The present invention is to provide a method for handling two-high stand helical rolling with the frame closed, to reduce the loss of working time on reloading.

This object is achieved in that in the method of handling twin roll cage helical rolling with the frame closed, including the movement of cartridge rolls in the horizontal plane and bring them outside dimensions of the bed stand and install in the reverse order new cartridges with rollers according to the invention the movement of the cartridge rolls in the horizontal plane is carried out in the extreme raised position of the roll axis, and removing them beyond the envelope is in the frame of the cage takes place simultaneously at an angle α=0-45° to the axis of rolling, on either side of it.
