The invention relates to a device for the construction and repair of railway tracks, mainly in the areas of turnouts.

Known tamping machine, equipped with a modular frame connected to the tamping unit and the lifting and straightening unit is moved by longitudinal drive axis of the machine and supported on the track by using a running chassis.
