Below, with reference to figure 1-12, revolutsia description of the process cartridge and electrophotographic device forming a color image in the first specific embodiment.

[Description General design of the electrophotographic device of forming a color image]

First will describe the overall design of the device forming a color image with reference to figure 2, which shows the cross section of the device forming the image using the electrophotographic process, in this particular embodiment.

As shown in figure 2, the color laser printer A (which hereinafter will be referred to simply as "printer") is chetyrehyarusny printer (flow type), which contains four process cartridge 20 (20Y, 20M, 20C and 20Bk and the intermediate transferring element (medium), 40.

These four process cartridge 20 (20Y, 20M, 20C and 20Bk) installed in the main site color printer And a vertical stop. Cartridge 20Y is stored developer of yellow color, and this cartridge forms an image of the yellow developer. Cartridge 20M stores a Magenta developer, and this cartridge forms the image of the Magenta developer. Cartridge 20C stores the developer turquoise, and this cartridge forms the image of the cyan developer. Cartridge 20Bk stores the developer of black color, and this cartridge forms the image of the black developer. The intermediate transferring element 40 is own the th element, which temporarily transferred image layers developers that are in the process cartridge 20, creating the image (color image)formed from the developers, different in color, are transferred from this item to the medium P printed information.

After transferring the color image on the medium P printed information, this medium P printed information is transported in the device 60 of fastening. Then, the device 60 fixing the color image is fixed on the medium P printed information. Then three pairs 71, 72 and 73 of the pin rollers deduce medium P printed information on which you just fixed color image on the input tray 70, which is part of the upper surface of the primary node.

Four cartridge 20 can be individually set in the primary site And the printer or to extract them from this node.

Next, with reference to figure 2 and 3 will be given in a logical order description of the construction of the various parts of the device forming the image. Figure 3 presents the conditional section of the process cartridge in this particular embodiment. It should be noted that, because all cartridges are the same with respect to some given constructive sign, so in this regard, constructive p is inacom will be described only the cartridge 20Y, while the rest of the process cartridge in this regard, the structural characteristic described will not.

[Drum with a photosensitive surface layer]

The drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer in this particular embodiment, has an aluminum cylinder and a layer organic photosensitive materials applied as a coating on the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface. He rests rotatably on the frame 26 of the cartridge 20. On the rear side (2) of the cartridge 20 is transmitting the driving force from the electric motor cartridge (not shown) to the longitudinal end of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, so that the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer rotates in a counterclockwise direction (figure 3), shows the symbol of the arrow in the drawing, in synchronism with the image formation.

[Charging tool]

Charging means 22 (22Y) is provided with a charging roller 22A, made with the possibility of application of voltage. Peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer uniformly charging the charging roller 22A.

[Exposure tool]

The drum 21 from the photosensitive surface is exposed by scanning the existing part 50. The scanning part 50 in this particular embodiment, is equipped with two polygonal mirrors 52 (52YM and 52CBk), each of which is made with the possibility of sending a beam of light forming the image, in two of the cartridge 20. Thus, the light beam forming the image, you can direct all four of the cartridge 20. The signals forming the images sequentially issued in the laser diode (not shown), and this laser diode projects a beam of light 51 (51Y), forming the image and displaying the signals forming the image on the polygon mirror 52, which rotates at high speed. Light 51, forming the image, is reflected (deflected) by polygonal mirror 52 (52YM), and then is reflected (deflected reflective lens 54 (54Y). Then the light 51, forming the image, is directed through the focal lens 53 (53Y) on the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, which rotates at a predetermined peripheral speed. When the light 51, forming the image reaches the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, numerous points of the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer selectively exhibited, resulting in the peripheral surface of the drum 21 with svetochuvstvitelen the m surface layer is formed electrostatic latent (latent) image.

[Processing tool]

Processor means has a roller 23 (23Y) with the developer, through which manifests the above-mentioned electrostatic latent image. For the manifestation of the latent image roller 23 with the developer is parallel to the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, and the peripheral surface of this roller is in contact with the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface, and the roller rotates in such a direction that the contact zone between the roller 23 with the developer and the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer of the peripheral surface of the roller 23 with the developer moves in the same direction as the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface. The roller 23 with the developer to produce a visible image, that is, the image formed by the developer on the peripheral surface of the drum 21.

[Intermediate transferring member]

The intermediate transferring element 40 is an element, which one after another carry several layers of images formed with the help of the developers on the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface by means of rollers 23 with developers during the formation of the color image. The intermediate transferring e is ement 40 is driven in a clockwise direction (figure 2) with the same peripheral speed, as the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface.

After forming on the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface of the image formed with the help of developers, are transferred one after another onto the intermediate transferring element 40 through the main rollers 42 (42Y, 42M, 42S and 42Bk) for image transfer. Each roller 42 for image transfer is thus that is held pressed against the corresponding drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, the intermediate transferring element 40 is enclosed between the platen 42 for the image transfer and drum 21 from the photosensitive surface.

After transferring multiple images formed with the help of developers, layers on the intermediate transferring element 40, the intermediate transferring element 40 and the auxiliary roller 5 for transferring images clamped between the medium P printed information and together convey this medium P printed information. As a result, color images formed with the help of developers, all simultaneously transferred onto the intermediate transferring element 40 on the medium P printed information.

The intermediate transfer member (intermediate transferring belt) 40 in this particular embodiment, is with the battle seamless polymeric films with the County approximately 620 mm It is stretched around a driving roller 41, the support roller 43 of the intermediate transferring element and a tension roller 44, based on these rollers. The tension roller 44 is held depressed out of the path, which forms an intermediate transferring element 40, under the influence of pressure applied to the longitudinal ends of the roller 44. Assuming this structural arrangement, if the circuit size of the intermediate transferring element 40 changes due to changes in the internal temperature and/or humidity after some time, this change is compensated by this structural arrangement, resulting in tension, which is subjected to the intermediate transferring element remains essentially constant.

In addition, an intermediate transferring element 40 is attached can be rotated to the primary host And the device (printer), as a result, it is possible the rotation of the element around the axis of rotation of a driving roller 41. The driving force is transmitted from a motor (not shown) to the rear end (2) of a driving roller 41, which provides a circumferential rotation of the intermediate transferring element 40 in a clockwise direction (figure 2) synchronously with the formation of the image.

[The feed station]

The feeding station is a station for transporting the of sitela R printed information in the cartridge 20 in the primary host And the printer. It contains the cartridge 1, made with the possibility of hosting numerous media P print information, the roller 2 and a pair of leveling rollers 3, and so on

During the imaging roller 2 is driven in synchronism with the image formation, so that the media P of the printed information in the cassette 1 are served one after another from the cassette 1 in the direction to a pair of supporting rollers 3, which performs in sequence the process of retaining medium P printed information in the standby mode, and the process of transporting of the medium P printed information on the direction of the intermediate transferring element 40 for alignment medium P printed information with images on the intermediate transferring element 40 during the process of image formation.

[Transfer station]

Transfer station has an auxiliary roller 5 for transferring the image, which is driven into rotation and is arranged to move about in the vertical direction (figure 2). Synchronously with the arrival of color images on the station of the transfer roller 5 for transferring image is pressed by a Cam (not shown) in the intermediate transferring element 40 in the carrier of R printable media by application of pressure to a predetermined value, when the volume of the medium P printed information is nipped between the intermediate transferring element 40 and the platen 5 for image transfer. During this process, the roller 5 to the image transfer is subjected to the offset. As a result, the image formed with the help of the developers on the intermediate transferring element 40 is transferred to the medium P printed information. By the way, the intermediate transferring element 40 and the platen 5 for image transfer are driven independently from each other. Therefore, after the process of transfer medium P printed information, which was concluded between the intermediate transferring element 40 and the roller 5 for transferring the image during the transfer process, is transported to the left (figure 2), reaching device 60 of the fastening.

[Station docking]

At the station fixing color images formed with the help of the developers on the medium P printed information, anchored on the medium P printed information device 60 fixing that contains the node 61 direction of the film and the pressure roller 62. Node 61 direction of the film contains a ceramic heater 63 for heating the medium P printed information. Provided that the structural composition of the medium P printed information is subjected to heat and pressure, resulting in the color images formed using the developers, are fixed to the medium P printed information.

[Action images]

Below is a description of the operation of forming an image using the device, the construction of which is described above.

First of all, note that the pickup roller 2, as shown in figure 2, is rotated, the conveying thus one media P print information contained in the cassette 1, to a pair of supporting rollers 8.

Incidentally, the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer and the intermediate transferring element 40 to rotate independently from each other in the direction of the arrow (figure 2), with a given peripheral speed (below which will be referred to as process speed).

After charging by the charging roller 22A along its entire peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface is exposed to the light beam of the laser light forming the image). As a result, the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer is formed electrostatic latent image.

1: the Formation of a yellow image

The latent image corresponding to the yellow color component of the target image, form, subjecting the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface exposure light beam 51Y laser corresponding to the yellow color component of the target image, projected from the scanning part 50. Simultaneously with the formation of the latent image roller 23Y yellow developer rotates with the simultaneous application of voltage, the polarity of which is the same as the drum 21Y with the photosensitive surface layer, this roller 23Y with the yellow developer to yellow developer stuck to the latent image on the drum 21Y with the photosensitive layer, i.e. to manifest the latent image with the yellow developer. Manifest latent image, i.e. the image is formed by using a yellow developer, is transferred by the main roller for transfer) onto the peripheral surface of the intermediate transferring element 40 in place, in which the roller 42Y for image transfer is pressed against the drum 21Y with the photosensitive layer, and the intermediate transferring element 40 is concluded between the roller 42Y for the image transfer and drum 21Y with the photosensitive layer.

2: the Formation of a Magenta image

Then, the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface is exposed to a beam of laser light corresponding to the Magenta color component of the target image projected from the scanning part 50, thus forming a latent image according to dtweedie Magenta color component of the target image on the peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface. In this case, the latent image corresponding to the Magenta color component is formed so that its front (in relation to the direction of rotation of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer) edge aligned with the front (with respect to the direction of movement of the intermediate transferring element 40) edge image formed by using the yellow toner on the intermediate transferring element 40. Simultaneously with the formation of the latent image roller 23M with Magenta developer rotates, showing the latent image corresponding to the Magenta color component, as in the case of a latent image corresponding to the yellow color component. Manifest latent image, i.e. the image formed using the Magenta developer is applied (through the main roller to transfer the image formed using a yellow developer on the peripheral surface of the intermediate transferring element 40.

3: the Formation of a cyan image

Then carry out a process similar to that required for forming a Magenta image to the overlay image formed using the cyan developer (cyan image), images are formed using yellow and Magenta developers, yet the way that the leading edge of the image is aligned with the front edges of the yellow and Magenta images on the peripheral surface of the intermediate transferring element 40.

4: Formation of the black image

Then carry out a process similar to that required for forming a Magenta image to overlay an image formed using the black developer (black images), images are formed using yellow, Magenta and cyan developers, so that the leading edge of this image is aligned with the front edges of the yellow, Magenta and cyan images on the peripheral surface of the intermediate transferring element 40.

Position S and 21Bk and position 42S and 42Bk in the drawings denote respectively the drums with the photosensitive surface layers and the main rollers to transfer the images corresponding to the cyan and black color components, portable one after another.

As described above, the process comprising the step of forming the latent image, the stage of manifestation of the latent image to obtain a visible image, and the step of transferring the visible image on the intermediate transferring element 40, sequentially carried out for yellow, Magenta, cyan and black color component CE is avago image in the mentioned order. As a result, on the surface of the intermediate transferring element 40 is formed full-color image is formed using four developers, i.e. yellow, Magenta, cyan, and black developers.

By the way, before completion of the transfer of the image formed using the black developer on the intermediate transferring element 40 a pair of supporting rollers 3 releases the carrier of R printable media, which was kept in standby for further transportation.

Except for the period during which the four color images are transferred onto the intermediate transferring element 40, the roller 5 for transferring the image is held in the lower position, being withdrawn from the intermediate transferring element 40. However, immediately before the transfer of the four color images on the intermediate transferring element 40 roller 5 for transferring image is moved forward by the Cam (not shown) for holding the carrier of R printed information is pressed against the intermediate transferring element 40 roller 5 for transferring images. Further, during the auxiliary transfer to four images to the roller 5 for transferring the image continuously applied bias, the polarity of which is opposite to the polarity of the developers. As a result, all four of the colored picture is, which form a full color image on the intermediate transferring element 40, immediately transferred to the medium P printed information.

After that, the medium P printed information is separated from the intermediate transferring element 40 and transported to the docking station on which the image formed with the help of developers, are fixed. Then the medium P printed information to display in the input tray 70, located at the top of the primary node And the printer through the four pairs 71, 72, 73 and 74, exit rollers, ending the operation of forming a full color image on a single medium P printed information.

Below is a detailed description of the process cartridge, mechanism for installation of the process cartridge and electrophotographic device of image formation in this particular embodiment.

[Process cartridge]

Figure 3 presents the conditional section of the process cartridge 20. The cartridge 20 contains: drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer of the charging roller 22A as a processing means, the roller 23 with the developer as the processing means and the frame 26 of the cartridge which completely posted the above components, etc. When the amount of developer in the cartridge 20, in VI the m node device, reduced to a critical level, the operator replaces it to maintain a high level of image quality. In the production device for the formation of full color images in this particular embodiment, are the four process cartridge 20, i.e. technological cartridges (20Y, 20M, 20C and 20Bk)for forming yellow, Magenta, cyan, and black images, independent of each other. These four process cartridge, color coded by the developer, be distinguished and duration, depending on the types of images generated by the device forming the image. Therefore, the developing device of the image formation, providing the use of its four process cartridges differing in shown color and are independent of each other, allows a more efficient use of each of the four types of process cartridges.

In this particular embodiment, the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, cleaning the knife 24 and the charging roller 22 supported on the frame 26a of the drum, which is part of the frame 26 of the cartridge, while the mixing element 29 for stirring the developer, the roller 23 with the developer, the pad roller 28 for feeding the developer to the roller 23 shows the holder and the knife 25 to schistki developer, designed for controlling the amount of the developer supported on the shaft 23 with the developer supported on the frame 27 processing means, which is another part of the frame 26 of the cartridge. Storing the developer part that is used to store the developer, is part of the frame 27 with the funds.

In other words, the frame 26 of the cartridge in this particular embodiment, includes a frame 26a of the drum frame 27 developer tools.

[Method of installation of the process cartridge]

Figure 4 presents the conditional cross-section of the device forming the image, the cover of which is opened, in this particular embodiment.

As shown in figure 4, the axis 11 of rotation, around which you can rotate the cover 10 of the primary node And device imaging, located in the lower front end portion of the primary node A. the Intermediate transferring element 40 is attached to the cover 10. Therefore, when the cover 10 is opened, the intermediate transferring element 40 is rotated around the axis 11 of rotation together with the lid 10, which allows the operator to access the cartridges 20 (20Y, 20M, 20C and 20Bk).

The cover 10 is opened or closed when you need to install one or more of the cartridges 20 in the primary node And the device or removing one or more of the cartridges 20 from the primary node Ustroystva.

The primary node And the device is equipped with a pair of movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, which together hold the cartridges 20 (20Y, 20M, 20C and 20Bk). The axis of rotation of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge are in the upper part of the primary node And the device. Moving guides 30 and 32 of the cartridge is mechanically connected to the cover through zvenevogo mechanism. Thus, the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge is moved by moving the cover 10, when the cover 10 is opened, the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge is rotated a predetermined angle (about 35° in this particular embodiment) around the axis 36 of rotation from position 200 imaging (figure 4) in position 300 ink cartridge is installed (figure 2), in which they are held while the cartridges 20 (20Y, 20M, 20C and 20Bk) when installed in a movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge or when extracted from these guides.

As for the locations of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge relative to the main host And the device, the movable guide 30 of the cartridge is located at one end of the primary node And the device in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the cartridge 20 is installed in the main host And the device, and the movable guide 32 of the cartridge is at the other end. Mobile nab alausa 30 cartridge holds each cartridge 20 at one end of the cartridge 20 in the longitudinal direction of the cartridge 20, and the movable guide 32 of the cartridge holds each cartridge 20 at the other end. In addition, the movable rails 30 and 32 are moved by movement of the cover 10, as described above.

The guides 30 and 32 respectively provided with bearings 34 and 35 cartridges, which set the cartridge 20. When the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge are in position 300 of image formation (figure 2), the supports 34 and 35 are inclined approximately at an angle 10° relative to the horizontal plane, and when the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge are in position 200 of the ink cartridge is installed (figure 4), in which the cartridge 20 is installed in the guides 30 and 32, the bearings 34 and 35 are inclined approximately at an angle of 45° relative to the horizontal plane.

Removing the cartridge 20 from the primary node And the device position 200 of the ink cartridge is installed (figure 4) is a position in which the cartridge 20 is removed from the rails 30 and 32.

When installing the cartridge 20 in the primary node And the device or removing the cartridge 20 from the primary node And device, the cartridge 20 should be inserted in the bearings 34 and 35 or extract from them in a direction parallel to the supports 34 and 35, while maintaining the primary node And the device in the condition shown in figure 4. In other words, when the cartridge 20 in the guides 30 and 32 or removing the cartridge 20 from the notches 30 and 32, the operator is R can hold the process cartridge 20 at an angle of about 45° relative to the horizontal direction.

Therefore, in the direction in which the cartridge 20 is inserted or removed, there is no obstacle that makes it easier for the operator inserting or removing the cartridge 20. In addition, the guides 30 and 32 are tilted by about 40°. Therefore, when the cartridge 20 is provided on the input parts of the guides 30 and 32, the cartridge 20 is automatically begins to slide inside the supports 34 and 35 (the guides 30 and 32).

Then, the cartridge 20 is stopped when it contacts with the end surface 30A) of the supports 34 and 35. In other words, the above structural arrangement makes the installation process cartridge 20 in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge intuitive for the operator, ensuring that the process cartridge 20 is properly inserted into the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge.

Bearing 34 is a part of the movable rail 30 of the cartridge, while the bearing 35 is part of the movable guide 32 of the cartridge (figure 4). Thus, one end of the cartridge 20 is provided on the support 34 and the other end of the cartridge 20 is provided on the support 35.

Next, with reference to Fig.7 and 8, will be described first parts of the cartridge 20 through which the cartridge 20 comes into contact with the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge and which are supported by these movable on rawsumer 30 and 32 of the cartridge.

The first contact portion 26a and 30b (7) of the cartridge 20 through which the cartridge 20 rests on the movable guide 30 of the cartridge are located on the longitudinal end of the process cartridge 20, the cartridge 20 is driven (i.e. on the longitudinal end having a coupling 87).

In addition, the first contact portion 26a and 30b are integral parts of the frame 26b of the drum, which is part of the cartridge frame 26 and rests on the support 34 of the first movable guide 30 of the cartridge (figure 1).

The second contact portion 26b, 26C, 27A and 27b (Fig), through which the cartridge 20 rests on the movable guide 32 of the cartridge are located at the other longitudinal end of the process cartridge 20, and more specifically on the longitudinal end from which the cartridge 20 is not driven (i.e. on the longitudinal end without coupling 87). They are also parts of the frame 26 of the cartridge.

They rely on the support 35 of the second movable guide 32 of the cartridge (figure 1).

Next will describe the steps that must be done to accommodate properly the first and second contact parts of the cartridge 20 through which the cartridge 20 is located on the supports.

First, with reference to Fig.7, will be described step of positioning the first contact portions 26a and 30b on the support 34.

7 shows that one of the longitudinal ends of the toner cartridges is and 20 should be placed in the first movable guide 30 of the cartridge, and then push inward along the movable rail 30 of the cartridge (in the direction indicated by the X arrow) to ensure the sliding of the cartridge 20 inside, causing the first contact portion 26a and 30b will be supported by the support 34. The first contact portion 26a is an integral part of the bottom wall of the frame 26b of the drum.

The first contact portion 30b represents the controller and turn prevents rotation of the cartridge 20 while the cartridge 20 of the driving force from the primary node And the device.

Next, with reference to Fig, will describe the phase location of the second contact portions 26b, 26C, 27A and 27b on the support 35.

On Fig shown that the other longitudinal end of the cartridge 20 should be placed in the second movable guide 32 of the cartridge, and then push inward along the movable guide 32 of the cartridge (in the direction indicated by the X arrow) to ensure the sliding of the cartridge 20 inside. When the cartridge 20 is pushed inward, the cartridge 20 moves inward, and the second contact of the cartridge 20, there are parts 27A and 27b of the lower wall of the frame 27 processor means serving the cartridge 20 of the supports on the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, slide on the support 35.

Then the second part 26b, 26C, 27A and 27b through which the cartridge 20 is peretse on the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, rise to the guide rib 39 (supports 35), after which the second part 26b, 26C, 27A and 27b of the cartridge 20 are on guide rib 39 (supports 35).

These second contact portion 27A and 27b through which the cartridge 20 rests on the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, are integral parts of the bottom wall of the frame 27 with the tools that are provided in the frame 26 of the cartridge. The second contact portion 26b and 26C through which the cartridge 20 rests on the movable guide 32 of the cartridge are the bottom surfaces of the two projections, one for each lug, the upper part of the frame 26b of the drum.

Giving the above form first and second contact parts of the cartridge 20 through which the cartridge 20 rests on the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge is not mandatory; you can use any shape to the extent that it provides adequate bearing cartridge 20 on the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge.

[The hard way of positioning the process cartridge in the main printer Assembly]

Figure 1 shows the conditional view in perspective of process cartridge is properly positioned in the movable guides of the cartridge main node device, when the cover 10, which is in the open position (as in figure 4).

Figure 5 presents conventionally, the cross section of the device is imaging with the lid open in this particular embodiment. Figure 6 presents a top view of a process cartridge in this particular embodiment.

The cover 10 is opened or closed when you need to install the process cartridge 20 in the primary node And the device or to extract process cartridge 20.

In this particular embodiment, the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge made independent from each other to reduce cost. However, they can be made as two parts of rolling-element guide cartridge or can be made as two parts of a mobile multiple-element guide cartridge.

In addition, in this particular embodiment, the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge are connected through zvenevogo element, which will be described below, so that they will remain synchronized in movement, even if they are two parts of the rolling-element guide cartridge.

And moving right guide 30 of the cartridge, and moving the left edge guide 32 of the cartridge respectively provided with supports 34 and 35 cartridges for supporting the bottom of the cartridge with the aim of creating a seamless placement of the cartridge in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge.

Figure 6 shows that the frame 26 of the cartridge is provided with positioning the cartridge parts 85 and 86 for the accuracy of the CSOs positioning of the cartridge 20 relative to the primary node And the device. These positioning parts 85 and 86 protrude outwards from the ends of the frame 26 of the cartridge in the longitudinal direction of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface.

In addition, positioning the cartridge parts 85 and 86 accurately positioned longitudinal ends 21A and 21b of the shaft 21d of the drum, passing through the drum 21 from the photosensitive layer with respect to the frame 26 of the cartridge, providing rotation of the shaft 21d of the drum. More specifically, the positioning portion 85 and 86 provided with bearings 85a and 86a, respectively, through which the longitudinal ends 21A and 21b of the shaft 21d drum rely rotatably by the frame 26 of the cartridge positioning portions 85 and 86), and through bearings 85a and 86a are provided the exact location of the positioning portions 85 and 86 relative to the primary node And the device.

Longitudinal end of the shaft 21A 21d drum, which stands out from the right positioning portion 85, provided with a coupling 87, through which the driving force is transmitted to the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer from the drive means on the side of the main device node.

In this particular embodiment, positioning the cartridge parts 85 and 86 are arranged so that their center lines coincide with the axial line of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface. The positioning portion 85 is away on one of the longitudinal ends of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, and the positioning portion 86 is located at the other longitudinal end of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface. Positioning parts 85 and 86 represent the peripheral surfaces of the bearings 85a and 86a, respectively, which serve as a support shaft 21d drum.

Figure 4 and 5 shows that the right side wall 101 of the primary node And the device is equipped with a positioning process cartridge elements 101 (101Y, 101M, S and UK), and the left side wall 101 of the primary node And the device is also equipped with a positioning process cartridge elements 101 (not shown). When positioning the cartridge elements 101 left and right side walls 100 and 110 of the primary node And the devices attached to the left and right lateral walls, adjust the seat so that when the cartridges 20Y, 20M, 20C and 20Bk is installed in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, shafts 21d of the drums of the print cartridges are arranged in parallel and with a high level of precision.

Each positioning, the cartridge part 101, which is put into engagement with the positioning portions 85 or 86, projecting from one or the other of the longitudinal ends of the cartridge 20 attached to the inner surface of the side wall of the primary node And device, speaking inside the primary node And the device.

Positioning the cartridge is element is provided 101 has two catching cartridge surfaces: horizontal catching the cartridge surface 101A and vertical catching the cartridge surface 101b (Fig), through which immediately caught bearings 85a and 86a, respectively, the left and right positioning of the parts 85 and 86 protruding from the longitudinal ends, one after another, the frame 26 of the cartridge. As the frame 26 of each cartridge rests directly side walls 100 and 110 of the primary node And device, as described above, the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer in each cartridge is accurately positioned relative to the primary node And the device.

In other words, it is possible the location of the four drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layers with a high degree of parallelism.

Figures 1 and 6 shows that the frame 26 of the cartridge is provided with a pair of tabs (which act as catchers gear or parts for sliding catches) 81 and 82, which are located at a small distance from the main part (contour 91) of the frame 26 of the cartridge. When the cartridge is moved from the installation position of the cartridge in the position of image formation, a pair of protrusions 81 and 82 are continuously subjected to external force, which acts in the direction of the ink cartridge is installed. The circuit 91 simply denotes the outer surface of the frame 26 of the cartridge and does not necessarily represent a straight line, as shown in Fig.6.

In this particular embodiment, the right protrusion 81 passes from the right is on the edge of a larger protrusion 83 of the frame 26 of the cartridge is approximately parallel to the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface. Reasons proper appearance and give a enhance, larger ledge 83 passes to the center of the frame 26 of the cartridge in the longitudinal direction. However, the size of the right protrusion 83 in the longitudinal direction can reach only up to the dot-dashed line shown in the drawing. Similarly, the left edge of the larger ledge 84 of the frame 26 of the cartridge is approximately parallel to the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface.

The main host And device equipped with a pair of sliding latches 31 and 33, which locking part, which is attached to the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, ensuring a slide movable along the guides 30 and 32 of the cartridge, respectively. A pair of sliding latches 31 and 33 are equipped with proper latches 37 and 38, respectively, which are engaged with the above-described protrusions (catching) 81 and 82, respectively, of the frame 26 of the cartridge.

Actually latches 37 and 38 are engaged with the protrusions (catching) 81 and 82, respectively.

The movement of the sliding latches is accomplished by movement of the lid 10 in the direction indicated by the arrow (figure 1), that is down from the position in which the actual latches 37 and 38 are located higher than the upper surface of the projections (catches) 81 and 82 of the cartridge 20.

When the sliding latches 31 and 33 are moved down, the actual protect the CTL 37 and 38 are engaged with the protrusions (catching) 81 and 82. Conversely, when the cover 10 is opened, the sliding latches 31 and 33 move upward due to the opening movement of the cover 10, causing uncoupling actually latches 37 and 38 from the tabs (catching) 81 and 82; the cartridge 20 unsnaps from the primary node And the device. Because the tabs (catchers) 81 and 82 are located at a small distance from the main part (contour 91) cartridge frame 26, the frame 26 of the cartridge does not interfere with the engagement between the projections (catching) 81 and 82 and sliding latches 31 and 33, respectively.

By the way, the positional relationship in which you are installing the cartridge relative to the supports 34 and 35, is not always exactly the same. So, to ensure that actually latches 37 and 38 will be properly introduced in engagement with the ledges (catching) 81 and 82, respectively, despite the change in the positional relationship between the cartridge 20 and the support 34 and/or between the cartridge 20 and the bearing 35, the actual latches 37 and 38 respectively provided with first portions 37A and 38A, which are located closer to the cartridge 20, than any other part of the actual latches 37 and 38. Actually latches 37 and 38 is also provided with respectively the second portions 37b and 38b and the guide parts s and 38C. The second part 37b and 38b are blocked by the protrusions (catching) 81 and 82 to maintain the cartridge is locked in place when the cartridge is moved from the installation position is artridge in the position of image formation. Guides part s and 38C are part located between the first portions 37A and 38A and second portions 37b and 38b, respectively. They are tilted in such a direction that when the latches 31 and 33 are moved down, the mentioned parts cause movement of the cartridge 20 with the moving rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge in the direction of sliding latches 31 and 33, forming the second portions 37b and 38b able to lock the cartridge 20 when the cartridge is moved from position 200 of the ink cartridge is installed in position 300 the formation of the image.

When the sliding latches 31 and 33 begin to move down due to the motion of the lid 10, the first portion 37A and 38A actually latches 37 and 38 into the gap between the front surface 20A of the cartridge 20 and the protrusions (catching) 81 and 82, respectively, thereby preventing separation of the cartridge 20 from the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge due to the reaction force generated by the driving part, ledges, etc., the primary node And device, for the rest of the installation operation of the cartridge.

The first part 37A and 38A actually latches 37 and 38 are located closer to the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge than the second portion 37b and 38b actually latches 37 and 38, so that even if the cartridge 20 is installed in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge with a small offset anormales provisions the first part 37A and 38A, that is, the end part of the actual latches 37 and 38 have the opportunity of gradual entry into the gap between the front surface 20A of the cartridge 20 and the protrusion (safety device) 81 and into the gap between the rear surface 20A of the cartridge 20 and the protrusion (safety device) 82 without facing protrusions (catching) 81 and 82, respectively, when the first portion 37A and 38A are moving down.

When the sliding latches 31 and 33 are lowered further after the introduction of the first parts 37A and 38A in the gap between the front surface 20A of the cartridge 20 and the protrusion (safety device) 81 and into the gap between the rear surface 20A of the cartridge 20 and the protrusion (safety device) 82, respectively, the guide part C and 38 come into contact with the protrusions (catching) 81 and 82, respectively. Thus, when the sliding latches 31 and 33 are moved further down, creates a force which acts in the direction of clamping of the cartridge 20 to the supports 34 and 35, and the force that acts in the direction of retraction of the cartridge 20 to the inner end portions 30A and 32A of the right and left guide rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, there are forces that act in the direction of retracting the cartridge inside the primary node And the device.

By the way, the guide parts s and 38C is desirable to give such a form that they can ensure smooth sliding thereon protrusions (catching) 81 and 82 from parts 37A and 38A to parts 37b and 38b according to the government. In this particular embodiment, the guide portion 37A and 38A is inclined in such a way that the closer some fixed point guide part C or 38C to the second part 37b or 38b, respectively, the smaller the distance between a given point and the protrusion (safety device) 81 or 82.

Next will be described in detail, as is the cartridge 20 during installation. Figure 7 presents a side view of the movable part right guide, cartridge, in this particular embodiment, which holds the cartridge (s) in accordance with this particular embodiment. On Fig presents a side view of the movable part of the left guide, cartridge, in this particular embodiment, which holds the cartridge (s) in accordance with this particular embodiment.

7 and 8 shows the side parts of the movable guides of the cartridge that holds the ink cartridges 20 (20Y and 20M). The shaded sections 7 and 8 are conventionally portrayed supports 34 and 35, as well as the latches 37 and 38 which are brought into engagement with the cartridge 20.

By the way, the support 35, the latch 38 is located on the side opposite the side that is shown in the drawings. Therefore they are not shown in Fig.7.

7 shows that essentially the entire longitudinal end of the cartridge is closed RA is Oh 26 of the cartridge.

7 and 8 shows that the bearing 34 is approximately straight and approximately parallel to the bottom wall of the cartridge frame 26, while between the support 34 and the bottom wall of the frame 26 of the cartridge there is a gap of a specified value. Therefore, when the operator sets the cartridge 20 in the movable guide 30 of the cartridge, the cartridge slides on the support 34 to the inner end of the movable rail 30 of the cartridge and stops when in contact with the rear (towards the inside) wall 30A of the movable rail 30 of the cartridge.

Turned down the part of the support 34 (34Y and 34M) in the mounting direction of the cartridge has a step with a height difference of about 1 mm In the presence of this step on the support 34, the cartridge 20 can come into contact with the rail 30 by only a limited area (contact area) of its surface when it is in the movable rail 30 of the cartridge. This limited area (contact area) of the surface of the cartridge 20 functions as a control of rotation to prevent rotation of the cartridge 20 after proper positioning of the cartridge 20 relative to the primary node And the device.

More specifically, when the cartridge 20 perceives the driving force from the primary node And device, this driving force acts in the direction of rotation of the cartridge 20 around the axial lines of the frequent positioning the th 85 and 86, forcing the frame 26 of the cartridge to make contact with region 32b regulation of rotation (contact part). As a result, further rotation of the cartridge 20 is prevented, and the cartridge is locked in place relative to the movable rail 30 of the cartridge.

On the right side of the device imaging the primary node And the device and the cartridge 20 are connected to each other so that the driving force can be transmitted from the primary node And the device to the cartridge 20. More specifically, the driving force is transmitted from the primary node And the device to the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface of the cartridge 20 through the sleeve 87, which is attached to the shaft 21d drum and the axial line of which coincides with the axial line of the shaft 21d of the drum. To the roller 23 with the developer driving force is transmitted through the input gear 92 (shown in phantom line in the drawing), the axial line of which coincides with the axial line of the center of rotation of the frame 27 of the processor means. Gear 92 is driven in the clockwise direction indicated by the arrow (7). Therefore, when transmitting the driving force of the cartridge 20 is rotated in the direction of providing the bearing cartridge 20 by means of the right positioning of the cartridge portion 84 and the aforementioned surface 30b regulation the project for rotation of the cartridge (contact part) as a control part. As a result, the cartridge 20 is stably supported in the right place, and the driving force is transmitted from the primary node And the device; in other words, the cartridge 20 is supported precisely located relative to the primary node And the device during the operation of forming the image.

The movable guide 30 of the cartridge is provided with a sliding latch 31, which is attached slidable to the movable rail 30 of the cartridge.

On Fig presents the conditional side view of the combination of the movable left guide 32 of the cartridge and cartridge 20Y in the mobile left guide 32 of the cartridge. This mobile left edge guide 32 of the cartridge and the left end portion of the process cartridge 20 will be described only in connection with those parts that differ from those already described in relation to the right guide, cartridge 30 and right end parts of the process cartridge 20.

The left end part of the cartridge 20 is different from its right end part to the fact that it contains the upper half 26a, which is a frame 26a of the drum, and the lower half, which is a frame 27 processor means, connected to rotate with the frame 26a of the drum. Therefore, when the cartridge 20 is inserted into the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, the bottom wall of the frame 27 processor means slides on bearings is 35 rolling left guide 32 of the cartridge.

When the cartridge 20 slides on the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, delving into the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, a rib, which is provided with the upper part of the front end of the frame 26 of the cartridge and which is held in the mounting direction of the cartridge, glides, by accessing a guiding rib 39 (39Y, M) of the movable guide 32 of the cartridge. Then, when the cartridge 20 is slipping deeper into the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, the cartridge 20 is fixed in place with a positioning portions 85 and 86, the axial line of which coincides with the axial line of the shaft 21d of the drum, and the region 20b regulation of rotation, which is in contact with the region (30b) regulation of rotation of the cartridge located on a support 34 (34Y and 34TH), shown in the drawing, rolling right guide, cartridge. Thus, after proper positioning of the cartridge 20 in the primary node And device, there will be no contact between the support 35 of the movable guide 32 of the cartridge shown in the drawing, rolling the left support of the cartridge, and the cartridge 20.

Region 20b regulation of rotation of the cartridge, the cartridge 20 is the part of the outer surface of the cartridge 20, which is facing downwards (in the direction of the ink cartridge is installed) side of the cartridge 20 and is located on the right longitudinal end of which is provided with a coupling 87 and from which the cartridge vos is animal the driving force from the main host And device) of the cartridge 20. In addition, the region 20b regulation of rotation of the cartridge is part of the outer surface of the lower wall of the cartridge frame 26.

In figures 1, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 12 in the direction indicated by the X arrow is the direction in which you install the cartridge, and the direction, opposite to him, is the direction in which the cartridge is extracted from the primary node And the device.

The movable guide 32 of the cartridge is provided with a sliding latch 33, which is attached slidable to the movable guide 32 of the cartridge as well as moving the latch 31 is attached to the movable rail 30 of the cartridge.

[Sliding latch]

The following describes the moving guides 30 and 32 of the cartridge, the connection of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge with Zinovy mechanism and the movement of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge.

In figure 4, which shows the conditional cross-section of the device forming the image, the cover of which is opened, in this particular embodiment, shown zvenevoi mechanism that connects the right movable guide 30 of the cartridge cover 10.

Position 15 marked the connecting rod, which plays a role zvenevogo element and connected with the movable right guide, cartridge 30. Approximately, the connecting rod 15 has the shape of a letter L. It is attached to the moving of the rights of the second rail 30 of the cartridge to its longest part, while the short part, i.e. approximately perpendicular to the long part is the inward rolling right guide, cartridge 30. The end of the short part of the coupling rod 15 is connected with a rotary thrust 14 to delay the movement of the coupling rod 15 (rolling right guide, cartridge 30) for a specified period of time relative to the beginning of the movement of the cover 10. Rotary thrust 14 is connected to one end of the intermediate connecting rod 13 and the other end of the intermediate connecting rod 13 is connected to the door lever 12, is made as a single piece with the cover 10.

The time lag between the beginning of the opening of the cover 10 and the beginning of the movement of the coupling rod 15 (rolling right guide, cartridge 30 is used to release couplings that transmit force, providing circumferential drive the intermediate transferring belt 40, the leading roller 41 and the release couplings that transmit the driving force of four drums 21 from the photosensitive surface layers.

Next, with reference to figures 9, 10 and 11 will be described the mechanism for effecting the movement of the movable rail 30 of the cartridge and the force that acts on the cartridge when the movable guide 30 of the cartridge moves. Figure 9 presents the conditional cross-section of the device forming the image in e is om specific embodiment, where shown, as a process cartridge 20 installed in the main node And device imaging. Figure 10 presents the conditional cross-section of a substantial part of the device forming the image in this particular embodiment, which shows how rotates the movable guide of the cartridge. Figure 11 presents the conditional cross-section of the device forming the image in this particular embodiment, the present invention after an unattended installation of the cartridge into the main Assembly a of the device forming the image.

Figure 9, 10 and 11 shows the vertical cross section of the primary node And the device and the left end of the cartridge 20. On these drawings is shown the movable guide of the cartridge on the left side of the main node And device, that is, the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, and part of the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, which act on the cartridge 20. In addition, these drawings show only those parts of the side wall 110 of the primary node And devices that operate on the cartridge 20, and the elements that are attached to the side wall 110 and act on the cartridge 20. When the forming device of the image is in the state shown in Fig.9, the movable guide cartridge primary node And the device is tilted an angle of about 35°and bearing 35 NAC is onena an angle of about 10° relatively movable guide 32 of the cartridge, as described above. Thus, when the forming device of the image ready to be inserted cartridge, the angle of the supports 35 relative to the horizontal plane is about 45°.

When the process cartridge, such as cartridge 20M for Magenta developer, shown in the drawing, is inserted in the direction indicated by the arrow, the cartridge 20 when it is placed on the supports 35 and 34 of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge through parts of the lower surface of the frame 26 of the cartridge. Then the cartridge 20, in essence, automatically slide on the supports 35 and 34, moving deeper into the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge. As for the sliding latch 33, attached slidable to the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, then it is pinned to the top of the primary node And the device due to the elastic force of a spring (not shown). Therefore, the sliding latch 33 remains in contact with the top wall 105 of the primary node And the device.

Provided that the sliding latch 33 is in contact with the top wall 105, the actual latch 38 of the sliding latch 33 is supported in a position that provides a sufficient height so as not to interfere with the cartridge 20 when the cartridge 20 is slipping deeper movable in the direction of the tion 32 of the cartridge primary node And device.

Next, figure 10 shows that, when the cover 10 is closed, the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, which was maintained at an angle of about 35° relative to the vertical plane up to this point in the implementation process, is rotated by movement of the lid 10 as long as the angle of its position relative to the vertical plane will be approximately 5° during the forced movement of the sliding latch 33 down along the movable guide 32 of the cartridge. During this rotation, the movable guide 32 of the cartridge and the resulting movement of the sliding latch 33 down the actual latch 38 of the sliding latch 33 is inserted into engagement with the left ledge (safety device) 82 of the cartridge 20.

Actually, the latch 38 is long enough for proper engagement with the left ledge (safety device) 82 of the cartridge 20, while the sliding latch 33 moves from the upper end of its range of movement to the lower end. When the movable guide 32 of the cartridge primary node And the device is rotated inside the cartridge 20 moves together with the movable guide 32 of the cartridge. Then, when the cartridge 20 is suitable for positioning the cartridge element 101 on the side wall of the primary node And the device are three forces that act in the direction resisting movement the structure of the cartridge 20 inside.

The first of these three forces, which act in the direction resisting movement of the cartridge 20 inside, is the force of reaction that occurs when the cartridge 20 is pressed directly to positioning the cartridge element 101. This force acts on the locking cartridge element 103. The second force is the reaction force that occurs when the rod 90 of the shutter drum is rotated by movement of the cartridge 20 inside after coming in contact with the driving of the shutter element 102 located on the side wall of the primary node And the device for opening the shutter 89 of the drum. The third force is the reaction force that occurs when the process cartridge 20 slides on tilted up to the surface catching the cartridge element on the side wall of the primary node And the device.

Below is a detailed description of these three forces of reaction. On Fig presents the conventional view of the locking cartridge element 103 to maintain the cartridge 20 is pressed on the positioning of the cartridge element 101 of the primary node And device, and in this form consistently shown the movement of the mixing cartridge element 103.

On Fig (a) shows that the locking cartridge element 103 (103Y, M, S and 103Bk) attached can be rotated to the side wall 110 (Fig.9) primary node And device. It is supported under the influence of rustagi is a growing force, created by the spring 108 stretching, shown on the drawing. When the axis 107 of the rotation of the locking cartridge element 103 is as shown in the drawing, the spring 108, the tension begins to stretch immediately after locking the cartridge element 103 starts to rotate. During subsequent rotation of the locking cartridge element 103 spring 108 stretching continuously stretched up until the locking cartridge element 103 will not make the turn to the point of return. Then, when the locking cartridge element 103 has passed the point of no-return, the spring 108 tension will have the opportunity compression, which will cause the delivery pressure of the locking cartridge element 103 on the cartridge 20 so that the left positioning element 86 of the cartridge 20 will come into contact with the positioning of the cartridge element 101 of the primary node And the device will be maintained in contact with him. The force created by the spring 108 is in the range of from about 500 g of force (4,9 M) up to 1 kg force (9.8 N).

Fixing the cartridge element 103 is rotated by the cartridge 20. More specifically, when moving the left edge guide 32 of the cartridge is rotated, the left positioning the cartridge element 86 is suitable for fixing the cartridge element 103, eventually coming into contact with the locking cartridge element 103. As soon as the left positioning the element is provided 86 comes into contact with the locking cartridge element 103 (Fig(b)), spring 108 tension begins to stretch, creating a reaction force, which acts in the direction of the repulsion of the cartridge 20 ago. As a result, the operator begins to feel the resistance.

When the cartridge 20 is inserted deeper, counteracting the above-described reaction force generated by the spring 108 stretching, and stretching the spring 108 stretching, fixing the cartridge element 103 is rotated, passing through the point of return, but the force of elasticity of the spring 108 begins to act in the direction in which the left positioning the cartridge element 86 exerts pressure directly on positioning the cartridge element 101 of the primary node And device, as shown in Fig(d).

After that, positioning the cartridge portion 86 of the cartridge 20 comes into contact with both horizontal and vertical surfaces 101A and 101b positioning the cartridge element 101 of the primary node And device, resulting in accurate positioning of the cartridge 20 relative to the primary node And the device.

More specifically, the bearing 86a, which is part of positioning the cartridge element 86, is entered in contact with horizontal and vertical surfaces 101A and 101b. By the way the bearing 86a serves to support the shaft 21d drum, included drum 21 from the photosensitive surface.

The following describes satwa the 89 drum.

The drum 21 from the photosensitive surface of the photosensitive layer has a surface layer that reacts to light, thereby contributing to the image formation. In other words, the drum 21 with the light-sensitive layer sensitive to light. Therefore, the cartridge 20 is equipped with a shutter 89 of the drum (7) to prevent the exposure light peripheral surface of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, when the cartridge 20 is located outside the main host And the device, for example during transport of the cartridge 20.

In this particular embodiment, as a material for the gate 89 of the drum uses a thin, flexible sheet made with the possibility of blocking the light. The shutter 89 drum one end affixed to the frame 26 of the cartridge, and the opposite edge attached to the pull of the shutter drum around which can be wrapped around the bolt 39 of the drum. Pull the shutter is equipped with a spring 93, which is attached to the right shoulder thrust shutter and still is wound to generate force in the direction which causes the rotation of the thrust of the shutter in the closing direction of the shutter 89 of the drum.

Figure 9 shows that, when the operator inserts the cartridge 20 in the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, the shutter 89 dryer remains closed. Then, when the cartridge 20 come close to pozicionirujut the cartridge element 101 of the primary node And device, as shown in figure 10, by rotating the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, pull 90 shutter drum comes into contact with the driving of the shutter element 102 on the left side wall 110 of the primary node And device, thus starting to turn under the influence of the subsequent motion of the cartridge 20 inside caused by the subsequent rotation of the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, and unbends the flexible shutter 89 of the drum, as shown in figure 10.

Figure 11 shows that when the cartridge 20 is stationary pre-installed in a certain position, the shutter 89 of the drum is fully deflected, i.e. fully retracted upward thrust of 90 shutter drum. During this process, the flexible handle 88 cartridge is bent up under the influence of thrust 90 shutter drum, thereby creating a reaction force, which acts in the direction causing repulsion thrust back 90 of the shutter drum. Thus, this reaction force from the flexible handle 88 of the cartridge pushes the driving cartridge element 102 through the thrust 90 shutter drum, thereby creating a reaction force, which acts in the direction causing the push pull 90 shutter drum in the direction opposite to the direction of insertion of the cartridge. Therefore, the cartridge 20 accept such force that acts in the direction of the magic cube MOV is I of the cartridge 20 from the movable guide 32 of the cartridge. The magnitude of this force, which acts in the direction causing ejection of the cartridge 20 from the movable guide 32 of the cartridge, equal to the sum of the elastic force of the spring 93 of the bolt, the elastic force of the flexible handle 88 of the cartridge and the elastic force of the shutter 89 of the drum and is in the range of from about 1 N (100 g force) to 3 N (300 grams force).

The following describes the reaction force that occurs when the cartridge 20 is forced to slide on the inclined upward surface catching the cartridge element (positioning the cartridge element) on the side wall of the main device node.

This reaction force occurs just before the cartridge 20, temporarily located on the support 35 of the movable guide 32 of the cartridge begins to move to the normal position, that is, the set position of image formation in the main node And the device. The magnitude of this reaction force is determined by the mass of the cartridge 20 and the distance at which vertically moves the cartridge 20, when coming upon a horizontal surface 101A catching cartridge part (positioning the cartridge). When the cartridge 20, which weight is about 1 kg, pushing along the inclined upwards at an angle of 45° surface catching the cartridge element (positioning the cartridge element), its own mass generates a force that acts in the and the cartridge 20 in the direction causing ejection of the cartridge 20 from the movable guide 32 of the cartridge.

As described above, when the process cartridge is installed in the primary node And device of forming an image using the automatic installation system, the above-mentioned various reaction forces act on the cartridge 20 when the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge make a turning movement.

In this particular embodiment, the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge respectively provided with sliding latches 31 and 33, which are made slidable movable along the guides 30 and 32 of the cartridge, respectively. Slip these sliding latches 31 and 33 is caused by the motion of opening or closing of the cover 10. More specifically, when the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge begin to move due to the opening movement of the cover 10, the first is actually the latches 37 and 38 of the sliding latches 31 and 33 are engaged with the protrusions (catching) 81 and 82 of the cartridge 20. Then the reaction force generated by the locking cartridge element 103, begins to act on the process cartridge 20, and then the process cartridge 20 applies the reaction force that occurs when you open the shutter 89 of the drum. And, finally, the cartridge 20 is valid reaction force that occurs when the cartridge 20 is pushed along Naklo the military up surface positioning the cartridge element.

However, the cartridge 20 is sent to the surfaces 101A and 101b positioning the cartridge element 101 to the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, as described above, the reaction forces thus amortized actually latches 37 and 38. Thus, when the cartridge 20 comes into contact with catching the cartridge surfaces 101A and 101b, the actual latches 37 and 38 away from the tabs (catching) 81 and 82.

The above-mentioned fixing the cartridge element 103 continuously creates a reaction force up until not fluent in the position shown in Fig(C). However, as soon as the locking cartridge element (103) is rotated, passing the position shown in Fig(C), it begins to exert pressure on the positioning portion 86 of the cartridge 20, the inward rolling of the guide of the cartridge. As a result, the positioning portion 86 slides on a horizontal surface 101A of the positioning element 101 by means of the fixing cartridge element 103 to until not in contact with the vertical surface 101b locking the cartridge element 103. When the cartridge 101A is sliding on a horizontal surface 101A, the actual latches 37 and 38 away from the tabs (catching) 81 and 82, respectively.

After that, the cover 10 is to be closed, and when closing the cover 10 is automatically performed precise movement of the cartridge 20 in agenie 300 imaging for cartridge 20 in the primary node And the device.

As described above, when the cartridge 20 is moved to position 300 of image formation in the main node And device, it fixed itself latches 37 and 38. Therefore, it is assumed that the cartridge 20 is moved to position 300 of image formation, despite the presence of the above-described reaction forces that act on the cartridge 20.

In this case, the term "position 300 of the image forming means end position, in which move the cartridge 20 to form the image in the main node And the device. The position of the cartridge 20 during the transmission of the driving force to the cartridge 20 from the primary node And the device is slightly different from the position of the cartridge at the time when the driving force is not transmitted to the cartridge 20. However, in this description both of these provisions cartridge considered as the position of forming the image.

(Specific option 2 implementation)

Below, with reference to figure 4, 13-18, describes the process cartridge and image forming in the second specific embodiment of the present invention. Description of the constructions process cartridge and device imaging, similar to those in the first specific option exercise, will be omitted, as will be described in detail only those design and, dierentiating the second particular implementation.

On Fig presents a cross-section of the locking cartridge element and its surroundings in this particular embodiment, illustrating its positioning. On Fig, 17 and 18 presents the conditional section fixing the cartridge element in this particular embodiment.

On Fig shown that the forces of reaction acting on the cartridge 20, created the first retainer cartridge element 94 (a, 94b, C and 94d) on the side walls 100 and 110 of the primary node And device and the second locking the cartridge element 95 (95A, 95b, C and 95d) on the intermediate transferring element 40, made as a single piece with the cover 10. On Fig shown that the cartridge 20 is pressed the first retainer cartridge element 94 in the first direction (diagonally downwards at an angle of about 45° relative to the horizontal plane), and pressed the second locking the cartridge element 95 in the second direction (diagonally downwards at an angle of about 15° relative to the horizontal plane). In addition, the cartridge 20 is pressed by elastic force of springs (not shown) in a direction that causes the clamp positioning elements 85 and 86 of the cartridge 20, which are also the pillars, to the two surfaces, that is to the rear, and bottom surfaces s and 101d each p is sicinius cartridge elements 101 on the side walls 100 and 110 of the primary node And the device. As a result, the cartridge 20 is accurately positioned relative to the primary node And the device.

In this particular embodiment, the function of the positioning of the cartridge 20 relative to the primary node And the device is the primary node And the device independently movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge.

On Fig presents conditionally perspective view of the cartridge 20 in this particular embodiment. As shown in Fig, of the cartridge 20, through which the pressure applied to the cartridge 20, represent the first contact part 96 (96A and 96b) and the second contact portion 97 (97A and 97b), located at the lengthwise ends, one for each frame 26 of the cartridge. These contact parts are pressed above-mentioned first and second locking the cartridge elements 94 and 95, respectively. In addition, the contact portion does not necessarily have to be a part of the frame cleansers, which belongs to the frame 26 of the cartridge. For example, they can be elements attached to the frame cleansers, or positioning parts 85 and 86, which are also the pillars, which is provided with a frame 27 developer tools.

Just before the cover 10 is fully closed, the cartridge 20 takes the pressure of the second locking the cartridge element 95, temporarily attached to the WMD-carrying element 40 and is made in one piece with the cover 10, in the direction causing the clamping of the cartridge 20 for positioning the cartridge element. More specifically, when the positioning portion 85 and 86 move to the first retainer cartridge element 94, the cartridge 20 perceives a reaction force which acts in the direction opposite to the direction of insertion of the cartridge. However, in this particular embodiment, both the locking cartridge element used for phase-clamp cartridge. Therefore, when installing the cartridge 20 of the reaction force generated by the locking cartridge elements in the direction causing ejection of the cartridge 20 from the primary node And the devices are relatively small, providing a smooth installation of the cartridge 20 in the primary node And the device.

[The forces that act on the process cartridge after installation of the process cartridge in the device forming image]

When the cover 10 is closed, as shown in Fig.6, after full insertion of the cartridge 20 in the movable guides of the cartridge frame 26 of the cartridge is exposed to the force Fa generated by the first retainer cartridge element 94 in a direction diagonally downward, and more specifically at an angle of about 45° relative to the horizontal plane, and the force Fb generated by the second locking the cartridge element 95 in the direction of the management diagonally down and more specifically at an angle of about 15° relative to the horizontal plane. In addition, the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface is exposed through the intermediate transferring element 40 impact force Fc (not shown)generated by the main roller 42 to transfer the image in the direction that contributes to the maintenance cartridge 20 is properly positioned relative to the primary node And device, i.e. in a direction essentially parallel to the bottom wall of the primary node And the device. In other words, the cartridge 20 is supported accurately positioned relative to the positioning of the cartridge element 101 of the primary node And the device due to the fact that he is exposed to forces Fa, Fb and Fc.

On the other hand, when transmitting the driving force to the cartridge 20 during the image-forming cartridge 20 is subjected to a force Fd (force)that is generated by transmission of the driving force in a direction opposite the mounting direction of the cartridge. The direction in which to create the force Fd is determined by the position of the output gear (not shown) of the source of mechanical energy of the primary node And device, the position of the input gear (not shown) of the cartridge 20 and the corners of application working pressure both wheels.

In Dan is the first event of force, which act horizontally, indicated by the reference characters Fa1, Fb1, Fc1 and Fd1, and the forces which act vertically, indicated by the reference characters Fa2, Fb2, Fc2 and Fd2. All that is required to guarantee the maintenance cartridge is properly positioned, it is satisfying the following inequality: Fa1+Fb1+Fc1>Fd1 (in a direction essentially parallel to the bottom wall of the primary node And device). In the vertical direction (direction essentially perpendicular to the bottom wall of the main host And device), a similar condition is not valid, because the forces Fa2, Fb2, Fc2 and Fd2 are in the same direction, i.e. vertically downwards, and so always satisfied the inequality Fa2+Fb2+Fc2+Fd2>0.

The foregoing description of this particular variant of the implementation can be summarized as follows.

Process cartridge 20, which is installed in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge primary node And electrophotographic device imaging (printer), and then move through the movement of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge from a position 200 of the ink cartridge is installed in position 300 of image formation, contains:

electrophotographic drum 21 from the photosensitive surface;

processing means (for example, a charging roller 22, the shaft is 23 with the developer and cleaning the knife 24), which act on the electrophotographic drum 21 from the photosensitive surface;

the frame 26 of the cartridge, upon which the electrophotographic drum 21 from the photosensitive surface and machining tools;

the first contact area 26a and 30b through which the cartridge 20 rests on the movable guide 30 of the cartridge and are located on one of the longitudinal ends of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface;

the second contact region 26b, 26C, 27A and 27b through which the cartridge 20 rests on the movable guide 32 of the cartridge and which are located at the other longitudinal end of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface;

the first positioning the cartridge portion 85 which projects from one of the longitudinal ends of the cartridge 20 in the direction parallel to the axial line of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface and is intended for introduction into contact with the primary node And the devices in the device forming the image for the desired positioning of the cartridge 20 relative to the primary node And device, and the axial line of this part coincides with the axial line of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface;

the second positioning cartridge part 86, which acts on each is the first longitudinal end of the cartridge 20 in the direction parallel to the axial line of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface and is intended for introduction into contact with the primary node And the devices in the device forming the image for the desired positioning of the cartridge 20 relative to the primary node And device, and the axial line of this part coincides with the axial line of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface; and

the tabs 81 and 82 (acting as catching), which engages with snaps (sliding latches 31 and 33), roaming through movement of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, and it absorbs a reaction force that occurs when the cartridge 20 moves from position 200 of the ink cartridge is installed in position 300 the formation of the image.

Assuming the above described structural arrangement, it turns out that when the movement of the cartridge from a position 200 of the ink cartridge is installed in position 300 of image formation it is supported under the influence of the reaction forces created by this structural arrangement, resulting in essentially prevented his leaving the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge. Therefore, it is assumed that the cartridge 20 is easily installed in position 300 the formation of the image.

It should be noted that the position 200 of the cartridge is what orogenies, in which the cartridge 20 is installed in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge. Position 200 of the cartridge is on the side of the cover 10, which are movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge that simplifies the operator inserting the cartridge 20 in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge or removing the cartridge 20 of them.

Tabs (catchers) 81 and 82 of the cartridge 20 are located on the front when viewed in the mounting direction of the cartridge (the X direction) of the end frame 26 of the cartridge.

In accordance with this structural arrangement, the protrusions (catchers) 81 and 82 are at a given distance from the front end of the frame 26 of the cartridge in the mounting direction of the cartridge, on the assumption that the cartridge 20 will be temporarily docked to the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge by means of latches (sliding latches 31 and 33)located on the side of the main unit of the image formation. Therefore, it is assumed that the cartridge 20 will move to position 300, in which the cartridge 20 is used to form the image.

Also in accordance with this structural arrangement, the protrusions (catchers) 81 and 82 are located not only at the specified distance from the front end of the frame 26 of the cartridge in the mounting direction of the cartridge, but are located at a given distance, one left and the other right, center is arabena 21 from the photosensitive surface in the longitudinal direction of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface.

In other words, in the longitudinal direction of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer of the tab (device) 81 is located at a specified distance to the left from the center of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer (the center of the leading edge of the frame 26 of the cartridge)and the protrusion (safety device) 82 is located at a specified distance to the right from the center of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer (the center of the leading edge of the frame 26 of the cartridge).

Assuming this constructive arrangement in which the protrusions (catchers) 81 and 82 are located not only at the specified distance from the front end of the frame 26 of the cartridge in the mounting direction of the cartridge (the X direction), but at a given distance to the left and right of the center of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface in the longitudinal direction of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface layer, it is possible to temporarily attach the cartridge 20 two places to the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge snaps (sliding latches 31 and 33)located on the side of the primary node. Therefore, the cartridge 20 to be installed in the primary node And the device in the transverse direction of the cartridge 20 can be easily and securely installed in the primary node And the device.

In this case, the term "transverse direction" means a direction passing transversely of the longitudinal n the governance of the drum from the photosensitive surface.

In addition, the catching portion 81 and 82 contain the first protruding portion 83 and 84 and the second protruding parts 81 and 82, respectively. The first protruding portion 83 and 84 protrude from the frame 26 of the cartridge in the mounting direction of the cartridge (the X direction), i.e. in the direction approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface. The second protruding parts 81 and 82 are of the first protrusions 83 and 84, respectively, in a direction approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the drum 21 from the photosensitive surface.

In accordance with this structural arrangement, the recess (cavity) catching parts 81 and 82, which come in sliding latches 31 and 33 made in the form of the key way, passing in the longitudinal direction that strengthens catching parts 81 and 82. It is assumed that the cartridge 20 will be automatically installed properly in the primary node And the device forming the image.

Further, the first positioning the cartridge portion 85 and/or the second positioning cartridge part 86 are subjected to pressure and maintained under this pressure, directed to positioning the cartridge elements 101 primary node And device imaging, by first fixing the cartridge element 94 primary node And device for pressing sicinius part 85 and/or the second positioning cartridge part 86 in the first direction, and by the second retainer cartridge element 95 of the primary node And device for pressing the positioning portion 85 and/or the second positioning cartridge part 86 in the second direction, respectively.

Provided constructive layout positioning the cartridge parts are experiencing pressure from two different directions. Therefore, not only is more reliable and accurate positioning of the cartridge, but is a lesser amount of pressure that is perceived by a cartridge from each element. Therefore, the strength of reactions (for example, the reaction force resulting from friction)that the cartridge sees when he moves from the mounted position to the position of image formation, are less than the largest. Therefore, it is also assumed that the cartridge will automatically be installed properly in the primary node And the device forming the image.

In addition, the first positioning the cartridge portion 85 and/or the second positioning cartridge part 86 are subjected to pressure and maintained under this pressure, directed to positioning the cartridge elements 101 of the device forming an image by first fixing the cartridge element 94 attached to the frame (the side walls 100 and 110) of the primary node And device imaging for pressing the first and positioning the cartridge portion 85 and/or the second positioning cartridge part 86 in the first direction, and by the second retainer cartridge element 95, attached to the transfer unit (the intermediate transferring element 40) on the side of the primary node And device imaging for pressing the first positioning the cartridge portion 85 and/or the second positioning cartridge part 86 in the second direction that is different from the first direction.

Further note that the latches (sliding latches 31 and 33) is attached to the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge so that they are engaged with the catching - one latch with one safety device by movement of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge.

Assuming this structural arrangement, when the cover 10 is opened, the latch (sliding latches 31 and 33) slide up due to the opening movement of the cover 10. Therefore, when the cartridge 10 is installed in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge latch (sliding latches 31 and 33) do not interfere with catching parts 81 and 82 of the cartridge 20 that allows you to insert the cartridge 20 deeper into the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge in the mounting direction of the cartridge (the X direction), further ensuring a successful silent installation of the cartridge 20.

Further, the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge attached to the main node And the device forming the image in such a way that their mo is but rotate relative to the primary node And the movement of the opening or closing of the cover 10 of the primary node And the device.

Assuming this structural layout, during an unattended installation of the process cartridge 20 in the primary node And the device when the cover 10 is closed, the cartridge 20 is moving in the primary node And the device continuously subjected to traction interventions aiming to positioning the cartridge parts 101, 101A and 101b, and it is assumed that the automatic installation of the cartridge 20 in the primary site And the devices in the device forming the image, the print cartridge is properly positioned relative to this base node And device.

In addition, each of the latches (sliding latches 31 and 33) has three parts, that is, the front end part, the middle part (the guide part C and 38A) and a rear part, when viewed in the direction of the place, the distance between the front part and the special part 81 (82) differs from the distance between the rear part and special part 81 (82). Thus, at the beginning of the engagement of the latch with the catching part 81 (82) of the cartridge 20 each catching portion 81 (82) is not drawn to the latch 31 (33). Then, when the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge turn on inside the primary node And the device catching part 81 (82) is gradually drawn to the latch 31 (33).

Assuming this structural arrangement, in which each of the latches (moving is useloc 31 and 33) has three parts, that is, the front end part, the middle part (the guide part C and 38A) and a rear part, when viewed in the direction of the place, and the distance between the front part and the special part 81 (82) differs from the distance between the rear part and special part 81 (82), the cartridge 20 is not pulled through the latch 31 (33) at the beginning of the engagement of the latch 31 (33) with the only special part 81 (82). Then, when the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge turn on inside the primary node And device, the cartridge 20 is gradually drawn toward the latch 81 (82). In other words, when the cartridge 20 in the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, the cartridge 20 does not reach the inner ends of the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge, remaining as a consequence spaced slightly outward from the end position, i.e. the position of image formation. However, when you start to close the cover 10, the movable rails 30 and 32 of the cartridge begins to turn inside the primary node And the device by movement of the lid 10, whereupon the latch (sliding latches 31 and 33) begin to slide and engages with the catching 81 and 82. After that, when the cover 10 is closed further, the set of latches 31 and 33 and catching parts 81 and 82 generates a force in the direction of retracting the cartridge 20 inside moving napravlyayus the 30 and 32 of the cartridge. Therefore, it is also assumed that the cartridge 20 is automatically set.

As described above, in accordance with the present invention it is possible to improve the operational characteristics of the cartridge associated with the installation of this process cartridge into the main site electrophotographic device to form the image.
