EFFECT: improved ecological situation within tree processing zone, improved quality of wood material, reduced wood losses and timber wastes, increased versatility of logging process, reduced consumption of power and time for wood processing and forest reclamation at the place of sawn trees owing to employment of a combination of processes and small-sized maneuverable equipment.

The invention relates to the processing of trees during harvesting and cutting the assortment, in particular when carrying out selective or sanitary removal of trees.

Known timber harvester, including cranes and telescopic boom with additional support for cutting and transporting wood from the area of the workpiece (see RF patent №1754016, CL 01G 23/08, 1990). The present invention is directed to the solution of the technical problem of improving environmental conditions in the treatment area of trees with translation part of waste wood in lumber or building, or the fuel and raw materials, minimise waste wood and forest waste, improving the quality of sawn timber, increasing universalization process of harvesting energy savings of time and resources on wood processing and forest recovery instead of felled trees by combining a number of operations and the possibility of using a small maneuverable vehicles.
