The invention relates to a drum for washing machines, clothes dryers or washing-drying machine.

According to a specific reference to a known washing machines perforated drum, which is designed to accommodate linen for washing, is mounted for rotation in a tank containing a strong alkaline solution. In the rotational motion of the drum linen mixed and rapidly rotates in a strong alkaline solution, and a strong alkaline solution moves up under the action of a rotating drum, where it falls on the linen, which leads to a complete immersion and wetting underwear so that particles are transferred in a strong alkaline solution for washing and rinsing.

Usually the drum consists of a back wall, by means of which the drum is fixed in the washing machine, the front wall, forming a filling opening through which you can gain access to the interior of the drum, and a side wall, which is usually cylindrical and perforated to facilitate a strong alkaline solution between the tank and the interior of the drum. The side wall is typically formed from steel sheet with two opposite longitudinal edges and two opposite transverse edges, which are bent around the longitudinal axis of the drum for the formation of the cylinder is, and transverse edges of which are connected to each other to maintain a cylindrical shape, whereas the longitudinal edges connected to respective outer edges of the rear and front walls to form a drum.

To increase the efficiency of washing and drying Laundry contained in the drum, attempts are being made to increase the speed of rotation of the drum and to provide a very abrupt change in the direction of its rotation. These working conditions of the modern washing machines cause large centrifugal force, due to which part of the linen slides along the side wall of the drum, not being mixed, and held in the recesses between the side wall of the drum and moving ledges, which radially protrude from this side toward the inner part of the drum.

This "congestion" congestion linen along the outer wall of the drum, in addition to reducing the efficiency of washing this part of lingerie, also blocks the holes for the exchange of strong alkaline solution between the tank for washing and dryer.

Thus, the aim of the present invention is to provide a drum for washing machines, washing and drying machines and dryers, with such characteristics, which would re-mixing layer underwear, formed along the side wall of the drum under the action of centrifugal force p and the provision of improved exchange of fluid between the tank for washing and dryer.

These and other objectives are achieved by loading drum washing machines, washing and drying machines, dryers and the like, containing:

the rear wall for attachment to a supporting element of the drum;

the front wall opposite the back wall.

the side wall encircling the longitudinal axis, which axis of rotation of the drum, and which is connected to both the front and rear walls for the formation of the internal space of the drum;

one or more moving the tabs on the side wall and protruding toward the inner part of the drum, in which the side wall contains perforated with many small holes, which are located at the top of the respective domes protruding toward the outside of the drum, as well as many of the rounded protrusions in the form of a spherical dome without through holes and protruding toward the inner side of the drum.

These rounded projections in the form of a spherical dome have a "soft" pull effect on the underwear which is in contact with the side wall of the drum. Lingerie is no longer slides into tight contact along the side wall, and rounded protrusions slightly raise the linen against the centrifugal force, thus freeing the small through-hole at back the Oia in the side wall and providing a mixing linen. Linen, raised thus cannot accumulate in the depression between the lateral wall of the drum and moving the tabs, but rather faces the moving ledges on the remote site side wall of the drum so that the tabs change the movement of the linen toward the inner part of the drum. The rise of linen is provided, due to the absence of through-hole at the rounded edges and, thus, due to the absence of radial fluid flow in these holding areas.

Preferential embodiments of the present invention are order dependent claims.

Distinctive features and advantages of the present invention will be clearer from the following detailed description of several embodiments, which are provided as non-limiting examples and illustrated in the accompanying drawings on which:

With reference to the figures, washing machine front loading, equipped with a tank, with an offset axis, schematically depicted in figure 1. Details: washing machine, which is usually denoted by reference number 1, includes a housing 2, tank 3, installed in it, which is generally of a cylindrical body, made or plastic, or stainless steel or offset, or with a horizontal longitudinal axis X (as shown in figure 1). Tank 3 is connected to the housing 2 with the aid of known means, which include shock absorbers and suspension springs that are not shown in order to avoid complication of the drawing.

The tank 3 is provided with a front opening 5 having a generally circular shape, which can be closed by means of a hatch, hinged front directly on the housing 2 and is not shown, as is well known, in fact. In the tank 3 is mounted for rotation around the X axis of the drum 6 to accommodate the underwear, which should be washed and/or dried. The drum 6 which contains the side wall 7, the rear or bottom wall 8 and the front wall 9. The walls 7, 8 and 9 form an internal space 10 is designed to accommodate the underwear, which should be washed and/or dried. The front wall 9 of the drum 6 is a stainless steel ring or plastic with a hole 11 having a generally circular shape, which is located in such a manner as to correspond to the hole 5 of the tank 3 to provide access to the internal space 10 for loading/unloading.

The rear or bottom wall 8 of the drum 6 is preferably essentially curved in the center of the steel disk with a flat surface, concave towards the outside of the drum. In the middle of the back wall 8 of the drum 6 is installed anchor sleeve 4 to the drum, and the drum is functionally connected through it with an electric motor (not shown), which adjusts its rotation around the longitudinal axis X.

The side wall 7 of the drum is preferably made entirely of smooth steel sheet, which is bent so that it forms approximately a surface of rotation around the Central longitudinal axis coinciding with the longitudinal axis X of the tank 3 when used.

The connection of the bottom 8 and the front walls 9 to the side wall 7 preferably by addition of the two end sections of the sheet, is susegana side wall 7, for the formation of a C-shaped profile for steel plates at both ends. The bottom 8 and the front 9 of the wall is designed in such a way as to form at their outer end of the profiles corresponding to the C-shaped profile formed on both end parts of the side wall 7.

The drum 6 further comprises one or more, preferably three, moving protrusion 12 located on the side wall 7 on the distance step angle 120 and protruding into the inner portion 10 of the drum.

The side wall 7 of the drum includes a perforation, which side wall is made in the form of a number of small through holes 13, which, essentially, are the same distance from each other and suitable to ensure the passage of a strong alkaline solution from the tank into the drum and Vice versa. Each of these small holes 13 are mostly formed in the Central top of the dome 14, which preferably is made by pushing, speaking on the outer side of the drum. Due to the regular arrangement of dome-shaped indentations caused 14, having a diameter from 2 to 8 mm, preferably from 3 to 5 mm and protruding in the radial direction to the outer side of the drum, drilled the side wall 7 has a high rigidity, and the edges of small holes 13 is removed from linen to prevent the IC on the hard contact between the through holes 13 and linen.

The drilling is preferably performed only on the main cylindrical part 15 and the front portion 16 having the shape of a truncated cone side wall 7, which are separated from each other in a circular fold line 17.

Particularly preferably, those areas that directly surround the fold line 17 between the main body 17 and the front part 18 does not contain holes 13 for easier execution of the respective folds along the dashed lines.

In accordance with the present invention, the side wall 7 and especially the main cylindrical part 15 contains many rounded projections 18, which are inside the drum. These rounded projections 18 do not contain small through holes preferably have a diameter that is much larger than the diameter of the small through holes 13 and their domes 14. Preferably, the rounded protrusions also have a domed or colacioppo shape (convex, as seen inside the drum), which is, preferably, formed by the indentation. These rounded projections 18 have an outer diameter in the range from 10 mm to 30 mm, preferably about 20 mm, and a height in the range from 1 mm to 4 mm, preferably 2 mm, and have moving and "soft" lifting effect on linen in contact with the side wall 7 of the drum 6.

Mainly, the ratio of the external diameter of the rounded protrusions (18) to the outer diameter of the dome (14) is in the range from 2:1 to 4:1.

Experimental tests have shown that the specific location of the rounded protrusions 18 exclusively contributes to the efficiency of washing, especially clothes made of thin fabrics. This is the location of the rounded protrusions 18 shown in figs, SV and AP and includes located around the circumference of the sequence of the individual groups of rounded protrusions 18 (in which each group of mainly contains three lugs 18), which, in turn, form a pattern in the form of the end of the boom, i.e. the triangular arrangement with the apex of the triangle, oriented in the circumferential direction of the side wall 7.

Mainly, four of these groups of rounded protrusions 18 formed between two of the three moves of the projections 12.

Figa, 3B and 3C depict a portion of the side wall 7 of the drums having different depths (or, in other words, the longitudinal elongation), in which the main cylindrical portion 15 preferably has the same longitudinal elongation, whereas the longitudinal extension of the front part 16 having the shape of a truncated cone, is changed in accordance with the total depth of the drum. If pigs this front part 16 is very shallow and does not contain the drilled hole.

On the basis of a detailed description of the present invention described above, the experts in this area and equipment will be able to understand as a combination of individual characteristics can agree together various claims arising in respect of the use of drums for large washing machines and drying chambers with high performance, especially with a lot of momentum.

The specific location of the through holes 13 of the side wall 7 and, especially, rounded protrusions 18, the interior of the drum provides performance very intensive wash for things out of thin tissue without the risk of damage due to excessive friction between the sheets and the side wall of the drum.

You must understand that the possible changes and/or additions, which will easily be understood by experts in the field of technology, but without departing from the scope of protection as defined in the attached claims.

moreover, the side wall (7) contains perforated with many small holes (13), which are located in the top of the respective domes (14)acting on the outer side of the drum (6), as well as many of the rounded protrusions (18) without through-hole and protruding into the inner part (10) of the drum (6), with rounded tabs (18) made in the form of spherical domes and have an outside diameter that is larger than the diameter of the small through-holes (13) and domes (14).

2. Boot dryer (6) according to claim 1, in which the ratio of the outer diameter of the rounded protrusions (18) to the outer diameter of the dome (14) is in the range from 2:1 to 4:1.

3. Boot dryer (6) according to claim 1, in which the outer diameter of the rounded protrusions (18) is from 10 mm to 30 mm, preferably about 20 mm, and in which the radial height of the rounded protrusions (18) is from 1 mm to 4 mm, preferably about 2 mm.

4. Boot dryer (6) according to claim 1, containing situated around the circumference of the sequence of the individual groups of rounded protrusions (18)that form a pattern in the form of the end of the boom.

5. Boot dryer (6) according to claim 4, in which each group of rounded protrusions comprises three rounded protrusion (18), which are arranged so that they form a triangle with the apex of the triangle, oriented in the direction of p is the circumference of the side wall (7).

6. Boot dryer (6) according to claim 4, containing three moving device (12), spaced at angular step 120, and four of these groups of rounded protrusions (18) are formed respectively between the two moving ledges (12).

Boot dryer (6) according to claim 1, in which the side wall (7) of the drum is divided into two or more parts in the form of a cylinder (15) and/or truncated housing (16) by means of circular lines (17) of the bend, and the specified lines (17) bend and adjacent areas do not contain drilled holes and rounded edges.

The above housing has at least one shaped section the distance of which is increased radially from longitudinal axis in the direction to the rear wall. Centre of gravity of internal capacity formed with the hollow housing is offset to the rear wall.
