FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to friction assembly units and parts incorporated with automotive equipment, various machinery and units. Friction article comprises polymer friction element glued to metal substrate with rough surface on the side friction element is glued onto. Height of substrate rough surface irregularities and glue layer thickness are selected from relationship where Rz is said height of irregularities and L is glue layer thickness.

EFFECT: improved operating performances due to better adhesion of friction element to metal substrate resulted from optimised irregularity height-to-glue layer thickness ratio.

 

The invention relates to the field of engineering, namely for friction products containing polymeric composite friction element, combined with a metal frame, and operated in the friction nodes automotive vehicles, various machinery and equipment (pads, disc and drum brakes of automobiles, tractors and other).

Analogous to the claimed invention is a friction device, including a metal frame and polymer composite friction element between the metal frame and polymer composite friction element placed the adhesive layer, the fixing element to the frame (see patent SU # 1277491, IPC B22F 7/04, 1994). The essential features of similar "metal frame, polymer composite friction element, the adhesive layer coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analog is the possibility of disengagement of the friction element from the metal frame under impact loads during operation of the product in case of insufficient adhesion of the adhesive layer to the metal frame.

The prototype of the claimed invention is a friction product (pad disc brake)that includes a polymer composite friction element fixed with adhesive layer on a metal frame, Ernest which side frictional element is made rough terrain, educated disjoint lines of depressions and protrusions, alternating in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the pad (see patent RU No. 2086444, IPC F16D 69/04, 1997). The disadvantage of the prototype is also the possibility of disengagement of the friction element from the metal frame under impact loads during operation of the product in case of insufficient adhesion of the adhesive layer to the metal frame due to the lack of an optimal ratio between the height of the roughness profile, roughness and thickness of the adhesive layer.

The task, which is aimed by the invention is the improvement of the operational characteristics of the product by reducing the possibility of disengagement of the friction element from the metal frame under impact loads during use of the product by optimizing the ratio of the height of the roughness and thickness of the adhesive layer.

To achieve the technical result in friction products, including polymer composite friction element fixed with adhesive layer on a metal frame, the surface shall be which side of the friction element is made rough, the height of the irregularities of the rough surface profile and thickness of the adhesive layer is selected from the relation

SUBSTANCE: brake unit consists of rotating element and non-rotating brake component. The brake component consists of a rigid plate of the base, of an erasable friction material and of lugs projecting from the support plate in a layer of friction material. Each of lugs has an end in direct vicinity from surface of friction material. The ends of the lugs and external surface are simultaneously interact with contact surface of the rotating element, when the brake component transits into a position of braking for the first time. Friction material and the lugs together create friction force actuating the rotating element at the first contact between their surfaces. The procedure for actuation of the brake unit consists in driving the rotating element, in assembling the brake component in direct vicinity from the rotating element at a certain distance from contact surface, in actuating the brake component and in creating friction by bringing the ends of the lugs and external surface of friction material with contact surface of the rotating element into interaction. Thus friction material and the lugs facilitate generation of required friction force at the first interaction of their surfaces with contact surface of the rotating element.
