The proposed composition provides decorative effect of cover mimic to mother-of-pearl with good adhesion of the composition on plastics of different chemical nature. Invention can be used in coloring plastics with imitation of mother-of-pearl, in particular, for national consumption goods.

The disadvantage of the composition is its suitability for the colour only on the basis of polystyrene plastics due to the lack of adhesion on other types of plastic materials, and the use of hydrocarbon costly pearl Pat limits the large-scale production of goods of national consumption of different types of plastics.

Object of the invention is a composition that provides a decorative effect coatings under mother of pearl, ensuring the adhesion of the composition on the plastics of different chemical nature (PS, PVC, PET and others) and replacement of expensive pearl pigment (pearl PATA).

The problem is solved by obtaining the composition for decorative finishes, including film-forming, representing a 20% solution of polymethylmethacrylate in dichlorethane, an organic solvent, the body is ical dye, moreover, as the organic solvent includes an aromatic solvent, and optionally aluminum powder, modified by milling with organic dye in the proportions of 1:0.005 to 0,008, in the following ratio of components (wt.%):

The composition is prepared as follows. Pellets of poly fill dichloroethane and leave to swell at a temperature of 50-60°C for 24 hours. The swollen part of the paste is mixed with dry fat-soluble organic dye or, for example, polystyrene-superconcentrator (desired color) and fray with aluminum powder. The remainder of the paste polymethylmethacrylate diluted with an aromatic solvent (xylene, toluene) and mixed with colored paste of aluminum powder. After stirring the resulting composition is applied by conventional spray on product.

The resulting composition is a system consisting of layers of polymer a "bad" solvent (as xylene is "poor" solvent for methyl methacrylate)) and "good" (dichloroethane) Islaam modified aluminum powder, who are able to reflect and diffuse light. Reflectivity of the aluminum powder during milling with organic dye is reduced, as well as the ability to listomania. This heterogeneous system provides an optically anisotropic medium, that causes pearly effect. The presence in the composition of "bad" solvent increases the viscosity of the binder, which contributes more to the tight contact of the polymer-polymer and, consequently, to improve the coating adhesion.

Raw materials: Polymethylmethacrylate (datril MO) TU-602 11491, dichloroethane GOST 1942-86, xylene GOST 9949-76, toluene GOST 1470-78, color masterbatch TU-6-05-1980-84, aluminum powder GOST 54-54-71, organic soluble dye (red TU-14716-70), green antrahinonovye TU-6-14-985-78, yellow TU-6-05-72.

Examples of specific obtain a composition.

Example 1. In the tank 1 granules (methyl methacrylate) (4,1%) pour dichloroethane (16.4%) and incubated at a temperature of 50-60°C for 14-15 hours prior to the formation of swollen pasty mass.
