SUBSTANCE: tubular key contains jaws with through grooves of "dovetail" type on end surface, replacement dies mounted therein, holders. On side surfaces of jaws, grooves of "dovetail" type are made, into which sliders are inserted for holding replacement dies along end surfaces. Through apertures are made in jaws, wherein spring-loaded holders for fastening sliders are inserted.

The invention relates to pipe tongs used for screwing and unscrewing of the drill and casing pipes in the oil and gas industry.

Known mechanical keys for pipes (A.S. No. 1355688, E 21 In 19/16, 1987; A.S. No. 1650416, 25 In 13/50, 1991), comprising a housing, an actuator, a grip in the form of levers, spacer spring, jaws and dies with a cylindrical support surfaces. Die installed in the jaws on pins and spring-loaded spacer spring. The disadvantage is the difficulty of replacement of dies, such as the operation of the key, because the downhole fluid, acting on the pinned connection, causes corrosion, which leads to the complexity of the disassembly. In addition, the disadvantage is the presence of the removable parts of the jaw when changing dies, in particular pins and spacer springs, which reduces the reliability of the design, because it is not excluded the possibility of the parts in the casing and damage to downhole equipment.

The closest analogue is selected technical solution in A.S. No. 1745865, E 21 In 19/16, 1992, in which pipe wrench, contains, jaw-through grooves of dovetail"that have dies and clamps to fasten them. The clamps are made in the form of plates with two legs at each end, each plate is installed in the groove under the die, with one leg of each pair is bent to the lusty, and the other to the plate. The disadvantage is the need for multiple extension ends of the locking plates when replacing the dies, which may lead to their destruction due to loss of strength, and the need to remove the plates from the jaw.

The technical task of the invention is to improve the reliability of the mount interchangeable dies pipe wrench.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the pipe key, containing the jaw with continuous grooves of dovetail on the end surface installed in them interchangeable dies, clamps, on the lateral surfaces of the jaws are made grooves of dovetail", in which the inserted slides, removable clamping dies on the end surfaces, the jaws are made through holes, into which are inserted the spring clips securing the floaters.

The technical result is achieved due to the run-on side surfaces of the jaw grooves of dovetail" and installing them in sliders, secure interchangeable dies. The reliability of the pipe wrench is increased and due to the absence in the design of the removable parts of the jaw when changing dies.

Pipe wrench contains jaw 1, a removable die 2, inserted in the ends through the slots of dovetail" 3 jaw 1, floaters, 4, inserted in the side in the grooves of dovetail" 5 performed on the lateral surfaces of the jaws 1. FIELD: mechanical engineering, particularly drilling string and casing pipe connection equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method involves stopping one pipe and rotating another pipe for screwing and unscrewing of above pipes with the use of hydraulic drive and braking system to transmit differently directed torques with the same data along with reactive moment reduction by drive and braking system. Device comprises two coaxial power tongs. Each power tong includes body and pipe squeezing mechanism. The power tongs have common drive including high-speed reducer and differential block kinematically connected one to another. Differential block comprises body with outer and inner toothed crowns, planet carrier with three satellites installed on the carrier, the first tong arranged in body, driven gear kinematically connected to planet carrier and the second tong installed in the body and adapted to cooperate with corresponding gears of pipe squeezing mechanisms. Pipe squeezing mechanism of the first tong is fixedly secured to braking pulley of braking system installed on the first tong body. The braking system comprises four pressing shoes and cylindrical case with hydraulic cylinder for shoe pressing arranged so that cylindrical case may rotate with pulley and pipe squeezing mechanism of the first tong relative pipe squeezing mechanism axis. The cylindrical case is additionally provided with two rests. One rest is fixedly connected with cylindrical case and cooperates with two hydraulic cylinders, which are adapted for thread tightening/unfastening. Another rest is connected with cylindrical case by hinged axis and also cooperates with two other hydraulic cylinders, adapted for thread tightening/unfastening, which provides elimination of reverse reaction and increase of pipe squeezing mechanism torque and locking moment.

EFFECT: possibility to use one drive provided with differential gear to perform screwing/unscrewing operations.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises rotary gear with connector provided with pentahedral profile from inner side thereof and cartridge built in the pentahedral profile. The cartridge has upper and lower discs with four clamping means arranged between them in radial direction. The clamping means are made as shuttle mechanisms comprising bodies and jaws with hard-alloy dies. The bodies are built in guiding cartridges and may perform radial movement during rotary gear rotation. Movable pins are built in clamping device body.
