Method of treatment of synthetic fiber materials in order to increase its hygienicity

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the area of chemical technology of textile fiber materials and refers to the method of treatment of synthetic fiber materials in order to increase their hygienicity. Synthetic fiber materials are exposed to water solution of complex cation of chrome benzoate (III) or water solution of complex cation of aluminum benzoate or water solution of complex cation of copper benzoate (II) with concentration 0.1-0.5 mol/l for 1.5 hours at the temperature 98-100°C, hydromodule 50. Then it is washed twice with the cold water and is dried.

The invention relates to chemical technology of textile fibrous material and is intended for processing of synthetic fibres and materials on their basis, aimed at improving their hygienic properties by increasing the ability to absorb moisture.

Known methods for modifying fibers to improve their hygroscopic properties.

In particular, a method of obtaining hydrophilic polyacrylonitrile fiber by saponification of the original fiber sodium hydroxide solution, in which the saponified fibers are first treated with 3-7%aqueous solution of sodium alginate. The result is a fiber with high moisture absorption (EN 98113330, class D01F 11/04, D01F 6/18, 1998).

Obtaining products and hygiene goods with high moisture absorption is described by the following method, which can be taken as the closest analogue. Freshly formed of polyvinyl alcohol fiber is treated with an aqueous solution of mixtures of sodium salts pornotesao with a concentration of 7.5 to 10.0 g/l, and calcium chloride concentration of 2.0-4.0 g/L. Then the fiber is squeezed and dried in the air (EN 96101005, class D01F 11/06, 1996).

The disadvantages of the method selected for analog, can be attributed to difficulties in the organization of the technological line of the receipt of such fibers due to the fact that the finishing bath for processing freshly formed in the window salts periodic method for penetration of salts into the thickness of the fiber, ensure firm fixation, should be placed after the node forming fiber, which operates in continuous mode with high feed speeds.

Technical problem which the claimed invention is directed is to provide a composition for improving the hygienic properties of synthetic fibers and materials on their basis, as well as ways of processing these fibers and materials with the help of the developed composition, the implementation of which would allow to obtain a technical result, which is expressed in the giving of the processed fiber and material high vlagopoglascheniem and fungicides.

This technical result is achieved by the fact that the proposed processing method in which a synthetic fibrous materials on the basis of polycaproamide and polyethylene terephthalate are treated with an aqueous solution of the complex cation benzoate chromium(III), or aluminum benzoate, or benzoate, copper(II) with a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mol/l for periodic way for 1.5 hours at a temperature of 98-100°C, the water ratio of 50, with two subsequent washing in cold water and standard drying.

The complex cation benzoate chromium(III) obtained by mixing in the processing bath of chloride of chromium(III) with benzoic acid in a molar ratio of 1:2.

Chemical formula to the complex cation:

The complex cation of aluminum benzoate obtained by mixing aluminum chloride to benzoic acid in a molar ratio of 1:2.

The treated fibers and materials on their basis can be provided with increased moisture absorption combined with giving bactericidal properties, in this case, the fiber materials are processed on the proposed technology with an aqueous solution of the complex cation benzoate, copper(II).

The complex cation benzoate, copper(II) obtained by mixing in the processing bath of sulphate of copper(II) with benzoic acid in a molar ratio of 1:1).

The hygroscopic growth and the capillarity of the material, testifying to its higher hydrophilicity, is provided by the formation of hydrated complexes between chemically fixed on the polymer metal cations and water molecules, which are sorbed therein due to the formation of internal and external coordination sphere of the metal cation hydration shell, and the emergence of antifungal activity is due to the specific properties of the cations of copper(II). Processing in the form of complex cation containing benzoic what islote, required for penetration of cations in the thickness of the polymer, providing resistance to such modification of the fiber.

The proposed method is illustrated by the following examples.

Example 1. Fabric made of polyethylene terephthalate is processed in the processing bath is an aqueous solution of the complex cation benzoate chromium(III) or aluminum benzoate with a concentration of 0.5 mol/l for periodic way for 1.5 hours at a temperature of 98-100°C, the water ratio of 50. Then the treated material is subjected to washing twice with cold water, and then dried. As a result, the fabric has a high vlagopoglascheniem, which is confirmed by the increase in its hygroscopicity 3-4 times.

Example 2. The fabric of polycaproamide is processed in the processing bath is an aqueous solution of the complex cation benzoate, copper(II) with a concentration of 0.5 mol/l for periodic way for 1.5 hours at a temperature of 98-100°C, the water ratio of 50. Then the treated material is subjected to washing twice with cold water, and then dried. Proposed method of treatment includes application of treatment compound with gradually winding off cordage article submerged in said compound and pulling article through compound at speed providing required preset depth of impregnation. Then cordage article is passed through draw plate and squeezed out. Squeezed out article is wound on drum. Temperature of treatment compound is maintained at level of 70-75°. Compound contains paraffin. Use is made of degreased paraffin into which mineral oil is additionally introduced at the following ratio of components, mass %: degreased paraffin 85-90; mineral oil 15-10. Device is furnished with means for application of treatment compound made in from of cylindrical channel. Said channel is arranged coaxially to cylinder with heat carrier furnished with heat sensor and connected with reservoir for heating of heat carrier. Cylindrical channel for application of treatment compound is connected at one side with reservoir with heated treatment compound, and at other side it is furnished with draw arranged at outlet end of cylindrical channel. SUBSTANCE: material is made in the form of low-twist yarn of flat section from bast-fiber or mixed filaments having linear density of 1,500-3,500 tex and twist rate of 20-50 per 1 m.
