Scope and background of this invention.

This invention relates to Smoking devices, in particular to the narghile, and to the tobacco cartridges for use in such devices.

Narghile, which is sometimes referred to as Shisha, is an Oriental tobacco pipe Smoking tobacco in which the smoke is drawn through a water vessel with an elastic suction tube, which is placed in the mouth of the smoker. For hundreds of years narghile was used with small changes in their basic design. Mostly they consisted of a water vessel to contain a certain quantity of water, cups or nozzles for tobacco, to place a certain amount of tobacco and its combustion to get the smoke, and from the suction tube communicating with the vessel above the water level, to draw smoke from the nozzle to tobacco through water and a flexible suction tube into the mouth of the smoker.

The method of use of such narghile also changed little over time. Description of the preferred options

Narghile, shown in figure 1, further includes a long flexible suction tube which communicates with the interior of the vessel 2 above the level of the water in it. The various elements of the cartridge, as shown in Figs, also illustrated in more detail in figure 4-6, concerning the modification in the design of certain elements included inside the cartridge that bumblee described in detail below.

The cartridge 10, in its original condition, as shown in Figa, includes a certain amount of tobacco 11, as shown in Figs and 4, inside the vessel. The vessel consists of a base at its lower end and a metal foil on its upper end. Metal foil 13 in the initial state of the cartridge, as shown in Figa, closed so as to place all of the elements of the cartridge, but with the possibility of opening, as shown in Fig.2b, for admission to these elements, especially tobacco 11 inside the cartridge, igniting the tobacco. As will be described in more detail below, once opened the metal foil 13, as shown in Fig.2b, it can be rolled down over a Cup of tobacco 4, as shown in Figs, for insertion of the cartridge and its contents to a bowl of tobacco. Metal foil 13 and the metal base 12 described above vessel predpochtite the flax aluminum.

As shown in Figs and 4, the metal base 12 and the metal foil 13 can accommodate, in the original form of the cartridge, not only tobacco 11, but also a certain number of additional elements.

The quantity of tobacco inside the cartridge 19 has the form of a disk 11. Disk tobacco 11 is located between the lower metal disk with holes 14 and above it a metal disk with holes 15.

The cartridge 10 further includes a disk with a filter 16, which is below the lower metal disk with holes 14 for filtering smoke, pull out a disk tobacco 11 even before getting into the water inside the container 2. The filter 16 may be made of any of the filter materials that are now commonly used in cigarettes with a filter for filtering cigarette smoke.

The cartridge 10 further includes, on the upper metal disk with holes 15, the disk 17 of combustible material such as coal or wood, capable of when ignited to turn into a glowing coal for burning disk tobacco 11, and thus to produce smoke, which is inhaled by the smoker. Subsequently, the disk, which produces coal 17 is at the upper end of the stack of disks placed inside the cartridge will be lit as soon as the metal foil 13 of the vessel to be opened and wrapped around the Cup for tobacco 4, when the toner cartridges is attached to the narghile.

Figa-3b illustrate a method of use of the cartridge 10 to the nozzle for tobacco 4 narghile. Producing coal element 17 can be ignited, which in turn ignites the disk tobacco 11, forcing him to give the smoke. Thus, the resulting smoke is pulled through a metal disk with holes 14 located below the disc filter 16 and through the through holes 12A (5) in the metal base 12 inside the water vessel 2. Thus, the smoke passes through a water vessel 2 before it enters into the suction tube 6 and before tightening the mouth of the smoker through the mouthpiece 7. As indicated earlier, the concentration of the inhaled smoke can vary regulating valve 9, which controls the intake air 8.

Figure 4-6 illustrates the light of changes in the design of metal discs with holes corresponding to the disks 14 and 15 on Figs. The remaining elements of the cartridge shown in Figure 4 are the same as those described above regarding Figure 2, and, therefore, have the same reference numbers for ease of understanding.

Thus, in the variant illustrated in figs.4-6, the holes 24A, placed on a metal disk 24 also serve as through-holes for the smoke obtained from the disk tobacco 11, when ignited. Annular channels 24b in a metal disk with holes serve for accumulation of any liquid or dripping from the lit tobacco 11. Drops of fluid thus trapped inside the cartridge to clear the place with the cartridge, instead of infiltration into the vessel 2. This arrangement reduces the frequency at which the water inside the vessel 2 requires replacement.

The upper metal disc 25 preferably have the same construction with the lower metal disk 24 to reduce initial equipment costs, as well as inventory costs. Upper disc with holes 25 in figure 4 (as well as 15 on Figs) may be omitted completely, resulting in the disk, which produces coal 17, will be directly in contact with the disk tobacco 11 in the initial state of the cartridge (Figa), as well as in its open position during use (Fig 1, 3).

While the invention has been described in a particular way in relation to cartridge for use with narghile will be appreciated, if the cartridge or its elements can preferably be used in other Smoking devices, such as a regular pipe smoker. 10. The tobacco cartridge according to claim 4, characterized in that the cartridge further includes a filter that is located under the specified amount of tobacco in it.

11. The tobacco cartridge according to claim 1, characterized in that the said vessel further comprises a filter located under the amount of tobacco in it.

12. The tobacco cartridge according to claim 1, characterized in that pointed to by the first vessel further includes a large amount of combustible material, made with the possibility, when ignited, producing a glowing coal to burning tobacco inside the cartridge.

13. Smoking device that includes a Cup for tobacco for the premises the amount of tobacco and lit to get smoke and tobacco cartridge according to claim 1, placed in that Cup for tobacco.
