Method of soil moistening in plant growing

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, process used for growing of plants in open ground.

SUBSTANCE: method involves placing moisture-permeable material onto surface around plants, said material being provided with openings for plants and with 0.5-1 cm wide and 10-20 cm long vertical ribbons made from moisture-proof material. During night, water vapors condense on vertical ribbons due to cooling and vaporization. Owing to large condensation surface of soil cover, large amounts of water may be condensed which are necessary for soil moistening.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by using natural water source such as water vapors of atmospheric air for soil moistening, reduced water vaporization from soil surface, and increased yield of farm crops.

The invention relates to agriculture and can be used for growing plants in the open ground.

There is a method of soil moisture, including water supply pipes and the use of soil floors in order to reduce water evaporation /1/.

The disadvantage of this method is the necessity of organizing a special supply source.

The closest technical solution is the way soil moisture for growing plants using soil moisture natural spring water /2/. On the area where the plants are grown, dig in the soil vertical holes and put the material containing the fine capillaries. The upper part of this material is in the area of the roots and the lower part on the groundwater level. In the absence of moisture in the upper layer moisture from the lower layers rises through the capillaries in the upper layer and moisturizes it.

The disadvantage of this method is the impossibility of its use, if the groundwater is saline or difficult to access.

The purpose of the invention is the use for soil moisture natural water source in the form of water vapor atmospheric air and the reduction of water evaporation from the soil surface.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that when implementing the method. soil moisture for growing plants, including accommodation in agropromyshlenogo material around the plants, vlagopronitsaemym material placed on the soil surface, perform with holes for plants with vertical strips of a width of 5-10 mm and a length of 10-20 cm from a material that does not absorb moisture.

The method is implemented as follows. The surface of the soil where the plants are grown, covered moisture-permeable layer with vertical strips of a width of 5-10 mm and a length of 10-20 cm and with holes for plants /see drawing/. The material from which made the vertical tape should not absorb moisture.

At night from the earth's surface there is a strong radiation. As a consequence, the earth's surface and the adjacent layer of air cooled, airborne water vapor becomes saturated and condenses on the cold surface. Soil overlap with vertical strips is an advanced condensing surface with a large area, which may condense large amounts of water.

For example, the width of the vertical strips is 5 mm, and a length of 10 cm and placed in rows spaced 1 cm in each row of the tape is located at a distance of 1 cm from each other. Then the total number of tapes per 1 sq.m overlap is 100×100=10,000 pieces. The surface area of each strip is equal to 0.5 cm×10cm×2=10 cm2. The total area of all tapes on a 1 to the mkm is 10 cm× 10000=105cm2or 10 m2. If per night on a flat surface condenses 0.2 mm of dew, on 1 sq.m falls 0,02×104=200 cm3water, i.e. 0.2 liters. Under these same conditions at 1 m cover with vertical strips of this size due to the greater condensing surface may fall 10 times of water, 2 litres.

If the width of the tape 10 mm and length of 20 cm and the same General location of the condensation surface of all tapes at 1 m 40 m2.

The material from which made the vertical tape does not absorb water, so it flows down and through the moisture-permeable coating gets into the soil. In the daytime soil cover prevents evaporation from the soil, shading her.

This method soil moisture can be used for growing flowers, vegetables and other
