can be introduced the material with unit weight which is bigger than that of the material enclosing it, or one or some part of coils and their cores are removed, or cores with coils are located axisymmetrically or in odd number which is more than 3. In order to provide the possibility of swinging of statically unbalanced rotors or stators, they shall be installed freely, and their paired rotor or stator is fixed on the floating device having the possibility of oscillations through angle ± α at movement of water waves and possibility of being turned along the normal to impact of waves owing to the shape of their housing or vertical finning. At that, generators can be installed in front rows or in rows one after the other, and in order to percept oscillations of floating device in mutually perpendicular directions, generators can be built perpendicularly in hollow tubular rotor of external generator the rotor or stator of which are statically unbalanced and have the possibility, owing to free suspension in direction to the centre of the Earth, of oscillatory movements relative to their paired rotors and stators fixed on floating device at influence of waves thereon. In order to provide the possibility of oscillations in three mutual planes the rotors and stators of generators can be installed on horizontal rotary platform installed on floating device and having the possibility of free rotation about their vertical axis. At that, on platform and surfaces of floating device, which are adjacent to it, there can be installed cores with coils and excitation system, which provide electric current generation. Rotors and stators can also be suspended to horizontal platform, including in several tiers.

EFFECT: providing reliable generation of electric current at free mutual offset of rotor and stator of generator with forces of gravity of the Earth.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to marine hydraulic power engineering and can be used for construction of hydraulic power plant using the energy of breaking wave. Water lifting pump for marine surf wave hydraulic power plant includes pontoon-float 4 and hollow flattened cone 2 with lower wide intake and upper narrow supply part changing into vertical upward directed tube and which is rigidly connected to pontoon-float 4 with possibility of back-and-forth upward-downward movement under influence of breaking wave. Pump is equipped with the system of hollow flattened cones 2 with internal conicity of 0.025 to 0.01, which form common rigid construction and capacities 1 rigidly fixed and pre-filled with water, in each of which there lowered is movable cone 2 which is not connected rigidly to the housing of capacity 1 with possibility of water carry-over upward to the next adjacent above located capacity 1. In the first capacity 1 the upper edge is located at water level with possibility of being constantly filled with movement of breaking wave. Each of cones 1 is equipped with dividing check valve installed at the transition from cone 2 to the tube.

SUBSTANCE: proposed wave energy plant has supporting frame with vertical guides, float installed for vertical reciprocation that accommodates ratchet gears provided with coaxial central holes, shaft passed though these holes and fixed in supporting frame to laminar screw section whose top and bottom parts are twisted in opposition and contact ratchet gears disposed in cylindrical casing with through holes; it also has electric generator. Float is mounted for displacement along vertical guides and has inertial member disposed inside for rotation and displacement together with float; inertial member contacts inner surface of float casing through rollers. Cylindrical casing is joined with inertial member; electric generator is disposed within supporting frame and kinematically coupled through extensible joint between inertial member and drum installed for joint rotation with the latter and with gear transmission.
