Controlled brushing probante conducted according to the methodology proposed in the "Methodological guidelines for experimental pharmacology) and clinical trials of prophylactic and therapeutic toothpastes" (Moscow-Sofia, 1983), for 3 min on the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28-1 day. Reduction of dental plaque after a single brushing teeth was determined by the formula, each controlled brushing:

where IGDoH- the index of hygiene, obtained by inspection before beginning controlled brushing(1, 7, 14, 21, 28 days);

IGmosleh- the index of hygiene obtained by inspection after conducting a controlled brushing(1, 7, 14, 21, 28 days).

From table 1, 2 and 3 it can be seen that the proposed toothpaste has a high cleaning ability, and hence the action of anti-caries effect due to more pronounced removal zubni the sediments and removes 59,46% of plaque.

To determine the anti-inflammatory properties offer toothpaste all probandi (30 people) conducted a controlled brushing your teeth for a month.

Anti-inflammatory action of the paste was evaluated according to the status attached to the teeth and gums using the index PMA by the formula:

Index PMA=[the Sum of/(3×number of teeth)]×100,

where P is the inflammation of the gingival papilla, which receives 1 point;

M - inflammation of the gingival margin, which is estimated at 2 points;

And - inflammation of attached gingiva alveolar ridge, which is estimated at 3 points.

Evaluation of anti-inflammatory action toothpaste was made on the basis of the analysis of the dynamics of the index of the PMA, which was determined by repeated examinations on the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th days. Anti-inflammatory efficacy was calculated by the formula:

Anti-inflammatory efficiency=[(PMA1-PMAx)/PMA1]×100,

where PMA1- index PMA obtained in the initial examination in the 1st day of the study;

PMAx- index PMA obtained at the subsequent examination (7, 14, 21 and 28 days).

The data is summarized in table 4 and 5. From them we see that after using this toothpaste condition of periodontal tissues was significantly improved: 100% probando disappeared catarrhal phenomena hinge the ITA, and the index PMA decreased from 48.3 to 6.2, which corresponded 87,16% anti-inflammatory effectiveness of this paste.

Evaluation of hemostatic action is carried out on the index bleeding Kacke:

I degree - rare, estimated at 2 points;

II degree - while brushing your teeth, valued at 4 points;

III degree - during meals and spontaneously, is estimated at 8 points.

Hemostatic efficacy was determined by the formula;

Hemostatic efficiency=[(IR1-IRx)/IR1]×100,

where IR1- the index bleeding in the beginning of the study;

IRx- bleeding index at the end of the experiment.

The data are given in table 6 and 7. They show that after using this toothpaste condition of periodontal tissues is improved and bleeding gums is reduced from 2.6 to 0.7 points, which corresponds to 73,08% hemostatic effectiveness of this paste.

Thus, the proposed toothpaste has a higher cleansing (59,46% cleaning effectiveness), anti-inflammatory (87,16% anti-inflammatory effect) and hemostatic (73,08% hemostatic efficiency) effects.
