Automatic control system of apparatuses for air cooling of natural gas

FIELD: systems for automatic control of technological processes for cooling natural gas with use of apparatus for air cooling, possibly in after-compressing stations of gas fields in northernmost regions for sustaining optimal operation modes of air cooling apparatus for natural gas.

SUBSTANCE: system includes frequency-controlled drive unit; unit for processing measurement information and for automatic control; temperature pickups; electronic unit of temperature pickups; computing unit; two actuating devices; blowers. Signals of temperature pickups are fed through electronic unit to unit for processing measurement information and for automatic control. Said unit for processing measurement information judges (on base of inlet signals) what blowers are to be used and sends respective electric signal to computing unit. With the aid of computing unit one actuating device turns on electric motors of blowers due to their alternative connection with frequency-controlled drive and connects with AC-source electric motors of blowers. Other actuating device controls temperature of walls of heat exchange tubes in all sections of air cooling apparatus of gas and connects with frequency-controlled drive electric motor of blower of that section where temperature of walls of heat exchange tubes differs from preset value. After achieving preset temperature value of walls of heat exchange tubes of selected section, apparatus turns off electric motor of blower from frequency-controlled drive and switches it to AC source. Similar operations may be realized for electric motors of blowers if necessary.

EFFECT: simplified system for automatic control of apparatus for air cooling of natural gas.

The invention relates to the technical means of automation of technological processes of cooling the natural gas with the use of air cooling units (ACU), mainly at the booster stations, gas fields of the Far North, is intended to maintain the optimum performance of air cooling units of natural gas.

Known automatic control system AVO oil (mechatronics, automation, control. 2003, No. 1. Pp.33-36), based on the change speed of fan motors. Closest to the technical nature of the claimed technical solution is the automatic control system AVO natural gas (Manual of automatic control air coolers raw gas recirculation SU-99. Cheboksary, 2003), containing temperature sensors walls of the heat exchange tubes AVO gas, the VFD and the processing unit of measurement and automatic control.

In practical use is selected as a prototype of an automatic control system AVO gas problems arise due to the need to use with each fan motor AVO gas expensive VFD that, especially in winter, is riodic to significant energy consumption.

The technical result of the invention is to simplify and cheapen the hardware design of the automatic control system AVO natural gas.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the known system of automatic control of the air-cooling unit of natural gas, including variable frequency drive for controlling the operation of the fan motors and electrically connected via the processing unit of measurement and automatic control of temperature sensors, unlike the prototype, inputs of the computing unit and two actuators, electrically connected with the processing unit of measurement and automatic control and frequency-controlled drive, and one execution unit performs a smooth running fan motors by alternate connection to the frequency-controlled drive and connects to the AC power supply is included in the work motors fans, and the other control device, controlling by means of temperature sensors and processing unit of measurement and automatic control of the temperature of the walls of heat exchanger tubes in all sections of the air cooling of the gas, connects to frequency and R is Guliyeva to drive the fan motor section, in which the value of the wall temperature of the heat transfer tubes differs from the set value, for its mode automatically maintain the set temperature of the walls of the heat exchange tubes of the selected section of the air cooling of the gas, turns off the fan motor from the VFD as it reaches the wall temperature of the heat transfer tubes of the selected section of the air gas cooling setpoint and translate it into AC power, producing similar operation with motors from other fans if necessary.

The invention is illustrated in the drawing. In the drawing:

1 - section of the air cooling gas (for example, AVO type AUG-75S is a bunch of 528 piperacetazine bimetallic tubes, arranged in staggered order, provided with inlet and outlet manifolds and cooled by two fans that run from asynchronous motors);

2, 3, 4 - temperature sensors walls of the heat exchange tubes AVO gas;

5 is an electronic block temperature sensors walls of the heat exchange tubes AVO gas that converts via RS-485 interface the measured values of the wall temperature of the heat transfer tubes AVO gas into a signal suitable for processing in the processing unit of measure concentration of the nutrient information and automatic control;

6 is a processing unit of measurement and automatic control, managing the automatic control system AVO natural gas;

7 computing unit, providing Executive devices in the required mode;

8 - the Executive unit, which connects to variable-frequency drives for electric motors of the respective fans, exercising, thus, their smooth running, and connect to AC power included fan motors for operation in the operating mode;

9 - the Executive unit, which switches VFD to automatically maintain the desired temperature of the walls of the heat exchange tubes AVO gas;

10 - VFD designed for soft starting and speed control and direction of rotation of the motors of the group of fans 11, 12.

The proposed system of automatic control of AVO natural gas is as follows.

First, the processing unit of measurement and automatic control based on the measurement data received through the electronic unit from the temperature sensors, determines what fans you want to use in the work, and sends relevant to the respective managing an electrical signal to the additional processing unit. Using additional computing unit execution unit 8 performs soft start motors selected fans by alternate connection to the frequency-controlled drive, and then mounts included in the operation of the fan motors to AC. After running all selected fans and translate them into a working mode, the processing unit of measurement and automatic control to determine whether the deviation values of the wall temperature of the heat transfer tubes from all sections of the AVO gas from the valid values. If the specified deflection control device 9 using additional computing unit switches to the frequency-controlled drive motor of the fan section, in which the temperature of the walls of the heat exchange tubes differs from the set value, for its mode automatically maintain the set temperature of the walls of the heat exchange tubes of the selected section of the air cooler gas. As the wall temperature of the heat transfer tubes of the selected partition AVO gas setpoint control device 9 turns off the fan motor from the VFD and converts it to AC power. If necessary, the Executive unit 9 produces the same operation with motors from other fans.

Simplify and reduce the cost of the hardware design of the system is achieved by reducing the number of expensive variable frequency drives (in the proposed system of automatic control of AVO natural gas to alternately smooth running of the group of fans, and a fan mode automatically maintain the set temperature of the walls of the heat exchange tubes AVO gas is only one VFD).

The proposed system of automatic control of air cooling devices natural gas provides high performance vehicles throughout the year. Particularly important is the use of the proposed system in the winter when there is the possibility of formation of gas hydrates in the heat exchanger tube AVO gas.

The use of the proposed system of automatic control of the air-cooling unit of natural gas is significantly lower capital investment, energy costs and repair of heat exchanger tubes AVO gas.

Industrial tests showed that the system of automatic control of the air-cooling unit of natural gas is reliable (the act of production testing of the proposed system included).

With the system of automatic control of air cooling devices natural gas, containing the VFD controlling the operation of fan motors and electrically connected via the processing unit of measurement and automatic control of temperature sensors, characterized in that it additionally introduced the electronic unit temperature sensors, computing unit and two actuators, electrically connected with the processing unit of measurement and automatic control and frequency controlled drive, the processing unit of measurement and automatic control based on the measurement data received through the electronic unit from the temperature sensors, determines what fans you want to use in the work, and sends the appropriate managing electrical signal in the additional computational the unit with which one actuator provides smooth running fan motors by alternate connection to the frequency-controlled drive and connects to the AC power supply is included in the operation of the fan motors, and other control device, controlling by means of temperature sensors and processing unit of measurement and automatic control of the temperature of the walls of Teploobmennik in all sections of the air cooling of the gas, connects to the frequency-controlled drive motor ventilation section in which the temperature of the walls of the heat exchange tubes differs from the set value, for its mode automatically maintain the set temperature of the walls of the heat exchange tubes of the selected section of the air cooling of the gas, turns off the fan motor from the VFD as it reaches the wall temperature of the heat transfer tubes of the selected section of the air gas cooling setpoint and translate it into AC power, producing similar operation with motors from other fans if necessary.
