FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: friction item consists of metal frame with holes and of friction element moulded-on to it. The friction element is made of polymer friction composite and is equipped with lugs arranged inside holes. Hardness of composite in lugs is less, than in a working part of the friction element.

EFFECT: reduced probability of lugs and item proper fracture under changing thermal loads during friction item operation; increased strength of lugs to impact mechanic effect.

 

The invention relates to the field of engineering, namely for friction products containing a reinforcing metal frame, such as pads of disc brakes of cars, friction products for various machines and equipment, etc.

Analogous to the claimed invention is a friction article containing a metal frame and reformovanii to him polymer composite friction element, the layer which is adjacent to the frame, additionally reinforced expanded metal sheet metal, fixed on the frame (see RF patent №2005619, IPC 29D 9/00, 1994). The essential features of similar "metal frame, reformovanii to him frictional element coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analog is the complexity of manufacture of the product, due to the need to commit additional reinforcing expanded metal sheet (for example, by bolting, welding, and others), as well as, in some cases, the inability to manufacture products (for example, having small dimensions and thickness of brake pads of disc brakes subcompact cars).

Another analogue of the claimed invention is a friction article containing a reinforcing metal frame with holes and reformovanii to him polymer to the position of the friction element, equipped with protrusions corresponding to the holes in the frame and placed inside the holes, the height of the protrusions corresponds to the depth of the holes (see MBO and other Asbestos technical products. The catalogue. M: Tsniiteneftehim, 1984, SS, 75, 79). The essential features of the prototype metal frame with holes, reformovanii to him made of polymer friction of the composite friction element with tabs inside of the holes coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analog is insufficient bonding strength of the frame and the friction element to the characteristic of the friction nodes efforts, shifting friction element relative to the frame under variable thermal loads (sequential heating and cooling products). Strength friction products similar to these efforts (deformation) of the shift caused by the adhesion of the material of the friction element to the surface of the metal frame, and strength "slice" of the projections of the friction element. The strength of "the cut" depends not only on the strength of the friction material. Due to the fact that the tabs of the friction element are located in the holes in the frame without a gap (in the moulding-on), and their height corresponding to the depth of holes, there is no possibility of compensation of the stresses arising in conditions of variable thermal loads due to the difference of coefficients of thermal expansion of the metal frame and plastic composite, which is made of a friction element, and the possibility of compensation is absent from both of the projections of the polymer composite, which is surrounded by a metal over the entire height, and the holes in the frame, because the walls of the holes are in contact with the protrusions of the polymer composite over the entire depth. As a result, in conditions of variable thermal loads can crack the tabs, the spalling of material, etc. that reduce the strength of the protrusions "on the cut" and makes dangerous the further operation of the product.

The prototype of the claimed invention is a friction article containing a reinforcing metal frame with holes and reformovanii to him frictional element with tabs inside the holes of the frame, the density of polymer friction of the composite in the projections is less than the density of the remaining parts of the friction element (see RF patent №2265759, IPC7F16D 69/02. 2005). The essential features of the prototype metal frame with holes and reformovanii to him frictional element with tabs of nutriture" match the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of the prototype is the increased possibility of moisture and other substances in a more loose (more porous) composite, which is made from the tabs in the holes of the frame, which in the future may, at the heating and cooling (freezing) moisture and other substances to cause the destruction of the projections and, accordingly, the product.

The task, which is aimed by the invention, is to reduce the possibility of the destruction of the projections and the product under variable thermal loads during operation friction products. Another technical result, which can provide the claimed invention is to increase the resilience of the projections and, accordingly, the product as a whole to impact mechanical impact by reducing the brittleness of the material of the protrusions.

To achieve the technical result in friction product, containing a metal frame with holes and reformovanii to him frictional element with tabs inside of the holes, the friction element is made of friction polymer composite, the hardness of which the protrusions is less than the working part of the friction element.

This reduces the possibility of moisture and other substances in the composite projections, reduces the possibility of cracking and chipping of the edges and, consequently, increases the strength of the connection of the armature and the friction element. The implementation of the protrusions is less solid, owing to their greater plasticity to reduce internal stresses in the ledge and thus reduce the possibility of crack formation and fracture surface and body of the lug, that is also increases the strength of the connection of the armature and the friction element to the load during operation.
