Method for preventing and correcting technological stresses during the period of initial and final raising and fattening in cattle

FIELD: animal science.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to introduce perorally an alcohol-honey extract of walnuts of milk-wax maturity at adding glycine and flower pollen. The preparation should be introduced 5 d before and after the impact of stress factors 30 min before feeding per 10-15 ml/animal daily. As a result of applying the suggested preparation the body weight losses in animals are decreased considerably, the body weight gain is increased along with the quantity and quality of animal production.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis and correction.

The invention relates to the field of livestock and can be used to process the stresses arising during the period of breeding, rearing and fattening of young cattle.

The sensitivity of animals to the effects of technological stress can be reduced using tranquilizers (aminosyn, chlorpromazine, triftazin, phenazepam and others) contribute to the General comfort, eliminating affective reactions, reducing anxiety, anxiety [1]. However, the main disadvantage of using is the high cost, short duration of their action, the possibility of accumulation of these substances or their decay products in the animal body, and low efficiency.

Promising means of reducing the negative impact of stress factors is the use of adaptogens are substances that can increase the natural common nonspecific resistance to stress, optimizing the body's own animal physiological processes, thanks to its tonic action.

Known herbal adaptogen Erakond [2], which is an extract of alfalfa with the addition of trace elements. Erakond contains humic substances, amino acids, monosaccharides and has a balanced composition of trace elements. It is established that Erakond is a herbal drug, possess adaptogenic properties, providing the activation of the protective functions of the organism to the adverse effects of technological stress, which affects the normalization of the physiological status of slaughter cattle and reduce losses in meat production.

The disadvantage of this method is the high cost of Anaconda due to the complexity of manufacture and low efficiency.

Known herbal adaptogen powder licorice root, which is fed to animals together with the feed in an amount of 3 g per kg body weight per day (about 1 kg per head per day) for 8 days before transport [3].

The disadvantage of this method is low efficiency and a large number of used adaptogene.

The technical result is to find an effective way to reduce the negative impact of technological stress on the animals during the period of breeding, rearing, feeding and transport.

This is achieved using adaptogene of plant origin - spirit-honey extract walnuts milky-wax ripeness with the addition of glycine and pollen (hereinafter the product). The drug is administered to the animals orally for 5 days before and after exposure to stress factors (group formation, change of places of detention, weighing, vetebrate, castration) for 30 minutes before feeding, 10-15 ml per head per day.

The drug is a strong ISI adaptogen, immunomodulator - significantly enhances the anti-stress protection of animals, acting on the mechanisms of natural tranquilizer and anti-depressant. The proposed range for the number of administered drug is optimal to achieve the desired therapeutic effect.

Example.

To verify the effectiveness of the drug to reduce the consequences of technological stress of young cattle on the principle of steam-analogues were selected 36 calves at the age of 1 month and divided into two groups: experimental and control 18 goals each. Calves from the experimental group for 5 days before and after exposure to stress factors was administered orally to 12 ml per head per day, 30 minutes before meals. The calves of the control group were fed with feed powder licorice root in the amount of 3 g per kg body weight per day for 8 days before exposure to stress factors.

Studies have shown that adding drugs in calves was significantly decreased stress, although not completely removed. In particular, when forming groups (and this is connected with the change of conditions) reduction in growth rate was in the control group, 12.3%, and in experienced to 5.8%.

The most significant effect on the growth rate of young animals had neutering at 6 months of age, in which the animal is x decreased daily weight gains in the control group at 339 g (35.3 per cent), in experimental 265 g (26.7 percent). The research results are summarized in table 1.

Reaction is carried out on 96-cell plastic flat-bottom tablet. Erythrocyte suspension and immunospecific sera are introduced into the cells, shaken, placed into thermostat and reading data. The tablets are shaken with tablet-type photometer. Visible light absorption capacity in bandwidth of 630-650 nm is determined in samples by means of the tablet-type photometer before placing the tablet into thermostat. The samples are incubated at 37°C in thermostat for 40 min. Then, the samples are additionally shaken and incubated for more 1.5-2.0 h, and visible light absorption capacity in bandwidth of 630-650 nm is determined once more.
