The invention relates to the field of light industry, specifically to compositions of decorative paper for wall-paper, and can be used for the production of pearlescent inks for printing Wallpaper profound way.

The known composition of the decorative cover paper Wallpaper [EN 2042008], which contains pigment, polyvinyl alcohol and an organic additive. The disadvantage of this composition is the fact that obtaining such composition requires a multi-stage technology with the use of elevated temperatures.

It is known [ RU 2026915] primer coating, print and finishing coating for waterproof Wallpaper, which contains a pigment, water, and acrylic latex consisting of methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, methacrylic acid and glycidylmethacrylate at a ratio respectively 32:62:5:1. Acrylate latex is an aqueous solution of a polymer obtained by emulsion polymerization method.

Known composition pearlescent paint, comprising nacreous pigment "Iriodin", binder varnish reliever glossy (BASF), ethyl alcohol and water (Formulation No. 2. Internal regulations of Wallpaper production of CJSC "Moscow Wallpaper factory" from 25.06.1999).

Known composition pearlescent inks for printing Wallpaper profound way, containing pearlescent pigment "Iriodin", connecting the PV-1 (TM plant of Synthetic rubber" Yaroslavl), which is an aqueous solution of a polymer obtained by the emulsion polymerization method and neutralized with an aqueous solution of ammonia, ethyl alcohol, water (Formulation No. 1. Internal regulations of Wallpaper production of CJSC "Moscow Wallpaper factory" from 25.06.1999).

The disadvantage of these known compounds is the low sedimentation stability of the paint, insufficient heat resistance required for the production of banoobhai and low washability with printed forms, which leads to damage of the latter.

The technical purpose of this invention is to eliminate the abovementioned disadvantages: increased sedimentation and thermal stability of paint, improving slavemaster its printed form.

This object is achieved in that pearl paint for decoration Wallpaper includes pearlescent pigment, ethyl alcohol, water, and is used as a binder acrylate latex of a copolymer of butyl acrylate (19-21%), vinyl acetate (67-69%) and methacrylic acid (10-12%), in the following ratio, wt.%

Pearlescent pigment16-16,5
Ethanol12-12,5
Acrylic latex copolymer

As a pearlescent pigment used ground mica coated with metal oxides (pearlescent pigment). For example, pearlescent pigment "Iriodin" by Merck, Germany. It is composed of mica and titanium dioxide. While mica is a transparent media layer of titanium dioxide, responsible for pearly luster. Can also be used pearlescent pigments marks 100 LB, EP 10, OX 115, KS 100.

Binder, claimed in the form of acrylate latex of butyl acrylate (19-21%), vinyl acetate (67-69%) and methacrylic acid (10-12%), receive by way of radiation emulsion polymerization of butyl acrylate, vinyl acetate and methacrylic acid under the influence of ionizing radiation at a dose rate of 0.05-0.1 G/s to absorbed doses of 1.5 to 2 kGy.

The proposed conditions of radiation polymerization of the copolymer are characterized by the fact that the acrylic latex of a copolymer of butyl acrylate (19-21%), vinyl acetate (67-69%) and methacrylic acid (10-12%) is obtained using as an initiator of gamma radiation to absorbed doses of 1.5 to 2 kGy.

Use acrylic latex of a copolymer of butyl acrylate (19-21%), vinyl acetate (67-69%) and methacrylic acid (10-12%) as a binder allows you to get pearlescent paint with high sedime the operating resistance and washability with printed forms, keeping the fixing of the pigment, glitter, siteprotect thermal print on paper. The ratio of butyl acrylate, vinyl acetate and methacrylic acid in the copolymer due to the fact that the ratio of the monomers forming the copolymer, effective and as a binder, and as a thickener paint. Reducing a content of butyl acrylate in the copolymer deteriorates the fixing of the pigment on the paper and the stability of the coating to abrasion. With the increasing content of butyl acrylate, more than 21% of unreasonably increases the cost pearl paint. From the content of methacrylic acid in the copolymer depends on the viscosity of the latex and sedimentation stability pearlescent paint.

The use of ionizing radiation is preferable because in this case the rate of initiation does not depend on temperature and constant in time. Therefore, the process can be conducted at low temperatures to a deep degree of conversion of monomers to reduce the formation of coagulum and eliminate the additional step of distillation of the monomers, unreacted.

Example 1

Synthesis of acrylate latex of a copolymer of butyl acrylate, vinyl acetate and methacrylic acid in a ratio of 20:68:12 carried out by the method of emulsion polymerization. In the reactor-polymerizaton download an aqueous solution of the emulsion is atora alkylsulfonate sodium and the reaction mixture of monomers of butyl acrylate, vinyl acetate and methacrylic acid in a ratio of 20:68:12. The copolymerization process is carried out at a temperature of 15-40°under the influence of the initiator, preferably gamma radiation of cobalt-60 at a dose rate of 0.05-0.1 G/s to absorbed doses of 1.5 to 2 kGy.

Then, the obtained copolymer is neutralized with an aqueous solution of ammonia to a pH of 8-9.

Then pearlescent pigment in an amount of 20 kg was mixed in a mechanical mixer with water weighing 32 kg, ethyl alcohol 15 kg and acrylate latex weight 58 kg up to a given ratio of components, wt.%:

The paint was processed as in the preparation day, and in 10-12 days by car deep printing technique Fisher and crack No. 3. Glitter and consolidation of good nacre (figure "Watercolor"). Paint is not stratified and well washed with printed forms. Saves siteproject and higher temperature capability that enables you to apply the paint in obtaining banoobhai.

The results are given in the table. The quality of the sedimentation stability was tested as a quantitative distribution of the particles depending on the time of their settling in the liquid.
