The technical FIELD TO WHICH the INVENTION RELATES.

The present invention relates to anti-skid device mounted on the external surface of the tire of the drive wheel of the motor vehicle to prevent it from sliding on ice and/or snow road surface. The proposed anti-skid device is modular, i.e. it consists of many modules, made with the possibility of connection with each other by choice for education is essentially a chain located around the circumference of the outer surface of the tire. Modular snow chains in restrictive part of claim 1 of the formula of the invention are disclosed in U.S. patent No. 2276640 and No. 2687759.

The LEVEL of TECHNOLOGY

Well-known chains and other anti-slip devices, which are mounted around the circumference of the outer surface of the tire or the tire tread of the vehicle. Also known modular anti-skid devices that contain modules, mutually connected to each other around the circumference of the tire.

As traditional snow chains and modular devices contain anti-skid side parts, which interact at least with the sides of the tires to ensure their proper and safe installation centered with respect to the tire position.

Another disadvantage of the known circuits or anti-skid devices is that since they have to interact at least with the sides of the tire transverse size must match the width of the tires on which they are installed.

This disadvantage causes the need to produce a large assortment of various commercially available circuits or anti-skid devices in accordance with different sizes of tires. The aim of the present invention is to provide anti-skid device for installation on the bus, the manufacture of which is simple and economical, which has no size, is strictly associated with the transverse dimensions of the tire, and which does not cause damage to the lateral sides of the tire on which it is installed and/or available alloy wheels or caps.

To overcome the disadvantages of the known analogues and achieve these and other objectives and advantages of the applicant has designed, tested and implemented the present invention.

The INVENTION

The present invention is set forth and characterized in the independent claim, while the dependent paragraphs provide a description of the other distinctive priznaki is or variants of the basic idea of the invention.

This advantage is essentially eliminates the dependence of the size of the modules from the transverse size of the tire, allows the anti-skid device with a limited number of commercially available sizes with the same coverage range of the width of the tire, thus reducing the overall cost of manufacture and storage units.

Obviously, since there are no lateral part, the anti-skid device according to the present invention does not cause any wear or damage as the side surfaces of the tires, alloy wheels or caps.

Another advantage of the present invention lies in the simplicity and limited number of parts forming each module. In fact, each module consists of only two parts that can be produced commercially and can be easily connected with each other, for example, using the covering, and covered the connection.

In the main the additional embodiment of the present invention clutch means, protruding from the molded plates facing in both possible directions of travel bus, which provides essentially the same traction with the road surface when the vehicle both forward and backward.
