SUBSTANCE: plate of sprinkler of herring-bone structure, which is made from polymer material, for example PVC, includes ruffles in the form of continuous wave; at that, each ruffle is made in the form of zigzag-shaped sequence of short channels similar as to length and section and oriented towards each other at equal angle of not less than 90° and not more than 180°, and ratio of height of ruffle to length of rib of short channel along zigzag-shaped guide is at least 2.5. On the plate base of sprinkler of herring-bone structure there assembled are various versions of sprinkler unit of cooling tower. As per the first and the second version of design the sprinkler unit includes many vertically installed and alternating plates of herring-bone structure and flat plates with formation of zigzag-shaped channels identical as to height of sprinkler unit. As per the second version of design, in sprinkler unit the even corrugated plates of sprinkler of herring-bone structure are turned about horizontal axis through 180° relative to even corrugated plates of sprinkler of herring-bone structure. As per the third version, sprinkler unit includes only plates of herring-bone structure, which are turned relative to each other through 180° and installed so that they have point contact between each other at point of convergence of zigzag-shaped ribs and along each zigzag-shaped rib, and at that, they form through cross zigzag-shaped channels in vertical and horizontal directions, and connecting tubes are installed in places of point contact along zigzag-shaped ribs of corrugated plates of sprinkler of herring-bone structure.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing water cooling efficiency in sprinkler of cooling tower by enlarging inter-phase surface.

The invention relates to the field of recycling water supply, namely the structural elements of the towers and other apparatus for heat and mass transfer between liquid and gaseous media, in particular to elements sprinklers and vodoulaviteli cooling towers.

Known unit of cooling tower fill, consisting of vertical corrugated sheets with cut corrugations that when the bond between them form a vertical tube-like channels (RF patent No. 2300067, MKI F28F 25/08, 27.05.2007).

Also known sprinklers from polymeric materials, such as irrigation device made in the form of a block of plastic pipes (see, for example, patent RF №2141616, MKI F28F 25/00, 20.11 1999; RF patent №2141617, MKI F28F 25/08, 20.11.1999).

The common disadvantage of these structures is their high aerodynamic resistance and uneven cooling of the water area of the tower, due to the closedness of the tubular channels of sprinklers.

A known design of leaves of cooling tower fill, containing corrugations in the form of continuous waves, located at an angle to the edge of the sheet (the United Kingdom patent No. 1177124, F28C 3/00, 1970; U.S. patent No. 4668443, NCI 261-1123, 1987; RF patent №2001375, MKI F28F 25/08, 1993).

A common disadvantage of these constructions sheets of the fill, as practice shows operation is the emergence and the persistence of the jet stream of fluid in which Madinah bumps, which reduces the intensity of heat and mass transfer.

A known design of leaves of cooling tower fill, containing sinusoidal corrugations located at the height of the sheet in the form of two or more sections, inclined in one direction from the vertical (RF patent No. 2222758, MKI F28F 25/08, 27.01.2004; RF patent №2257521, MKI F28F 25/08, 27.07.2005).

The presence of warped flute, and with an inclination in one direction from the vertical, reduces the transit time of water on the tile height of the fill, and thus reduces the efficiency of heat exchange.

A known design of sheet fill containing sinusoidal corrugations underneath opposite angles to the edge of the sheet (patent RF №2109242, MKI F28F 25/08, 20.04.1998; RF patent №2306519, MKI F28F 25/08, 20.09.2007).

The main disadvantage of the data sheets of the fill is of considerable length of inclined sections that triggers a jet stream of water in the troughs of the corrugation.

Closest to the invention to the technical essence and the achieved result is a list of cooling tower fill, containing sinusoidal corrugations located at the height of the sheet in the form of two or more sections with opposite angles of inclination to the horizontal, and with decreasing values of these angles on the sections from the bottom up while maintaining the height and width of the corrugations, the corners at the tops and bottoms are reduced (parenth No. 2217676, MCI F28F 25/08, 27.11.2003). The invention adopted for the prototype.

The above-described execution of the sheet of the fill has certain disadvantages, namely, the reduction of the flow area of the channels and sharp bends of short channels on the height of the sheet, which increases the aerodynamic resistance of the fill. The reduction of the angles of inclination relative to the horizontal short channels leads to a substantial lengthening, which provokes the appearance of the jet stream, which also leads to reduction in the efficiency of heat exchange.

The invention solves the problem of increasing the efficiency of the cooling water in the cooling tower fill by increasing the specific interfacial surface, respectively, and the contact time of the phases.

To achieve this technical result sheet fill herringbone patterns, made of a polymeric material, such as PVC, contains corrugations in the form of continuous waves, with each corrugation is made in the form of a zigzag sequence of equal length and cross-section of short channels, which are oriented to each other at the same angle not less than 90° and less than 180°, and the ratio of the height of the corrugations to the edge length of a short channel-zag guide is at least 2, 5.

Known irrigation device made in the form of vertical blocks or under what aklanon to the vertical plastic tubes of various shapes in cross section (Gladkov, VA, Kucherenko DI water Recycling. (Water cooling system). - Moscow: stroiizdat, 1980; RF patent №2309356, MKI F28F 25/08, 27.10.2007; RF patent №2317502, MKI F28F 25/08, 20.02.2008).

The disadvantage of this type of blocks sprinklers are negligible specific interfacial surface and a short contact time of the phases and, as a consequence, the low efficiency of the heat transfer.

Known blocks of sprinklers, composed of sheets of rectilinear corrugations having a cross-sectional view of a continuous wave and along the vertical edges (RF patent No. 2300067, MKI F28F 25/08, 27.05.2007) or at an angle thereto (patent RF №2043600, MKI F28F 25/08, 10.09.1995; RF patent №2133427,MKI F28F 25/08, 20.07.1999).

The famous tower fill, consisting of blocks arranged in packages from installed vertically corrugated sheets arranged at an angle to the edges of the sheet parallel corrugations, each corrugated sheet contains two groups of parallel corrugations, converging in the middle of the sheet, the corrugations of the left half of the sheet is bent to the right from the vertical corrugations of the right half of the sheet is inclined to the left from the vertical, and collected in the package corrugated sheets form in the cross section of the diamond-shaped channels(RF patent No. 2306519, MKI F28F 25/08, 20.09.2007).

The main disadvantage of the fill is of considerable length channels that triggers strain the th flow of water in the troughs of the corrugation.

More effective from the standpoint of heat and mass transfer, are blocks of sprinklers in which the corrugations of adjacent sheets are angled to each other (patent RF №2008607, MKI F28F 25/08, 28.02.1994; RF patent №2122696, MKI F28F 25/08, 27.11.1998; RF patent №2132032,MKI F28F 25/08, 20.06.1999; RF patent №2145699, MKI F28F 25/08, 20.02.2000).

From above together last peer groups closest to the invention to the technical essence and the achieved result is a cooling tower fill, containing sheets with corrugations in the form of continuous waves, which are in contact with each other along the crests of the corrugation with the formation of channels along the height of the fill, while the corrugations are made at an angle to the edges of the sheets, the corrugations of adjacent sheets can be oriented in the same direction and at an angle to each other (patent RF №2132032,MKI F28F 25/08, 20.06.1999).

A common shortcoming of this type of blocks of sprinklers is the existence of the jet stream of the liquid in the troughs of the corrugation, which reduces the intensity of heat and mass transfer, as the basis unit of the fill is formed from corrugated sheets forming the assembled block the channels of different forms, but all with a straight guide.

The objective of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the heat transfer and the rigidity of the block of the fill.

Under the first scenario execution unit technical result dostigaetsya, in block fill, with alternating vertical flat and corrugated sheets of fill herringbone patterns, made of a polymeric material, for example PVC, and interconnected by means of connecting tubes, the unit contains many sheets of fill herringbone patterns, each corrugated sheet herringbone patterns on the zigzag lines of the ribs in contact with the flat sheet forming identical zigzag channels in a block height of the nozzle and is connected to one of the flat sheets of rigid connection, for example by welding.

According to the second variant the execution of the technical result is achieved by the fact that in the block fill even corrugated sheets fill herringbone patterns rotated around a horizontal axis by 180° relative to the odd corrugated sheets to fill herringbone patterns.

Sheet 1 (Fig 1) fill herringbone structure is a solid structure and contains corrugations 2 in the form of continuous waves from one edge of the sheet to the other. Each corrugation 2 made in the form of zig-zag sequence of equal length and cross-section of short channels 3, oriented to each other at equal angles. Such mutual angular position of the short channels 3 and determines the structure of the sheet fill - herringbone structure. The sheets 1 are collected in a vertical position in the block with the formation of multiple zigzag channels. The unit, made by the third variant, due to the presence of cross-zigzag channels 5 allows to obtain more uniform distribution of cooling water over the entire area of the sheets 1. Restrictions imposed by the angle of convergence of short channels and the ratio of the height of the corrugations to the edge length of a short channel-zag guide to reduce wind resistance blocks of the fill. Flat sheets 4, used for the first and second embodiments of block fill, provide additional rigidity of the blocks.

Thus, the use of the invention allows to improve an important technological and operational parameters of the fill: first, p is increase the amount of cooling water, secondly, to reduce aerodynamic drag and, thirdly, to increase the rigidity of the structure, and hence its durability.

1. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling water supply, namely to structural elements of cooling towers and other units for heat-mass exchange between liquid and gaseous media. A cooling tower sprinkler consists of packaged vertically set sheets with parallel crimps which are fixed in respect to each other by spacing hubs and fastening elements passed through the latter so that to form a zigzag passage between the sheets. The cross-section of the crimps is of broken line shape forming a faceted corrugated sheet. The broken line sections forming the sheet crimps in the cross-section are of the same length and are inclined to each other at the angle of 60°, the broken line sections forming tops and valleys of the crimps are parallel to each other. The broken line sections forming the crimp tops of the one sheet are placed in the same plane as the broken line sections forming the crimp valleys of the adjacent sheet. The maximal distance between the parallel broken line sections forming crimps of adjacent sheets amounts to 0.87 of the length of the sections forming the sheet crimps and the minimal distance between the parallel broken line sections forming crimps of adjacent sheets amounts to 0.5 of the maximal distance between the parallel sections of the adjacent sheets forming the sheet crimps. SUBSTANCE: proposed element for sprinkler or water catcher for a cooling tower is a meshed shell with a triangular profile. The tips of the triangular profile are rounded with radius of 8…10 mm. The side edges of the profile are interweaved with wavy threads. On one of the side edges, a solid plate is welded, with thickness less than the thickness of the threads. When assembling the sprinkler or water catcher block, elements in neighbouring layers are installed with the solid plate facing right or left, and displaced by 5…15 mm. SUBSTANCE: plate comprises flat section at the top edge of the plate provided with longitudinal stiffening rib and sinusoidal corrugation arranged over the height of the plate and made of two or more sections with opposite inclination of corrugations. SUBSTANCE: proposed cooling tower sprinkler unit contains sieve members made of polymeric material installed in rows at different angles relative to members in adjacent rows. Said members in rows are installed at angle of 70°-120° to horizon, end faces of members being connected by welding along four side surfaces of unit which is made of height within 300 and 1500 nm and width within 500 and 2000 mm. Members in rows are installed at distance of 0.5-2.0 of member height. Members are made with different cross section and are arranged in definite compositions, for instance, round and triangular sections, or triangular and rhombic sections. Fire-proofing compound and/or biological protection additions and/or additions to decrease water repellency are introduced into material of members.

EFFECT: provision of high efficiency of heat-mass exchanger at different operating conditions of cooling tower and operation reliability.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises sprinkler members formed of thermoplastic material, movable plates provided with heating members and arranged between ends of the sprinkler member. Device is formed as two sections with plates having thickness of 10-50 mm, wherein the central plate arranged between sections is movable and provided with heating member. Device also has pullout containers located in the sections and adapted for receiving sprinkler members, screens of release heat-resistant material connected to plate surfaces facing ends of the sprinkler members.

EFFECT: increased productivity, prevention of adhesion between sprinkler member ends and plates, provision of pipe welding operations under control.

FIELD: the invention may be used in systems of recycling water supply of plant facilities for cooling of technologically heated water with atmospheric air in counter-flow cooling towers and may be also used in chemical, metallurgical and other sectors of industry.

SUBSTANCE: the essence of the invention is that the block of the cooling tower's sprinkler has three-dimensional elements which are made of cellular thermoplastic polymeric material. The block of the cooling tower's sprinkler is a hollow cylinder with an exterior diameter of 500 mm, length of 500-1000 mm made by way of fastening the exterior net with cell's diameter of 8x8 mm and the interior net with cell's diameter of 15x15 mm with frame rings between the nets. The block is installed with its side surface to the flows of water and air. In the next layers the block is turned round to 90% relatively to the block installed in the predecessor layer. For fastening the block 5 frame rings made out of polymeric tubes with diameter of 15 mm are used. At that the nets and the rings are fastened with a synthetic cord or polymeric fasteners.

EFFECT: the invention provides simplicity in manufacturing, convenience in mounting, allows to increase effectiveness of heat-mass exchange, to move off sediments without preceding dismantling of the sprinkler's block.

FIELD: heat power engineering, metallurgy, oil refining, petroleum chemistry and other branches of industry using circulating water supply, applicable for enhancing the efficiency of water cooling in operation as a sprinkler and for reduction of its irrevocable loss in operation as a water catcher in cooling towers.

SUBSTANCE: the packing for a heat-exchange apparatus has units with long-sized bulky components with a lattice shell enveloped by closed surface contours and fastened in the units by inner frameworks formed by fixing components passing through the bulky components. The mentioned fixing components of the inner frameworks are made in the form of a single flexible core or pipe, or belt repeatedly alternating the through penetration of the unit with bending through its closed surface of the stiffness profile, the ratio of the radius of bending to the largest dimension of the profile of the bulky component equals 0.1-10, and the beginning and end of the fixing component are fastened on the closed surface contour of the unit stiffness. At such a structure of the units their assembly is considerably simplified due to the use of a single flexible fixing component, a strong coupling between the bulky components with the lattice shell, fixing components of the inner frameworks and closed surface contours of stiffness is provided. The availability of bendings between the fixing components of the inner frameworks and the closed surface contours of stiffness forms bulky, flexible complexes in the units uniformly redistributing the arising external mechanical loads between themselves. The bulky components with the lattice shell are fully unloaded and not subjected to deformation and shrinkage, and reflect and crush the water splashes in operation as a sprinkler, effectively catch the water drops carrier away by the air flow in operation as a water catcher.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of packing operation by 15-20%.

Proposed block can be prefabricated and allows for organizing sprinkler with vertical or inclined ducts within cooling tower, affording uniform air distribution throughout entire sectional area of sprinkler unit, enhancing its cooling capacity, and for its easy installation in cooling tower.

SUBSTANCE: proposed packing for heat- and mass-exchange apparatus includes vertical screened sheets made from intersecting fibers forming meshes in between them. Proposed packing is made by hot casting in form of corrugated lattice-type structure in form of parallelogram in plan whose longer sides have length of 300-1800 mm and shorter sides have length of 150-1500 mm. Section of fibers of packing has form of polygonal geometric figure, circle or tear-shaped figure at area of 0.5-50 mm2; intersection of fibers forms meshes in form of parallelogram at area of 25-2500 mm2. Corrugation pitch is equal to 20-100 mm and angle of inclination of corrugations relative to longer sides of packing is equal to 20-90°. Besides that, section of corrugations has form of acute-angled zigzag figure or zigzag trapezoidal figure at corrugation height of 20-90 mm. Shorter sides made in form of stiffeners have three holes each, 5-20 mm in diameter made along central vertical axis symmetrically relative to horizontal central axis of packing.

EFFECT: reduction of aerodynamic drag of packing; enhanced efficiency of heat- and mass-exchange.

SUBSTANCE: the invention may be used as the constituent heat-mass-exchange equipment at the direct contact between the gas and the liquid, in particular, in the industrial water cooling towers for cooling the circulating water. The water-cooling tower sprinkling device is made in the form of the module out of the layers of the polymeric mesh shells made cylindrical and arranged in all the horizontal layers in parallel to each other and welded on the ends of the module among themselves in the places of their touch. At that each mesh shell additionally contains in its volume the vane swirlers representing the polymeric cylinders, on the internal side of which there are vanes. Besides the vane swirlers may be rigidly fixed in the volume of the mesh shell by the welding or fixers. The invention solves the problem to increase effectiveness of the heat-mass exchange process.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased effectiveness of the heat-mass exchange process.
