The innovation enables to increase average daily body weight gains by 20.5%, shorten the age to achieve body weight of 100 kg by 24 d and decrease the expenditure of feedstuff per 1 kg body weight gain by 17.2%.

Iodine is a highly active chemical element and has the property of high volatility. Therefore, in the applicable supplements and drugs iodine is destroyed. In addition, oral administration of feed containing iodine preparations, they are exposed to gastric juice, where the acidic environment is restored to the molecular state and cannot be digested in the gastrointestinal tract of animals. In this regard, the oral application cannot be considered physiologically optimal level for animals. Iodine is introduced by the method of single subcutaneous implantation in the form of potassium iodide pills, has access to the body in such quantity as is necessary to an animal.

Simultaneous deficit Selena iodine deficiency causes a higher degree of hypothyroidism, than the deficit in diet composition of one iodine. The lack of selenium in animals reduces the functional activity of thyroid hormones, preventing the synthesis joptionpanes, which makes thyroxine in a more active form triiodothyronine.

The objective of the invention is the use of distributed iodine and selenium in the diet of farm animals to increase the productivity of young pigs, livability, reduce costs feed.

Example.

Scientific and economic experiment was carried out from June 2002 to January 2003 in OPH "new" replacements Kemerovo factory type production pigs (KM-1). Selection of groups of analog and replacement gilts from 2 months of age was carried out according to origin, age and live weight. The animal feeding from 3 months of age was carried out according to the norms of agricultural Sciences with the chemical composition of local feeds, giving selenium and iodine was carried out according to the scheme experience (table 1). Sodium Selenite was brought in milk products, while strictly observing the dosage and very thoroughly mixed with the feed. Implantation tablets of potassium iodide was performed by subcutaneous injection in the region of the lateral surface of the ear.

The results are shown in table 2.

In our scientific and business experience in all studied parameters experimental animals is also superior to the control, and pigs III experimental group - the analogues of I and II groups. Thus, the average live weight at the end of the experiment was higher in group I by 10.3% (p<0.05)and in group II above by 13.2% (p<0.01), and in group III above 15.5% (p<0,05). Average daily gain in live weight was higher by 14.6%, and 17.3% and 20.5%, respectively (p<0,01). Precocity in I, II and III groups were higher by 9%, and 9.4% and 10.3% (p<0,01). The cost of feed per 1 kg gain were lower in group I by 12.9%in the second 15%, in the third experimental group by 17.2%, compared to control animals.

Thus, based on the above, we can conclude that the feeding of selenium in the form of sodium Selenite and implantation of iodine in the form of potassium iodide activate metabolic processes occurring in the body of pigs changes increase their resistance to adverse environmental factors, productivity, reproductive function and improves product quality.
