(see EN 2103178).

The closest to the invention is the hot stamping foil containing polyethylene terephthalate film and a coating containing as thermoplastic binder is a copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate (p. and their ratio 85:15) - 23,0-of 55.5 wt.%, as pigment carbon black to 33.3-38.5 wt.%, as the filler is chalk 11,2-38.5 wt.% (SU 1368196, published. 23.01.1988).

Known foil intended for use in the printing industry for stamping labels on the binding material is a polyvinylchloride coating, and its quality is unsuitable for printing on the registration plates of vehicles.

The objective of the invention is the creation of a hot stamping foil having the necessary quality indicators for transferring ink layer on the registration mark of the vehicle.

The problem is solved by the hot stamping foil containing polyethylene terephthalate film and a coating comprising as a film-forming copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate at a ratio of 86:14 with a molecular weight of 27000 and the pigment in the following ratio, wt.%:

The task is also solved by a foil with characters that contains additional information coating (layer), different pigment composition from the main cover.

Unlike most similar analogue use the Ute is a copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate with different molecular weight and different ratio of chemical units in a macromolecule, that gives cover the required properties. Thus, with increasing molecular weight (polymerization degree) the viscosity of the solution and the hardness of the film increases. The vinyl chloride imparts hardness and strength, as well as chemical and water resistance.

The invention consists in the following.

Foil hot stamping series of ROSES is a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film base thickness of 20 μm, which on the one hand applied paint layer, optimized for easy transition from the PET film on the reflective coating of the registration of the mark.

During the development of the paint layer foil ROSES were considered the ratio of adhesion and cohesion for lyophobicity the surface of the polyethylene terephthalate film base, which allowed us to do just one paint layer in contrast to the classical three-layer foil for hot stamping.

The invention is carried out as follows.

In the dispersant produced colorful composition, mixing the binders for the pigment. As the binders used are copolymers of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate, which was used copolymers containing vinyl chloride 86 and 90%, respectively, of vinyl acetate 14%and 4%. Then was carried out by dilution and stabilization colorful suspension in the reactor to viscosity up to 12-25 into the casimero B3-246 with the nozzle diameter of 4 mm Solvents are aromatic hydrocarbons in a mixture thereof with esters and ketones.

Put colorful suspension on a roll of polyethylene terephthalate film on the machine for the production of hot stamping foil. Film roll from unwinding node passed through the site of application and colorful stained shaft, bathed in colorful tub. Colorful suspension was aligned with the thickness of the spiral rod, and the excess slurry flowed into the tub. Painted film has passed the drying section at a temperature of 40-60°and this in the coil winding node.

Then rewinding machine film from a larger roll was squandered in rolls 150 p.m. on a cardboard spool with a diameter of 25.4 mm and produced cutting rolls in the format 120 and 240 mm

In some cases, made the foil of characters (letters, for example, BY, RUS, etc), which consists of two layers of coating applied to the film-based:

the first layer information (characters, etc. white, blue, green, red)

- second layer - background (black).

In this case, first put a layer. This was carried out by preparing a colorful composition information layer in the dispersant. Diluted and stabilized colorful slurry in the reactor to viscosity up to 12-25 with the viscometer B3-246 with a nozzle diameter 4 mm

Then NAS is Seeley colorful suspension on gravure printing machine (tool - raster shaft with a picture) on a roll of polyethylene terephthalate film.

Prepare colorful composition of the second background layer in the dispersant and put black colorful suspension (the background layer) on a roll of polyethylene terephthalate film with printed symbols on the machine for the production of foil.

Then the foil from a large roll was squandered in rolls 150 p.m. and cut in format.

Table 1 shows examples of various compositions in accordance with the invention.

Samples with foil coatings, the compositions of which are shown in table 1, were tested. The results are given in table 2.

Tests for air-conditioning of samples: (a) for 7 h at 65±2°C and relative humidity (10±5)%; b) for 1 h at 23±5°C and relative humidity (50±10)% and C) for 15 h at minus 29°showed that after consistently carried conditioning in all samples there were no cracks, warping, or discoloration.

Test adhesion showed that after conditioning the samples were observed detachment.

Resistance tests of the coatings to the strike showed that after testing on the surfaces of all samples were observed cracks or delamination at a distance of 5 mm from the zone of impact (the drummer is a ball with a diameter of 25 mm).

<> Bend test mandrel ⊘50 mm for 2 before the formation of the 90° showed that after testing samples of the coatings were observed cracks.

Samples for testing water resistance withstand: (a) within 24 h in distilled water at a temperature of (23±5)°C; b) for 48 h and dried at a temperature of (23±5)°C.

After exposure of samples to the coatings were no signs of destruction.

Resistance tests of the coatings to the effects of fuel held for 1 min in a mixture: 70% n-heptane and 30% toluene. Traces the destruction of the coatings was not observed.

Tests for resistance to salt exposure was carried out for 22 h when exposed to salt fog, after 2 h of drying and re-22 h were subjected to salt fog. After testing, the samples were observed corrosion.
