The technical field to which the invention relates.

The present invention relates to x-ray source, and more particularly to a device for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy.

Background of the invention

Electronic linear accelerator can generate electronic high-energy rays or, therefore, to generate x-rays by bombarding object e rays of high energy. Radiotherapy is a manufacturing technology that makes the irradiated object is to cause certain biological and physical phenomena, due to their ability to ionization and the effect of bremsstrahlung of electron beams or x-rays, thereby carrying out the treatment of tumors. In General, radiotherapy first formed image focal area of the patient and it is localized using an analog of the detector, and radiotherapy is carried out in relation to the installed area of therapy based on the results of localized images via e-linac. According to the requirement of the current time will be appropriate to imaging and radiotherapy could be performed without moving the patient. To meet this requirement known technical solutions have mainly about the time, x-ray machine and a linear accelerator mounted at different angles to the Gantry (Gantry) or in different places procedural office for imaging and radiotherapy without moving the patient. Will be some deviations due to the different angles of the formation of images and different angles radiotherapy. We also used x-rays generated by electron beams of low energy, for radiotherapy via switching energy electron linear accelerator. However, in this case, the image quality is low because it is difficult to get energy less than 100 Kev (Kev).

The technique of non-destructive testing should monitor the internal structure of the object due to the ability of x-rays penetrate the object. Recently it was proposed to use x-rays two energy spectra, which are generated electron beams of the two energy levels at the bombardment of the object to alternately carry out the image formation of the radiation relative to the controlled object, and thereby to identify the essential features of the object. This application requires fast switching energy electron beams, and requires that the energy is th difference between the electron beams was as much as possible. In prior art rapid regulation energy electron beams, in General, were performed by changing the power and frequency of the microwaves and loads of electron beams. In this case, the control range of the electron beams is limited, and the quality of image formation is low.

The invention

The aim of the present invention is to develop a device for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy, which provides high quality imaging and a wide range of regulation of electron beams.

According to the present invention, an apparatus for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy containing control system, power electronic floodlight, high-voltage power electronic spotlight, the microwave power source, a tube for linear acceleration of electrons, high-voltage electronic spotlight and the object radiation (the target of the bombing), in which the high-voltage power electronic floodlight supply tube for the linear acceleration of electrons under control, the microwave power source accelerates electron beams generated by the tube for linear acceleration of electrons running si the topics of management, moreover tube for linear acceleration of electrons respectively connected to the power supply of the electronic spotlight and a microwave power source for generating electron beams of high-energy, high-voltage power electronic projectors supply the high-voltage electronic spotlight under the control of the control system, high-voltage electronic spotlight connected to high-voltage power electronic spotlight for generating electron beams of low energy, the object radiation (target bombing) accepts electronic high-energy rays to generate x-rays transmission high energy, and/or receiving e-rays of low energy to generate x-rays reflection of low energy.

Tube for linear acceleration of electrons preferably contains electronic spotlight, which generates electron beams generated by power electronic spotlight, and an accelerating device for acceleration of the electron beams.

The angle between the direction of the production of electron beams of the tube for linear acceleration of electrons and the direction of the production of electron beams of high-voltage electronic spotlight set in the range (85-95) degrees.

The direction of release of the electron beam is from the tube for linear acceleration of electrons is preferably perpendicular to the direction of production of electron beams of high-voltage electronic spotlight.

The radiation direction of the x-rays transmitting high energy preferably is the same as the direction of emission of x-rays transmission of low energy.

High voltage electronic spotlight preferably provided with a transmitting tube for electron beams of low energy, which has a window for the release of x-rays.

The window for the release of x-rays is made preferably from a material having a low absorption coefficient for x-rays of high energy and/or low energy.

This material is preferably titanium.

The transmitting tube is preferably placed on the window for the release of x-rays, and is concave with respect to the feature point on the object radiation.

Electronic high-energy rays are preferably pulsed, and e-rays of low energy are continuous or pulsed electron beams.

With the above configuration, it is possible to adjust the energy of x-rays over a wider range compared with the prior art, and to create a more clear image x-ray reflection of low energy, which were generated electron beams tens of Kev (Kev) or hundreds of Kev bombarding bhakti (target), and then to radiotherapy x-rays generated by electron beams having an energy level MeV (mega-electron volt). X-rays are high and/or low energy of the present invention can be both impulsive and can achieve alternating switching between the x-ray pulses of high and low energy. The device according to the present invention has a simple structure and low cost, it can be adapted for use in various devices linear acceleration.

Detailed description of preferred embodiments of the invention

It should be noted that the following embodiments are used only for explanation of the present invention, and they in no way limit the scope of patent protection of the present invention.

Figure 1 - schematic diagram showing the configuration of the device for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy according to the embodiment of the invention.

As shown in figure 1, the device for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy tube 19 for the linear acceleration of electrons formed by the electronic projector 14 and the accelerating device 12 is a device for generating an electron beam of high energy, while the generated electronic high-energy rays bombing of irout object 13 radiation placed downstream relative to the high-voltage electronic projector 11 and the accelerating device 12, so that x-rays transmission of high energy are generated on the right side of the object 13 radiation. Device for generating electron beams of low energy formed high-voltage electronic spotlight 11 and its high voltage power supply 15 electronic spotlight, and the generated electron beams of low energy bombard the right side of the object 13 radiation, so that the same side of the generated x-rays reflection. Therefore, x-rays transmission high energy and x-rays reflection of low energy can be generated by the bombardment of the object 13 radiation of electron beams having different energy levels. Although figure 1 shows that the x-rays, and x-rays of the low level are propagated in the same direction, they can be displayed in different directions by adjusting the relative positions of the high-voltage electronic spotlight 11, the accelerating device 12 and the object 13 radiation on the basis of different applications.

The control system 18 may control the power supply 17 electronic spotlight and a microwave source 16 power to generate impul the red electron beams high energy through electronic spotlight 14 and accelerating device 12. Or the control system 18 may control the high voltage power supply 15 electronic spotlight for the excitation high-voltage electronic spotlight 11 to generate a continuous or pulsed electron beams of low energy.

In addition, the control system 18 may control the time of generation of electron beams of high and/or low energy. For example, the control system 18 can control time, to alternately generate x-ray beams of high energy and low energy for non-destructive testing, or sequentially to generate a continuous x-rays of low energy for the formation of images and then generate x-ray beams of high energy radiation.

Figure 2 - schematic diagram showing the operation of the device for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy in the operating condition of the x-ray beams of low energy.

As shown in figure 2, the device according to the present invention can produce x-rays of low energy. In this case, on the basis of pre-defined points in time, the system 18 controls the high voltage power supply 15 electronic spotlight for the excitation high-voltage electronic spotlight 11 to generate e l the Chi low energy. E-rays of low energy, generated from high-voltage electronic spotlight 11, bombard the surface of the object 13 radiation. Due to the low energy electron beams of low energy reflected from the object surface (13) of radiation, to generate x-rays of low energy, which extend in the direction of the output.

Figure 3 - schematic diagram showing the operation of the device for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy in working condition x-rays of high energy. As shown in figure 3, the device according to the present invention can produce x-rays of high energy. In this case, on the basis of the predetermined time, the control system 18 may control the power supply 17 electronic spotlight for the excitation of electronic spotlight 14 to generate electron beams, which will accelerate and served on the entrance of the accelerating device 12. Management system, among other things, can control the microwave source 16 power for excitation of the accelerating device 12 in order to accelerate implementation of electronic rays and generate electron beams of high energy. Electronic high-energy rays generated from the accelerating device 12, bombard the object 13 radiation to get the x-rays of high energy in the transmit direction. As described above, the tube 19 for the linear acceleration of electrons can be installed perpendicular to the high-voltage electronic spotlight 11, so that the radiation direction of the x-ray beams of high energy will be the same as the direction of emission of x-rays of low energy. However, the angle between the direction of the output electron beams of low energy, generated from a tube 19 for the linear acceleration of electrons and the direction of the output electron beams of high energy from high-voltage electronic projector 11 can be adjusted within a certain range, such as (85-95) degrees.

4 is a structural schematic diagram showing the window for the release of x-rays contained in the device for outputting x-rays is high and/or low energy. As shown in figure 4 according to the embodiment of the invention, the window 31 for the release of x-rays is installed on the path of propagation of x-rays is high and/or low energy. The window 31 for the release of x-rays made of titanium or any other material which absorbs less x-rays low energy or high energy or has a structure that can reduce the absorption for x-rays is high and/or low energy. In this embodiment, the window 31 for the release of x-rays the imp is prevalent as close as possible to the point of the object (the target of the bombing), where are the e-rays of high and/or low energy at the bombardment to reduce the size of the window 31 for the release of x-rays and to overcome the aforementioned disadvantages of the process. As shown in figure 4, the transmitting tube 32 for electron beams of low energy can be concave relative to the object in the position of the output x-rays.

The present invention can be applied in devices for radiotherapy and medical tools, imaging, or can be applied in non-destructive testing. The present invention has a simple structure, is inexpensive, and can be adapted for wide use in almost all devices linear acceleration.

It should be noted that similar technical solutions obtained by the electron accelerator, replaced by other generators of high-energy electrons should be regarded as falling under the scope of patent protection of the present invention.
