The present invention relates to a coating composition containing a polyurethane beads, and paper that is coated with the said composition coating at least on one surface, and mainly - on both its surfaces.

To improve the surface quality of paper varieties, belonging to different types or have different compositions on the surface of the paper may be coated.

The composition of the coating, usually used for this purpose is a dispersion containing pigments which may be organic or inorganic pigments.

The coating composition may also contain other additives.

Paper designed for printing, such as paper for books, magazines or annual reports, or papers intended for packaging, often made, causing the coating on the paper base with the help of one or two units for coating, sometimes with subsequent calendering.

In the General case, the finished product made from such paper, must have superior operating characteristics of the surface.

These surface characteristics mainly reflected changes in visually perceived appearance of the paper, i.e. to increase its whiteness, its gloss or opacity.

The study aimed ware is a certain feeling from the surface of the sheet, on which the coating itself is somewhat new.

In the known patent FR 2791368 firm-applicant sold its interest in the development of the packaging sheet, which may have characteristics resembling one of the essential characteristics of the Packed products, in particular, in the case of cosmetic products applied to the skin.

Thus, the purpose of the applicant company is giving a characterisation that makes you remember about the purpose, namely its application on the skin, i.e. makes skin feel soft.

The desired sensation can give, causing the surface of the sheet layer, which contains an expandable thermoplastic microspheres.

Incidentally, this patent was aimed at solving problems of workability of these sheets during printing, in particular problems of separation of the sheets in the feet due to the anti-slip properties of the microspheres.

Generally speaking, thin coated paper often creates serious problems during printing or during processing operations, particularly pressing in the context of offset printing and associated with shedding and dirty prints.

Shedding corresponds to delamination of the coating in the form of a dry powder during printing, and this phenomenon becomes more noticeable with successive passes of the sheet in the printing or processing anywaysi machines.

This phenomenon is a result of poor dispensing a binder and/or pigment, resulting in the percentage of pigment is overvalued relative to the binder.

This may also be due to the size and shape of the pigment particles.

Dirty prints result from the transfer of ink from one sheet to another, in particular, during installation in the foot.

Due to this, on the reverse side of the sheet there are often more or less intense spots of ink, created by ink on the front side of the underlying sheet.

When the stack of sheets apart, audible chatter of leaves more or less loud sound of crunching.

This phenomenon, if it is light, is called the fixation or drying of the printed ink.

If the division participate elements of the paper, this is called plucking.

If it is no longer possible to separate the sheets from each other, this is called adhesion.

This phenomenon arises from the fact that the paper is not suitable for ink, you may have insufficient ability to absorb ink, and also due to the fact that the paper, which has an uneven surface, requires too much ink to print correctly.

In light of these considerations, the firm-the applicant has attempted to develop a paper with silky to the touch and has a floor is predpochtitelno on both its surfaces, and not cause problems with the suitability for printing and processing mentioned above.

Consequently, the primary object of the invention is to develop a coating composition for varieties of coated paper designed for offset printing method, characterized in that the pigments used in the coating, are polyurethane beads having an average size less than 10 micrometers, and most of about 7 micrometers.

In particular, the invention differs in that the binder used in the coating is an aqueous emulsion of polyurethane, and in the preferred embodiment, a soft polyurethane having a degree of elongation greater than 500%, or equal to this value.

In particular, the invention is characterized by the fact that the level of binding relative to the pigment exceeds 40% in terms of dry weight, or equal to this value, and preferably in excess of 200% or equal to this value.

Another object of the invention is to develop a coated paper with a silky to the touch and contains at least one surface coated with the coating composition described above, and mostly both its surface.

The mentioned paper differs in that it can be printed using the offset method when neznachitel is different and, in fact, irrelevant education messy impressions and shattering.

The base paper composed mainly of cellulose fibers and has a mass in the range between 70 and 500 g/m2, preferably in the range between 100 and 300 g/m2.

In accordance with the specific case of the paper is transparent or translucent.

More specifically, the paper is a Ghost.

The term "blueprint" is known as meaning the paper characterized the international standard ISO 4046-1978 in part 6.94.

More specifically, the invention is characterized by the fact that the paper is a blueprint, produced in particular by intense heating of cellulose fibres, of which it is composed.

In particular, the invention is characterized by the fact that the mass of the layer, at least one of the surfaces is in the range between 2 and 10 g/m2in terms of dry weight, and preferably in the range between 3 and 6 g/m2.

The above paper also differs in that the coefficient of dynamic friction between the surface of the front side of the coated sheet and the corresponding surface of the back side of the other sheet and also coated, less than 1.0 or equal to this value when measured in accordance with standard NF Q-03-082 using block weighing 200 g

The coefficient of dynamic friction reflects the ability of the sheet to stick at the beginning of the shift; this coefficient is bigger, so true is it to start moving sheet in the foot.

Below is a description of the comparative examples and non-restrictive examples of the invention, as well as other possible benefits.

Results

The test results for examples 1-5 are shown in table 1.

Found that, although most varieties of paper have a satisfactory response when testing for shedding and education messy prints, only the sizes of the beads, smaller than 10 micrometers, allow to obtain satisfactory silky to the touch.

The test results for examples 6-13 allow us to conclude that, choosing the size of the beads, which gives the opportunity to regain the feeling of silkiness, you need to then choose the level of binder in excess of 40% or equal to this value in order to have the proper shedding, and in excess of 200% or equal to this value in order to have the proper education of dirty sheets.

That is why it is considered satisfactory shedding less than 2 and the formation of dirty sheets less than 0.1.

Obtained under an electron microscope image of the paper, which - from the point of view of the firm-suavitel is - has silky to the touch, are presented in figure 1 and 2.

This paper was obtained by deposition on both surfaces of the paper Conqueror CX 202, having a mass of 100 g/m2following coating composition:

2.8 kg of water;

0.03 kg moisturizing agents Texapon Z95P;

81 kg binder Rolflex PAD supplied by the company Lamberti;

6.1 kg polyurethane beads Daiplacoat RHU 5070 supplied by the company Promecome;

1 kg thickening substances CMC Bianose 7M65 the 2.5%supplied by the company Aqualon;

in proportion to 5.4 g/m2in terms of dry weight, on the surface, and the above quantities are expressed by weight with kettlebells for General use.

The resulting paper was subjected to the subsequent calendering.

Pictures respectively represent a top view, magnified 200 times, and slice magnified 2000 times.

The resulting paper is really silky to the touch on these two surfaces.

When measuring the coefficient of dynamic friction of the coated paper on the paper in accordance with standard NF Q-03-082 using block weighing 200 g, the resulting value of 0.8, which can guarantee good machinability sheets for printing or processing machines.
