SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ball-type coupling gears and it can be used for towing light-weight single-axle trailers. Proposed trailer-train coupling gear contains ball support with retainer pressed to support and arranged in housing. said coupling gear is provided with locking mechanism which cuts in piston and locks found in vertically arranged axial space of ball support. Locks are fitted in holes whose axes are arranged in one plane and plane of their arrangement coincides with diameter plane of ball support. Upper part of piston is made in form of conical surface. Locks are spring-loaded relative to ball support and are made for engagement by some ends with relatively perpendicular slots found on inner surface of lock housing and on surface of retainer. Device is furnished with hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic cylinder rod drive lever, piston-pusher with smaller diameter section in upper part to act onto said piston. Underpiston space of piston-pusher is connected with main line of prime-mover brake system. Device is provided with bracket of ball support to move support in direction of longitudinal axis of prime-mover with action of lower part of ball support onto hydraulic cylinder rod drive lever, with possibility of displacement of hydraulic cylinder rod and action of liquid pressure built, in said hydraulic onto piston to move the piston.

EFFECT: improved stability of trailer-train at application of brakes and prevention of jack-knifing of trailer in case of delayed operation or failure of main line connecting brake system of prime-mover and locking mechanism.

The invention relates to road transport, in particular to devices coupling devices of the ball type, and can be used to enhance the stability of the trailer when braking and hitting the trailer to the tractor.

Closest to the claimed invention is a trailer hitch trailer [USSR Author's certificate No. 1659235 A1, IPC 60 D 1/06, 1989], which are accommodated in the housing of a ball bearing with preloaded to her biscuit, equipped with a locking mechanism, which includes placed vertically located in the axial cavity of ball bearings piston and the tabs in the holes, the axes of which are placed in the same plane, and the plane of their location coincides with the diametrical plane of the ball bearing and the piston in the upper part is made in the form of a conical surface, while the latches are biased relative to the ball joint and made interoperable one of their ends with mutually perpendicular slots located on the inner surface of the lock case and on the surface of the biscuit.

The disadvantages of this device is the low reliability of the actuation of the locking mechanism in case of delay the operation or malfunction of the highway connecting the latter with the brake system of the tractor, and as a consequence, unstable movement ABT the train during braking, causing wobbling and folding trailer link.

The technical result is to increase the reliability of operation of the locking mechanism in case of delay the operation or malfunction of the highway connecting the latter with the brake system of the tractor, and the stability of movement of the trailer during braking and hitting the trailer to the tractor and prevent folding trailer link.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the trailer hitch trailer containing accommodated in the housing of a ball bearing with preloaded to her biscuit, equipped with a locking mechanism, which includes placed vertically located in the axial cavity of ball bearings piston and the tabs in the holes, the axes of which are placed in the same plane, and the plane of their location coincides with the diametrical plane of the ball bearing and the piston in the upper part is made in the form of a conical surface, while the latches are biased relative to the ball joint and interoperability one of their ends with mutually perpendicular slots located on the inner surface of the housing castle and on the surface of the biscuit, the device is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder and lever actuator rod of the hydraulic cylinder, the piston-plunger, having in the upper part of the cross-section less the first diameter to influence it to the piston, and podpisnoe space of the piston-pusher is connected to the main braking system of the tractor, and is also provided with a bracket ball joint, allowing it to move in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the tractor with the impact of the lower part of the ball joint on the lever rod and hydraulic cylinder to move the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder and the impact of the generated fluid pressure in the specified cylinder is specified on the piston to move it.

Distinctive features of the prototype is that the device is provided with a hydraulic cylinder and lever actuator rod of the hydraulic cylinder, the piston-plunger, having in the upper part of the section of smaller diameter to influence it to the piston, and podpisnoe space of the piston-pusher is connected to the main braking system of the tractor, and is also provided with a bracket ball joint, allowing it to move in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the tractor with the impact of the lower part of the ball joint on the lever rod and hydraulic cylinder to move the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder and the impact of the generated fluid pressure in the specified cylinder is specified on the piston to move it.

The device contains accommodated in the housing of a ball bearing 1 with preloaded to her rusk 2 (figure 2), a locking mechanism, which includes placed vertically located in the axial cavity of the ball joint 1, the piston 3, the spring 4 is installed between the piston 3 and the plug 5, the latches 6, located in the holes, the axes of which are placed in the same plane, and the plane of their location coincides with the diametrical plane of the ball joint 1, the piston 3 in the upper part has a tapered surface contacting section of smaller diameter with internal lugs 7 (3) clamps 6, the latches 6 spring-loaded relative to the ball support 1 by the springs 8 and made interoperable outer ends 9 (3) mutually perpendicular grooves 10 (figure 2), located on the inner surface of the lock body 11 and on the surface of the biscuit 2, the bracket 12 ball bearing 1, allowing it to move in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the tractor, the hydraulic cylinder 13, the arm 14 of the actuator rod of the hydraulic cylinder 13, the piston-plunger 15 having in the upper part of the section of smaller diameter, and podpisnoe space of the piston-pusher is connected in the lower part of the support route 16 to route the brake system of the tractor.

The device operates as follows.

When moving the rig is without braking and in the absence of a collision of the trailer on the tractor piston 3 and the piston-plunger 15 under the action of the spring 4 are in the lower position, while the latches 6 under the action of the spring 8 are shifted into the body of the ball joint 1, and the inner lugs 7 are in contact with the surface of the piston 3 of smaller diameter. Due to this, the lock body 11 can freely rotate relative to the support 1, thereby maneuver the trailer.

When the braking fluid pressure is transmitted through line in the lower part of the axial cavity of the ball bearing 1 and acts on the piston-plunger 15, which, in turn, the upper part acts on the piston 3 and, overcoming the force of spring 4, moves it up.
