Method and mechanized apparatus for dividing of young birds by their sexuality

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing 12-14-hour aged animals by their sexuality through exposing said animals to infrared radiation field during 3-5 min at radiation field intensity of 250 W on the background of electromagnetic field of supersonic frequency of 110 kHz of corona discharge with porosity of 0.5%. Apparatus has rotary platform with windows and slides and hanging arches with functional modules formed as emitters with lattice screen. Each of functional modules comprises infrared lamp and electric gas discharge lamp powered through resonator from supersonic frequency generator.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and precise dividing of young birds into groups by their sexuality.

The present invention relates to poultry and can be used for the separation of young birds on the floor.

Known methods of separation of young birds on the floor by visual inspection of the sewer with subsequent sorting [1] have low productivity and injure young.

There is a way (as No. 291692) [2] separation of young birds on their orientation in the field of infrared radiation. The disadvantage of this method is the small percentage of accuracy (65%) separation of young birds on the floor.

The aim of the invention is to increase the performance and accuracy of the separation of young birds on the floor in the field of infrared radiation on the background sound corona discharge using a mechanized device.

Using active three-factor experimental design of the study and the optimization criterion was the percentage split of young birds on the floor, and varying parameters were as follows: the voltage at the IR lamp (170...220), the age of the Chicks (11...15 h), the height of the suspension feed (0.5 to 0.8 m), the duty cycle of corona discharge (...0,67 0,33%).

The results of experimental studies of the process of separation of young birds on the floor using the developed device are shown in table 1, 2.

Having empirical expression patterns of separation of young birds on the floor depending on the age of the Chicks, the voltage on the IR-lamp, the height of the suspension of the function module, the duty cycle of corona discharge and examining them to the extreme, has identified the following optimal technological regimes impact:

- power infrared lamp (ICSC 220-250)-250 watts;

- power electrogenerated lamp - 5...8 W;

- the duration of the exposure to electromagnetic radiation is 3...5 min;

- the voltage is the oneness of the electric field - 0,9...1 kV/m;

- frequency electromagnetic fields - 110 kHz;

- duty cycle of corona discharge - 0,5%;

the voltage at the IR-lamp - 200...220 V;

- the height of the suspension feed 0.5 to 0.65 m;

the speed of rotation of the platform 4...7 min-1.

Figure 2 shows the functional module.

The device consists of a turntable 1, arch 2, Sklizkov 3, 4, respectively, for individuals, male and female, functional module 5, consisting of a cartridge irradiator 7, the resonator 8, cartridge IR lamp 9, electrogenerated lamp 10, the housing of the reflector 11, the lamp ICSC 220-250 12, screen grid 13.

Above the rotating platform 1 with Windows suspended three arch 2, located on the radius and shifted relative to each other at an angle 120°.

After sorting Chicks in boxes sent for further operations provided the technological line.
