FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method for detection of motor oil quality consists in the fact that a drop of oil is applied onto sheet of filtering paper, which is taken by feeler from system of internal combustion engine lubrication. After the stain has been obtained on paper, its appearance in fixed with the possibility to enter obtained information into computer, and is compared with the help of computer to appearance of reference stains that have previously been entered into computer, on the basis of which oil quality is identified. Reference stains entered into computer are assigned with according running time from the beginning of operation. Assessed oil running time is fixed from the beginning of operation as assessed stain is compared to the reference one, and as its running time is registered, its residual resource is simultaneously detected.

EFFECT: improved information value from results of oil quality assessment results, reduction of labour expenses for its detection.

The invention relates to the diagnosis of diesel engine vehicles and military vehicles, in particular to methods for determining the quality of the engine oil with the use of computer.

There is a method of determining the quality of the motor oil stain on filter paper, in which filter paper is put a drop of oil, taken with the probe of the lubrication system. The characteristics of quality oils are against the outer diameter of the spot to the inner diameter of the outer ring spots, as well as the ratio of the inner diameter of the outer ring of the spot to the diameter of its nucleus [1].

The disadvantages of this method: the spots often do not have a clear circle shape, which has an impact on the designated features of the quality of the oil and, consequently, the reliability of the verification.

There is a way to determine oil quality based on the comparison of the spot measured oil from the reference spots [2].

The disadvantages of this method: comparison of spots produce visually, which also reduces the reliability of the assessment of the quality of the oils. There is no ability to quickly enter information into the computer.

The closest technical solution, selected as a prototype, is a computer-based method of assessing the quality of motor oil, which after gaining the spot of the estimated oil record its appearance with the possibility of entering the data in the computer. Then enter them into the computer and compared by computer with appearance standards, previously entered into the computer [3].

The disadvantage of this method is that it is not informative. In particular, this method does not allow to obtain data on the residual resource of oil.

The objective of the invention is to increase the informativeness of the results of the evaluation of oil quality, and reduced labor costs on its definition.

The invention consists in the following. Reference spots, entered into the computer, assign the appropriate accumulation of oil since the beginning of operation. Then record the time between the estimated oil since the beginning of operation when comparing the estimated spot with the reference. When you commit developments estimated oil simultaneously determine its residual life. The result is additional information about the condition of the oil, whereby correct next time check the oil, and it helps to reduce labor costs in determining its quality.

In practice, the proposed method of determining the quality of motor oils can be carried out as follows. Get the appearance of the reference oil stains and enter them into the computer. For this purpose, for example every 50 hours of engine operation, on filter paper put a drop of oil taken from the istemi lubrication. Stand her time. Then, using a digital camera or other electronic means record the appearance of each received drops and supply this information, as well as the accumulation of oil in the computer. Similarly receive and enter into the computer the information on fresh oil. The result is in the computer information Bank reference oil stains, quality indicators which are in the range from nominal to extreme values. Figure 1 and 2 shows for example the reference oil stain, having respectively the nominal and limit values of the quality indicators. By the same procedure receive and enter into the computer the data on the appearance of check oil. Data found reference spots, for example the time from the start of operation and residual life, appear on the computer display. They most closely correspond to check the oil. The received information is automatically saved and can be used to solve diagnostic problems.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of analysis of the materials by the chemical methods (by titration, with utilization of chemical indicators), containing the organic compounds of magnesium and may be used in chemical and a petrochemical industry at exercising control over the quality of petroleum. The invention provides, that magnesium chloride from the oil test is produced by impregnation of the ash-free filter with the tested oil with its subsequent incineration up to the complete ashing. Then the ash is dissolved in 30-40 cm3 of the weak 6 Mole/dm3 solution of hydrochloric acid. The produced solution id boiled within 15-20 minutes, transferred by a spray of the distilled water into the graduated flask. Take the aliquot, in which add the distilled water and neutralize it with ammonia (dropwise) up to pH=10.0, introduce the ammoniacal buffered solution and the indicating device the chromogen black ЕТ-100 and titrate 0.025 Mole/cm3 with the B-trilonum solution till the change of the a crimson-violet color into blue- pale blue, and quantity of magnesium (in mass%), is determined by the empirical formula.
