FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: friction item has working surface, pressure surface, and side surfaces. On side (or one of sides) surfaces of the item there is set a wear indicator made in form of a lug or recess. The wear indicator is made so, that corresponding lines of cross section of side surfaces of the item and surface of the indicator are made with not smooth transition (transition with a curve) along arc with radius from 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm for each plane of cross-section of the item orthogonal to pressure and side surfaces of the item.

EFFECT: simplified design of item and its practical manufacture in existent serial production.

 

The invention relates to equipped with visual signs of wear, friction products, designed for operation in different friction mechanisms (brake units of machinery and equipment, couplings, and so on).

Analogous to the claimed invention is a friction product, which has a working pressure surface, and side surfaces, containing a wear indicator, located on the sides (or one side) surfaces of the product and represents a ledge or recess (see RF patent No. 28211, IPC7F16D 69/00, 2003). The essential features of the analogue of the "wear indicator, located on the sides (or one side) surfaces of the product and represents the protrusion (or hollow)" match the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analog is the possibility of formation of areas of high stress concentration at the intersection of side surface plates with the surface of the wear indicator, which can lead to crack formation on this line.

The prototype of the claimed invention is a friction product, which has a working pressure surface, and side surfaces, containing a wear indicator, located on the sides (or one side) surfaces of the product and made in the form of protrusion or recess, while for each section plane products orthogonal pressure and the lateral surfaces of the product, section lines, the side surfaces of the product and the surface of the indicator is performed with the pair (a smooth transition without bending) along the arc radius of from 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm (see RF patent №92499, IPC F16D 69/00, 2010). The essential features of the analogue of the "wear indicator, located on the sides (or one side) surfaces of the product and made in the form of protrusions or recesses coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of the prototype is significant complexity in the practical manufacture of the product due to the need for a smooth transition (pair) one line to another. The pair is provided only when direct is tangent to an arc, that is the point of pairing necessarily lies on the perpendicular on a straight line from the center of the circle to which the arc belongs (if this condition is not met, the pair of lines there. Cm. Bogdanov VLADIMIR. and other reference drawing. M., "engineering", 1989, s; 162). To actually perform such a condition in the production of products available in the field of engineering equipment and technologies is almost impossible, which makes the prototype is not actually relevant to the condition of "industrial applicability".

The challenge aimed declare sabreena, is to simplify the design of the product and the possibility of its practical manufacture in actually existing mass production.

The essential features of the claimed invention "for each section plane of the product, orthogonal to the pressure and the lateral surfaces of the product corresponding to the section line of the side surfaces of the product and the surface of the indicator is made with smooth transition (a transition from a bend in an arc with a radius of 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm are different from the characteristics of the prototype.

Friction product is a polymer composite friction element made of a polymer composite having a polymer matrix (rubber vulcanizer, reset resins, mixtures thereof, etc.), dispersion of napolnitel the mineral, metal and other) and, if necessary, fibrous fillers (asbestos, polyaramid threads fibers, mineral fibers, etc.) Fillers may be included in the item individually or as mixtures. When the product of the residual thickness, in which the wall opens onto the working surface, the product should be discontinued and the product must be replaced. The product may be designed in such a way that the plane of the flat surface the indicator and the side surfaces of the products are under the same or under different angles to the axis of the product. The indicator can be accomplished when the plane of the flat surface of the indicator and the side surface are parallel. There may be other configuration options of the indicator. For any variant execution indicator for each section plane of the product, orthogonal to the pressure and the lateral surfaces of the product corresponding to the section line of the side surfaces of the product and the surface of the indicator is made with a smooth transition into each other (the transition from the bend, without pairing) arc radius of from 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm

Such a performance indicator of wear, giving the same as in the prototype, reducing tension areas on the lateral surface of the pads allows you to produce products with the indicator used in the production friction products equipment. This results in a simpler design of the product and allows it to serial production.

SUBSTANCE: friction item consists of metal frame with holes and of friction element moulded-on to it. The friction element is made of polymer friction composite and is equipped with lugs arranged inside holes. Hardness of composite in lugs is less, than in a working part of the friction element.

EFFECT: reduced probability of lugs and item proper fracture under changing thermal loads during friction item operation; increased strength of lugs to impact mechanic effect.
