The invention relates electronics and can be used as emitting devices in the millimeter wavelength range.

Known dielectric transmission line [1], comprising a rectangular dielectric waveguide placed between two parallel metal plates that extend beyond the boundaries of faces of the dielectric waveguide and forming a space filled with dielectric with a lower relative dielectric constant than the dielectric waveguide.

The drawbacks are the limited functionality when structural complexity.

Known antenna element [2], contains two parallel metal plates, one of which is provided with a hole, a dielectric waveguide located between the metal plates parallel to them, with magnetic emitter directed orthogonal to the plates in the center of the hole. The drawbacks are the limited functionality when structural complexity.

Closest to the present invention is radiating device [3], comprising a rectangular dielectric waveguide end portion of which has the form of a diagonal slice of the box, located between two parallel metal plates adjacent to PR the Fig sides of the dielectric waveguide and protruding beyond the boundaries of its faces, moreover, the cut plane of the waveguide end forms with the plane of one of the plates acute angle, the edge of which coincides with the edge of the adjacent plate.

The drawbacks are the increased design complexity, the absence of the possibility of smooth adjustment of the power loss, the limited level of working capacity.

Object of the invention is to enhance the functionality of the radiator without complication of the structure.

The solution is achieved by the fact that the radiating device containing a rectangular dielectric waveguide located between two parallel metal plates adjacent to the opposite faces of the dielectric waveguide and protruding beyond the boundaries of its faces, between the metal plates introduced asymmetric dielectric element adjacent thereto without the formation of cracks having a cross-section of an asymmetric shape, and one or more bends in the plane of the metal plates, and the convexity of the curves facing and close to the side wall dielectric waveguide, and concavity facing in the direction of the formed front of the radiated wave.

The technical result consists in extending the functionality of the radiating device due to the possibility of the formation of the required distribution the amplitude and phase of the wave front given width without complication of the structure.

An example of structural embodiment of a radiating device shown in the drawing.

The radiating device comprises a metal plate 1, a dielectric waveguide 2 and asymmetric dielectric element 3.

The radiating device operates as follows. The electromagnetic wave is propagated in the dielectric waveguide 2, and in areas approaching the bumps asymmetric dielectric element 3, of the energy due to the increase of distributed communication comes in asymmetric dielectric element 3, with a complex surface which is radiated in the desired direction and with the desired characteristics, for example with a uniform distribution of the amplitude and phase fronts.

The radiating device can be made of typical radio materials used in small items of equipment microwave. The design elements may coincide with the corresponding structures of the elements analogues.

Antenna element // 2316089

FIELD: microwave engineering; transceiving antennas for local industrial networks.

SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna element has dielectric resonator in the form of dielectric disk, coaxial line section with central conductor connected to cylindrical conductor, and space-enclosing conductive wall. Dielectric disk extends length l beyond space. Conductor section whose longitudinal axis is aligned with dielectric disk axis excites electromagnetic waves in the latter, their field structure corresponding to that of dielectric resonator E-waves. Dielectric disk axis is perpendicular to conductive wall surface. Effective excitation of E-waves in dielectric disk is ensured when its thickness is chosen from equation , where h is dielectric disk thickness; D is its diameter. Dielectric disk extends l = h - δ beyond space, where h is dielectric disk thickness; δ is conductive wall thickness amounting to 0.1-0.3 of dielectric disk thickness l.

EFFECT: enlarged passband and enhanced gain.
