The invention relates to techniques for measuring the humidity of gases. The predominant use of measuring the dew point of compressed gases directly at high pressures.

Known hygrometer containing the measuring chamber, made in holodophoto in the form of a cylindrical surface, which is the condensing mirror, the light source, the photodetector, the cooler and measuring devices [1]. Its main disadvantage is that in the absence of condensation on the mirror dew in the photodetector reaches a maximum luminous flux, causing the maximum signal. When this criterion measured the gas dew point is the temperature of the condensing mirror at the time an abrupt decrease of the signal at the photodetector. However, the magnitude of the change of this signal decreases sharply with decreasing gas humidity and low dew points, for example below minus 50°With, in the background of large signal cannot be determined with high accuracy. In addition, due to temperature changes in holodophoto dew formation begins in a small area, actually on the generatrix of a cylindrical surface that most closely located to the cooler. Therefore, the luminous flux that enters the photodetector varies slightly. As a consequence, increases the error in determining the temperature of the condensing mirror at the moment of birth on it dew.

Known hygrometer containing the measuring chamber, which is the condensing mirror, made in holodophoto in the form of a cylindrical surface, absorbing the light rays, the light source, the photodetector, the cooler and measuring devices [2], adopted for the prototype. Its drawback, as in [1], is that due to temperature in holodophoto dew formation begins in a small area and, accordingly, in the photodetector reaches a small part of the diffuse reflected light rays. In addition, in the measuring chamber are cooled the light source and polished screen, which create additional temperature changes in the flow of the sample gas. As a result of this reduced the accuracy of the measurement gas dew point and complicated design of the hygrometer.

Results of the present invention is to improve the accuracy of the measurement gas dew point and simplify the construction of the hygrometer.

This result is achieved in that: for option 1 in hygrometer, containing the measuring chamber, which is the condensing mirror, made in holodophoto in the form of a cylindrical surface, absorbing the light rays, the light source, the photodetector, the cooler and measuring devices, the measuring chamber parallel to its axis made undercut the form of a groove with a flat surface and the hole above it, closed protective glass, on which is installed the light source; for option 2 in hygrometer, containing the measuring chamber, which is the condensing mirror, made in holodophoto in the form of a cylindrical surface, absorbing the light rays, the light source, the photodetector, the cooler and measuring devices, the measuring chamber parallel to its axis is made a recess in the form of a groove with a flat surface and the hole above it, closed protective glass, which has a light source and a photodetector; # 3 in the hygrometer containing the measuring chamber, which is the condensing mirror, made in holodophoto in the form of a cylindrical surface absorbing the light rays, the light source, the photodetector, the cooler and measuring devices, the measuring chamber parallel to its axis is made a recess in the form of a groove with a flat surface and the hole above it, closed protective glass, on which is installed the light source and the axis of the measuring chamber has a second photodetector.

Distinctive features of the prototype of the features of the invention are as follows. In the proposed hygrometer options 1, 2, 3 in the measuring chamber parallel to its axis is made a recess in the form of a groove with a flat surface and the hole above it, closed protective glass on which to set the len light source. As a result, the dew formation begins almost simultaneously on the entire flat surface of the groove, which is actually a condensing mirror, which allows to significantly increase the value of the intermittent signal in the photodetector. The surface of the undercut is not in contact with other parts of the hygrometer, which is a significant decrease in temperature across its surface. In addition, in the measuring chamber are missing an uncooled light source and polished the screen. As a result, increases the accuracy of the measurement gas dew point and simplifies the design of the hygrometer. For option 2, the photodetector, and the light source is mounted above the protective glass that helps to reduce the geometrical dimensions of the measuring chamber with a more simple design. For option 3-axis measuring chamber has a second photodetector, which results in an even greater strengthening of the intermittent signal at the time of dew formation on the surface of the groove.

Options for practical implementation of the present invention are illustrated by the drawings, which shows the hygrometer according to the variant 1 (figure 1, figure 2), the hygrometer according to the variant 2 (Figure 3) and the hygrometer according to the variant 3 (Figure 4).

Hygrometer for option 1 (figure 1, figure 2) includes holdorova 1, the measuring chamber 2, which is made of vitoc is 3, hole 4, the protective glass 5, the temperature sensor 6, the light source 7, clip 8, the inlet pipe 9 with a valve 10 and a pressure gauge 11, a holder 12 with a protective glass 13, a sensor 14, the output pipe 15 with the valve 16 and flow meter 17, insulating strips 18, 19 and a cooler 20.

The measuring chamber 2 is made in holodophoto 1 in the form of a cylindrical surface, absorbing the light rays. The groove 3 is made parallel to the axis of the measuring chamber 2 in the form of a longitudinal groove with a flat surface and slanted to improve the aerodynamics of the analyzed gas (Figure 1). Hole 4 is located above the recess 3. Holdorova 1 insulated from exposure to the environment (figure 1, 2, 3, 4 are not shown).

The hygrometer according to the variant 2 (Figure 3) differs from the hygrometer according to option 1 in that there is no protective glass 13 and the sensor 14 is installed over the protective glass 5.

The hygrometer according to the variant 3 (Figure 4) differs from the hygrometer for option 1 because it along the axis of the measuring chamber 2 is the second photodetector 21 with protective glass 22.

Measuring the dew point of the gas using the proposed hygrometer options 1, 2, 3 as follows. First include the light source 7. Coming from him, the light rays are almost completely absorbed by the planar surface of the undercut 3 and the photodetector 14 (or f is tobramycin 14, 21 option 3) do not fall. The signal in the detector dew point (figure 1, 2, 3 not shown) is missing. Then fully open the valve 16 and gradually open the valve 10. Analyzed the compressed gas through the inlet pipe 9 enters the measuring chamber 2, flowing groove 3, the outlet pipe 15 is discharged into the atmosphere. By adjusting the flow rate of the sample gas through valves 10, 16, set in the measuring chamber 2 to the desired pressure at a certain flow rate. The control produced respectively by the pressure gauge 11 and the flow meter 17. After that, include a cooler 20, resulting in a temperature holodophoto 1 begins to decrease. At the initial moment of dew formation occurs almost simultaneously on the entire surface of the undercut 3, which in the measuring chamber 2 is most closely located to the cooler 20. Thus the light rays diffusely reflected from drops of dew fall into the photodetector 14 (options 1, 2) or photodetectors 14, 21 (option 3), causing the abrupt appearance of a signal in the detector dew point. The surface temperature of the undercut 3, measured at this point by using a temperature sensor 6, is the dew point of the sample gas at a given pressure.

Compared with the prototype of the proposed hygrometer options 1, 2, 3 can improve the measurement accuracy of the dew point ha is and to simplify the design. This is achieved by the fact that at the initial moment of dew formed almost simultaneously at a substantially higher surface. As a result of this intermittent signal in the detector dew point is magnified, which contributes to a significant improvement of measurement accuracy. With version 3 using the second sensor signal is amplified to an even greater extent. In the measuring chamber hygrometer no light source and polished screen, complicating the design and reduce the accuracy of measurements of the dew point of the gas.
