The technical field

The present invention relates to an evaporator for a refrigeration unit.

The level of technology

The surface of the evaporator is cooled when it is filled with refrigerant to a temperature below 0°C. Therefore, the moisture contained in the air of the inner space of the refrigerating unit may condense on the surface of the evaporator and freeze. While on the surface of the first evaporator and a thin, evenly distributed layer of frost, which, if it is not periodically to thaw, during operation of the refrigeration unit becomes thicker and finally fused into a solid a solid layer of ice. As the temperature of the evaporator varies over time depending on, does it charge or not, this layer of ice over time expands and narrows again. Between the ice layer and the underlying evaporator, there is tension, which, ultimately, lead to a sudden slippage of the ice layer. This is followed by the annoying sounds - clicks.

Disclosure of inventions

The task of the invention is to provide an evaporator for a refrigeration unit in which these clicks weakened.

This problem is solved by the fact that the surface of the evaporator, which could be formed ice, etc is and water-repellent (hydrophobic) coating.

This coating delaying in time the formation of the first ice crystals in ice-free evaporator and thereby increases the time required for the formation on the evaporator after thawing this amount of ice, which is sufficient for the emergence of clicks. Another effect of water repellent coatings is that it prevents the formation of a homogeneous layer of frost on the surface of the evaporator. Instead, the icing begins on a small number of inevitable germs on the surface of the evaporator. Formed there ice crystals grow more or less evenly over the total surface and reaches a considerable thickness, before they begin to grow together. This means that, compared with non-waterproof evaporator in the evaporator proposed in the invention, can accumulate large amounts of ice before it forms a cohesive layer, capable of producing clicking sounds.

Another advantage of the island growth of the ice layer is that the surface of the evaporator is relatively long remain free from ice and provide effective heat exchange between the refrigerant and the surrounding evaporator space even when other parts of the surface of the evaporator has accumulated a significant amount of ice. Therefore, the interval between the two phases ottavani which can be selected longer than when not waterproof evaporator, which means for a user of the refrigeration unit with the evaporator in accordance with the invention, greater comfort and lower energy consumption of the refrigeration unit, and thus its operating costs.

Water-repellent coating may preferably contain silicone as an integral part with water-repellent effect.

The implementation of the invention

On the attached drawing shows schematically a partially ice-covered area lamellar (plate) of the evaporator 4 according to the invention. Lamellar evaporator 4 contains the pipe 1, through which during operation is leaking refrigerant. Around the outer surface of the pipe 1 by helical wound lamella 2. To air moisture condensed on lamella evaporator 4, there must be a surface on which condensation would be energetically favorable. Such places are usually condensation nuclei in the form of dust particles, surface heterogeneity, etc. that inevitably exist on the surface of the lamella evaporator, but occupy only a very small part of it. These condensation nuclei during the operation of lamellar evaporator is formed, as shown in the drawing, a lot of compact ice droplets 3. On the surface these icy droplets 3 preferably condenses new moisture from the surrounding lamellar evaporator 4 of the air, so that over time the thickness and the diameter of the droplets 3 are increased, while lying between the droplets surface lamella evaporator 4 a long time remain free from ice and provide effective heat exchange between the circulating lamella evaporator 4 refrigerant and the ambient air.

Cryogenic liquid evaporator includes housing with cryogenic liquid supplying assembly and cooling agent output assembly and heat exchange assembly made in the form of a tube bank, inter-tube space of which includes dump packing. In addition, heat exchange assembly is equipped with gas distributing grid located in lower part of tube bank and having the shape of flattened cone installed with smaller base upwards. EFFECT: use of invention will allow more efficient use of thermal and physical properties of heat exchange assembly of cryogenic liquid evaporator owing to arrangement of dump packing with section having constant resistance, and creating conditions of uniform distribution and passing of warm gas vapours through the head piece.
