The invention relates to the field of livestock and can be used in poultry production to replenish iodine deficiency in broiler chickens.

A known way of increasing the productivity of broiler chickens by introducing into the composition of grain premix (see makartsev N.G. Feeding of farm animals. - K.: state unitary enterprise "Orlistat", 1999. - S-545). The disadvantage of this method is that the iodine in the composition of the premix is subjected to interaction with other elements, where it reduces its activity, turning into a free form, as well as reacting with copper, is converted into iodide copper (insoluble compound in the gastrointestinal tract unabsorbed)that does not fully get the increase in live weight of broiler chickens.

The closest in technical essence is a method that includes a 2-fold injection of iodide of starch (see Korolev V.V. the Influence of different doses of subcutaneous administration of iodide of starch on some morphological parameters of the thyroid gland and the development of reproductive organs of pigs. //Past, present and future of animal science: Materials of international scientific-practical conference/Scientific proceedings of Vigée, issue 62. - Volume 2. - Pig. - Dobrovici, 2004. - Pp.86-93).

The disadvantage of this method is that it cannot be used on zip atah-broilers due to differences in the characteristics of the structure of the body and the intensity of metabolism, and requires adjustment of drug dose and period of cultivation.

The present invention is to increase the gain in live weight of broiler chickens per unit of consumed feed.

This task is solved in that in the method of increasing the productivity of broiler chickens, including a single injection of chickens-broilers under the skin of iodine, an injection carried out to achieve them 28 days of age at a dose of 2.0-4.0 mg on the head.

Table 1 shows the body weight of broiler chickens table 2 - the speed of their growth.

From table 1 it is seen that the Chicks at the beginning of the experiment had no significant differences in live weight. Since the first week after injection chickens experimental groups consistently outperform their peers from the control group, but no significant difference is observed with 44 days of age, where the 3 Chicks and 1 experimental group exceeds the control 27 and 43%, respectively, p<0,05. At the end of fattening, i.e. to 63 days of age, chickens experimental groups were higher than control in live weight 1st experienced by 40.9; 2-I - 13,9 and 3-I - 18,3%, p<0,05 - 0,001.

Analyzing the data of table 2, which characterizes the growth rate of young animals, on average daily gain excess was observed in the 1st experimental group 12.5, in the 2nd and 3rd of 4.5%. On a relative and absolute increase was observed a similar trend.

The method is as follows.

Chickens-broilers 28 day administered 2-4 mg of iodine. The injection is carried out in the neck of the syringe, the hypodermic.

Example 1. After reaching 28 days of age the chickens-broilers (group consisted of 100) to be held injection of iodide of starch at the rate of 2 mg of iodine per 1 head. The live weight of broiler chickens to achieve 63 days of age with Talala 190 g more than in the control group, i.e. broilers increased average daily gain in the average control 4.5, Further reducing the dose of iodine is not advisable, as it does not lead to a noticeable increase in results.

Example 2. After reaching 28 days of age the chickens-broilers (group consisted of 100) to be held injection of iodide of starch in the calculation of 4.0 mg of iodine per 1 head. The live weight of broiler chickens to achieve 63 days of age amounted to 423 g more than the control group, i.e. broilers increased daily gains in average control 12.5, Further increase in the dose of iodine leads to a decrease in the organoleptic characteristics of meat.

The way of increasing the productivity of broiler chickens, including the introduction of drug iodine, characterized in that the quality of the preparation of iodine chickens-broilers on reaching 28 days of age once by subcutaneous injection administered iodide starch in a dose of 2-4 mg iodine/goal.
