Wax composition for restoring surfaces of vehicles
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wax composition for protecting surfaces of vehicles from atmospheric effects and is also a car care product, particularly for filling various defects on surfaces of vehicles. The composition contains a substance with a wax structure, a pigment and liquid silicon polymer material. The wax material used is carnauba wax or ceresin wax. The liquid polymer material used is polymethylsiloxane. The composition also contains mica and abietic acid.
EFFECT: obtaining a composition which has a long storage period and has high plasticity and adhesion, as well as water-repellent and anticorrosion properties.
The invention relates to the protection of vehicle surfaces from atmospheric conditions and at the same time is a means of car care products, in particular for sealing of various defects on the surface of the vehicle.
Known composition for protective coatings with polishing properties (patent RF №2031917)containing montanuy wax, paraffin oil, wool fat, stearic acid, polyethylsiloxane liquid, aqueous ammonia, white spirit, water. The disadvantage of this composition is the impossibility of long-term storage of the composition, because it contains fat of animal origin does not have a long shelf life.
Closest to the invention to the technical essence and the achieved result is a wax composition described in U.S. patent No. 5821291 Pencil for filling, masking and sealing scratches on the painted surface. The composition contains a substance wax patterns, pigment, and a liquid silicone polymer material in the following proportions: Carnauba wax 5%; montanuy wax 35%; paraffin 35%; pigment 13%; liquid silicone resin material 12%.
This composition has insufficient ductility, which does not provide high-quality filling deep scratches and chips, not has high adhesion with the surface of the body vehicles is a, and does not provide the desired anti-corrosive action of the drug. In addition, it uses expensive materials. The color scheme is no different variety, in no particular color with metallic luster (metallic).
The purpose of this invention is to provide a wax composition for sealing of various defects on the surface of the vehicle, easy to use, has a long shelf life, with waterproof and anti-corrosion properties, and compared with the prototype, higher plasticity and adhesion.
This is achieved by a composition comprising the substance of the wax patterns, a pigment and a liquid silicone polymer material, characterized in that the wax material is Carnauba wax and ceresin, as a liquid polymer material is used polymethylsiloxane, and, in addition, the composition of the added mica and abietic acid with the following ratio of components, wt.%:

Formulated with Carnauba wax is the hardest and sustainable natural waxes. Materials using Carnauba wax be thanks to it a more heat resistant and practicality. The excessive hardness of the wax is reduced in the inventive composition through the use of ceresin. Ceresin due to the crystalline structure, has good viscosity, therefore giving higher ductility of the final composition. The content of these substances it is in the range of 30-40% is optimal, since the content of Carnauba wax more than 40% of the final product becomes fragile that bad when filling defects on the restored surface. And when the content of Carnauba wax less than 30% of the final product becomes more fusible and soft - this reduces the quality of the reconstructed surface. When the content of ceresin less than 30% reduced adhesive properties and flexibility of the claimed composition, and when the content of ceresin more than 40% of the coating composition on the restored surface is difficult due to the soft structure of the composition. For imparting metallic luster and evenly the ti application of the composition to the surface of the vehicle in the composition is injected mica. As mica may be used Muscovite or any other type of mica produced for the paint industry. The lower limit of the quantitative composition of the mica was 8.8%. A smaller number will have no impact on the uniformity of application of the composition. The upper limit of the content in the composition of the mica is 18.8%. If the content of mica more than 18.8 per cent, will be violated adhesion of the final composition, it will become brittle. As a technological additive is introduced to the silicon - organic polymer - poly-methylsiloxane in the amount of 0.2%. He is known as a substance holocause structure and interoperability of the various ingredients, and is also used to impart water-repellent properties of the final composition. With fewer polymethylsiloxane would be reduced corrosion resistance of the inventive composition. To improve the adhesion of the composition to the surface of the vehicle is introduced abietic acid. The percentage of 10% is necessary and sufficient for the best "sticking" of the composition to the surface of the vehicle.
In order to give the composition a color that matches the color of the restored surface, adds a variety of pigments, both organic and inorganic or complex origin, and their mixtures. The properties of the composition from the use of various pigment is not changed. To make the composition, for example, black color is used, such a pigment like carbon black. The number of carbon black in the range from 1.0 to 11.0% depends on the saturation of the black color, and in combination with a white pigment (in the same range) color varies from light gray to black. Similarly, the use of other pigments or a combination of them will give another desired color.
The durability of the structure, its resistance to harmful environmental influences (humidity, low temperature, salt fog) is provided by the content of ceresin.
The technology of producing a wax composition is as follows.
In dispersant load all components, except pigments, melted them, and stirred at the temperature t=100°C for 2 hours. Then melt add pigments and continue stirring for another 20 minutes for a thorough distribution of all components in a homogeneous liquid mass. Then it is poured into a cylindrical metal mold, cooled and squeezed out of shape. The finished wax crayons wrapped in foil or put in special cases.
Using pencils of the proposed structure is as follows.
Select the pencil in a color that matches the color of the treated surface. Then, pressing the arandas, to apply the composition to the surface, producing movement pencil along scratched, or chipped to until all the scratch or chip is not filled by the composition of the pencil. The excess of the composition above the painted surface, you can wipe with a cloth.
Use in the inventive composition is less expensive and scarce components - Carnauba wax and ceresin - allows you to reduce the price of the wax composition, not reducing and improving those properties that are particularly important in the climatic conditions of the Russian Federation (the use of the composition at low temperatures, in conditions of salt fog).
To study the properties of the claimed composition and to confirm the advantages of the claimed composition before prototype, the Applicant appealed to the LLC Expert Bureau" Izhevsk".
In LLC "Expert Bureau Izhevsk" expert Fedorova T.V. studies have been conducted of the properties of the composition, developed by the author and by the Applicant of this composition Shapoval Sergey Viktorovich. For clarity, simultaneously with the study of the properties of the pencil of the proposed structure were investigated properties of automotive restoration wax pencil "Turtle wax"produced by the company "Concept Chemicals & Coating Ltd." in the UK, the composition of which corresponds to the composition of our prototype. The pencil of the proposed structure, with the STS which were studied LLC "Expert Bureau" Izhevsk", was as follows:
Carnauba wax - 30%

Polymethylsiloxane - 0,2%;

As ceresin in this composition was used ceresin according to GOST 2488-79. As a pigment for imparting to the composition of the black color used carbon black product of the enterprise JSC "Pigment", Tambov. Mica wet grinding according to GOST 19571-74 - product enterprises LLC "Batholith", Moscow. Polymethylsiloxane - CDD CJSC "Armacham", Moscow, Russia according to GOST 13032-77. Abietic acid - CJSC "Labtech", Moscow. Carnauba wax - JSC "EuroChem", Moscow.
Studies confirmed the high quality adhesive and anti-corrosion properties of the proposed structure and its resistance to adverse environmental influences - humidity, low temperature, salt fog.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed here invention refers to procedure of metal surface coating. According to the procedure there is coated metal surface of substrate at least partially made out of steel. Also in the procedure there is used a substance corresponding to a varnish which forms a layer preventing scale build-up. As a binding the substance contains hydrolysate-condensates of at least one silane and also at least one metal filler and solvent. The substance is applied on surface, dried and thermally hardened, whereupon substrate with coated surface is subjected to thermal treatment at pressure. Also here is disclosed a part of a car, particularly the part of a car body with coating applied on at least part of surface in accordance with the above described procedure.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of layer preventing scale build-up.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to cold setting protective coatings for electrically insulating protection of wires, metal structures, metal articles, ceramics and plastic. The proposed organosilicon composition consists of the following (wt %): polymethylphenylsiloxane (15-60) in form of an industrial compound KO-921 or KO-922 or KO-923 or their mixture, fine-grained metal oxides (5-20), solvent (10-30) - toluene or o-xylene and azeotropic extractant (25-50) - tetramethylsilane or a propane-butane mixture. Proposed also is a method of preparing the said composition in form of an aerosol.
EFFECT: design of a composition made from industrial components with easy technical application for making coatings with electrically insulating and anticorrosion properties at temperatures ranging from -70°C to +250°C and having strength and adhesion properties.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal material with treated surface free from chrome. Metal material has the surface to which there applied and dried is water-based matter so that composite coating is obtained. Water-based matter includes silica-containing organic compound (W) obtained by mixing silaned binding substance (A) containing one amine group in molecule/and silaned binding substance (B) containing one glycidyl group in molecule, at weight ratio of solid matters [(A)/(B)] 0.5- 1.7, and the molecule of which has at least two functional groups (a) of the formula -SiR1 R2 R3, in which R1, R2 and R3 represent alkoxyl group or hydroxyl group; at least one represents alkoxyl group and one or more at least of the same type of hydrophilic functional groups (b) chosen from hydroxyl group which is different from the group, which can be included in functional group (a)and amine groups with molecular-weight average of 1000-10000, at least one fluor compound (X) chosen from fluorotitanium acid or fluorozirconium acid, phosphoric acid (Y), and vanadium compound (Z). Weight ratio of solid matters [(X)/(W)] of the coating is 0.02 - 0.07, [(Y)/(W)] is 0.03- 0.12, [(Z)/(W)] is 0.05- 0.17, and [(Z)/(X)] is 1.3- 6.0.
EFFECT: material meets the requirements for corrosion resistance, heat resistance, resistance to fingerprints, conductivity, capability of coating application, and has resistance to blackening during operation.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is a binding coating which is formed on the surface of a base or priming film before formation of an antifouling coating film based on organosiloxane from moisture-hardening composition based on organosiloxane containing (b1) organopolysiloxane with condensable functional groups on both ends of molecules and/or (b2) a hardening composition obtained from contact processing with heating or without heating component (b1) and filling pigment selected from a group consisting of silicon dioxide, calcium carbonate, talc, mica, clay, kaolin and barium sulphate and (b3) a silane coupling agent. Also proposed is a composite coating film, where on the surface of the said binding coating a finishing coating is formed from a hardening three-component type composition based on organopolysiloxane, where the said finishing coating contains (c1) a main component which contains component (b1), (c2) a hardening component containing tetraalkoxysiliate or its condensate, and (c3) a component which accelerates hardening, containing a metal compound. A composite coating film is proposed, where an epoxy based seal coating, the binding coating and the finishing coating are formed in that order on the surface of an old antifouling coating film (G). The proposed binding coating allows for formation of a composite coating film with excellent layer bonding properties. The composite coating film sits well on the surface of the base, on a priming film, on an old antifouling coating film etc, has excellent bonding strength between layers and can resist fouling. The coating film is mainly used for coating outer surfaces of ships, parts of marine structures immersed in water, channels for inlet and outlet of water in atomic power stations etc.
EFFECT: design of a binding coating through which a base or an underlying layer can be strongly bonded to an antifouling coating film based on organopolysiloxane, which become the outer layer after deposition.

SUBSTANCE: composition contains (wt %): polyorganosiloxane or tetraethoxysilane (2.5-10), polymethylphenyl siloxane resin which is not modified or modified with polyester (0.5-7.0), copolymer based on butylmethacrylate and methacrylic acid or ester thereof (6.0-10.0), phosphorus-containing compound, selected from tris-chloroethylphosphate, tris-chloropropylphosphate or ammonium polyphosphate (25.0-35.0), butanol (6.0-10.0) and aromatic solvent (the rest). SUBSTANCE: invention refers to coating material with binding and filler containing nano-size particles and also to application of such coating material for coating facades and other parts of buildings. Here is disclosed a coating material containing (in weight %) photo-catalyst decomposed binding (10-30), particles of filler of size and/or roughness up to 10 mcm (2-18) and photo catalytic acting agent in form of oxides of titanium, zinc, iron, manganese, molybdenum and/or tungsten (2-15). Thickness of external coating made out of described coating material decreases in result of photo catalysis at 0.1 mcm or more per year. Here is also disclosed application of described coating material for coating facades and other parts of building.
EFFECT: making coating material of said type possessing long lasting property for self-cleaning under periodic influence of precipitations running water or mechanical load.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of surfaces made from natural and artificial stones, ceramic materials and may be used for cleaning buildings faces and interiors from atmospheric contamination and for maintenance activities. Method of buildings faces and interiors cleaning includes cleaning with water, drying and applying hydrophobisated compositions in two layers. As soon as the first layer is applied, it is exposed before the second layer application during the time needed for complete hydrophobisated composition absorption. Polysiloxane resin emulsion Tego Phobe 6600 is dissolved in water at ratio 1:4-5 and used as hydrophobisated composition for the first layer. As hydrophobisated composition in the second layer, a composition is used, that contains styrene-acryl dispersion, silicon resin or silicon resins mixture, pigments, disperser, thickener, emulsifier, foam killer, preserving agent, coalescent and water at the stated ratio of components.

Additionally, there are disclosed photocurable composition containing (A) at least one ethylene-unsaturated free radical photopolymerised compound; and (B) at least one surface-active photoinitiator of formula I specified above; (C) thermally cross-linked compounds optionally; (D) other additives optionally; (C) other photoinitiators optionally.
