The invention relates to the processing of metals by pressure and can be used for the manufacture of punches extrusion product type glass having a toothed profile in the inner cavity, such as buildings shrapnel ammunition.

A known method of manufacture of forging dies for extrusion products type glass inner toothed profile (see patent RU 2080550 C1, F42B 12/24, 27.05.1997,).

However, the known method does not provide the manufacture of the toothed profile of the tool is of good quality, because its manufacture is made by milling and due to the low roughness of the tooth surface during extrusion products have significant specific efforts, which reduces the resistance of the punch and the quality of the gear profile.

Application after milling grinding toothed profile of the punch is difficult due to possible differences in the angular divergence of the teeth during processing even in the centres, but also because of the small size of teeth, size "L" and radius "R" (figure 2).

Task to be solved by the present invention is directed, is to eliminate these shortcomings.

This is achieved by a method for manufacturing of forging dies for extrusion products type of glass with an inner toothed profile includes the segment of the workpiece, obtaining a semi-finished product, with working parts, it is the processing, heat treatment, grinding semi-finished and further forming on the side of the working part of the gear profile by the method of electric discharge machining.

A significant sign of "... the subsequent formation on the side of it (punch) working part serrated profile by the method of electric discharge machining allows you to provide the technical result increased operational qualities of a punch for manufacturing toothed profile with high purity processing, the accuracy of the angular positioning of the teeth, reduction of specific efforts during extrusion products of type a glass of obtaining high-quality toothed profile of the products and increase tool life.

The method is as follows.

Cut from rod billet handle surface and the working part "P" of the prefabricated plug, conduct heat treatment and surface grinding and working part "P". Then spend the formation of the toothed profile "P" copper electrode EDM processing.

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: for parts production cold-upsetting tool is used in the form of multi-position unit. Unit includes five positions and contains puncheons, thrusters, assembled matrixes and strippers. Assembled matrix in the fourth position is installed motionlessly and is equipped with reduction step at the insert. Stripper of the fourth position is arranged with the opening, in which spring-loaded puncheon is installed. Cut billet is subjected to setting and calibration with leveling of butt ends and formation of conical marks. By means of further billet setting head is created. Then opening is pressed out in the billet and its external diameter is reduced with formation of step. Reduction of diameter is carried out in motionless matrix with insert, which has reduction step. For that purpose billet is displaced until it thrusts stripper with spring-loaded puncheon with its butt-end. Puncheon is installed in billet pressed out opening. Later billet is displaced together with puncheon and stripper via reduction step of matrix. After that billet opening is interweaved.

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: for one technological operation two types of pressing are carried out. As one type direct pressing of metal is used from container to its exit via calibrating zone. The second type is equal-channel angular pressing with provision of shift deformations in metal. Direct pressing is carried out prior to angular pressing. Shift deformations at angular pressing are provided immediately after metal exit from calibrating zone of direct pressing. Pressing is performed in the device that contains puncheon, matrix with two crossing channels and container. Container is installed above the matrix. Container cavity forms inlet part of vertically installed matrix channel. Area of inlet part cross section exceeds cross section area of vertically installed channel. The latter is arranged in the form of calibrating belt for direct pressing of metal from container. Height of belt makes 4-10 mm, and its diameter is equal to diameter of matrix second channel.

EFFECT: production of long-length items with high mechanical properties from different structural materials with simultaneous reduction of power intensity.

SUBSTANCE: rod ends are made with thickenings which have screw. For rods joining joiner is used with inner screw. Thickenings on rod ends are received on forging press fitted with equipment for cold heading of reinforcing rod ends. SUBSTANCE: forging is performed in several passes by means of an upper flat and a lower cut out strikers. The lower striker has an impression in a shape of a scalene triangle. During the first pass a blank by compression is shaped into a scalene triangle with an obtuse angle 100-105° and a lesser acute angle 29-34°. During the following passes the blank is placed in the same strikers with support of a lesser side of the triangle of its cross section on a bigger side of a scalene triangle of cross section of the impression of the lower striker.

EFFECT: risk of defect formation is excluded.

FIELD: pressure shaping; manufacture of blanks from materials at preset structure including submicro-crystalline structure and nano-crystalline structure at respective level of physico-mechanical properties.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in successive deformation cycles of initial blank by compression in height, thus obtaining blank with lateral faces. Proposed method ensures smooth plastic flow of material of blank in opposite directions along axis perpendicular to direction of application of deformation force. Each deformation cycle includes placing the blank in device, subjecting it to deformation, withdrawing the blank from device and re-setting for next cycle. Device proposed for realization of this method has working part with cavity and upper and lower punches. Working cavity consists of two parts: upper and lower. Lower part is widened along one of its horizontal axes.

EFFECT: enhanced homogeneity of ultrafine-grained structure at improved mechanical properties.

SUBSTANCE: four strikers are mounted in holders having inclined planes supporting anti-friction plates. Holders of upper and lower strikers are joined through kinematics links holders of lateral strikers. Centering guides are mounted on inclined planes of holders of upper and lower strikers or on inclined planes of holders of lateral strikers. FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of rod like fastening articles with heads having curvilinear supporting surface, such as clamp bolts for joining rails of railway road.

SUBSTANCE: cutting off operation is realized by means of tool having die, punch and knocking out member. Rod portion of blank of rod article is placed in hole of die having recess. At initial stage of cutting off operation by action of punch upon end face of head the last is embedded into cut-off die. Then simultaneously punch and cutting edges of die are cut into body of head at clamping cut-off metal between end surfaces of punch and die. Said cut-off metal is separated from head by pushing rod article through opening of punch. Cutting edges of die are cut into bode of head by depth consisting of 0.65 - 0.80 of height of article head while preventing contact of faces of head part placed between cutting edges of die with die surface. Distance between cutting edges of die providing cutting-off of mutually opposite faces of head consists of 0.95 - 0.99 of similar distance between cutting edges of punch. Height of die recess consists of 0.65 - 0.80 of head height.

EFFECT: improved quality of articles, enhanced strength of tool.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for making forged pieces having length to diameter relation more than 3 includes power hydraulic cylinder on plunger of which upper striker is mounted. Lower striker is mounted in rotary mechanism. The last is in the form of kinematics pair having gear wheel and racks rigidly secured to plungers of hydraulic cylinders. Apparatus also includes second power hydraulic cylinder whose plunger is mounted in gear wheel with possibility of axial motion and rigidly joined with lower striker. Both power hydraulic cylinders separately through pipelines and throttles are communicated with respective hydraulic cylinders of rotary mechanism.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing where lower stop and both movable relative to housing punch and upper stop are arranged. Said stops have notched surfaces for engaging with blank and their ends are in contact respectively with punch and supporting plate. Stops may move relative to punch and supporting plate in mutually opposite directions normal relative to axis of housing. Apparatus is also provided with two wedges. Housing may move relative to supporting plate and it includes two annular grooves arranged in upper and lower parts of housing and designed for placing said wedges. SUBSTANCE: hard alloy matrix has casing, bushing pressed in the case and hard alloy insertion. Bushing has multifaced hole. Hard alloy insertion is composed by several sections made in form of trapezoidal-section prisms which have cut angles at their non-working edges. Number of sections corresponds to number of faces of item to be headed. Cuts of angles are made symmetrically to faces of working edge. Slits are made in several places of multifaced hole bushing at the ponts where faces cross each other.

EFFECT: improved resistance of matrix; simplified assembly.

SUBSTANCE: die set includes deforming punch, die with vertical parting, struts in the form of truncated pyramids having wedge-shaped slopes for mounting die; units for securing struts to supporting plate. Die is placed in struts with possibility of motion relative to them. Struts have double-sided mutually opposite slopes. Elastic member is placed under die. Maximum compression value of said elastic member by means of effort corresponding to effort of clamping die halves in struts is equal to value of descending die at forging process.
