FIELD: agriculture, in particular method for increasing of beet yield and sugar content.

SUBSTANCE: seeds are treated by spraying in leaf clamping step with titanium tetrachloride diluted in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO). Concentration of DMSO is 0.1-2 %; titanium tetrachloride consumption is up to 50 g per 1 hectare of seeds. Ratio of titanium tetrachloride:dimethylsulfoxide is 100-200 l per 1 hectare. Treatment is carried out twice in vegetation period, namely the first treatment is carried out in leaf clamping step and the second one in 15-20 days before harvesting of root crops.

However, this increase in yield and sugar content of sugar beet can be only when we have a deficiency of boron in the soil. In practice, boron deficiency is rare, especially in the beet-growing regions.

Prikhodko, and others).

However, dimethyl sulfoxide [(CH3)2SO] a solvent when mixed with water, emits large amounts of heat easily penetrates through the skin, through the biological membrane - he is a holder of chemicals.

Dimethyl sulfoxide has an ordered structure, which is destroyed at +40÷+60°C.

Once in the leaves of plants, dimethylsulfoxide may violate the cytoplasm and vacuole-type membrane (Ungekurzten, Dimethylsulfoxide - critical aprotic solvent", Soros educational journal, No. 9, 1997, p.54).

Thus, known methods treatments the key sugar beet unsuitable for widespread use and does not significantly increase the sugar content of the beets.

Technical solution to the problem is to increase the sugar content of the beets.

The problem is solved due to the fact that the inventive method of processing beet, including double spraying plants dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), treatment is carried out titanium salt in concentrations up to 50 g/ha under current substance dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide concentration of 0.1%÷2% when the ratio of titanium : dimethyl sulfoxide as 1:100 at a flow rate of the working solution of 100-200 liters per 1 ha, in the phase of closing of the leaves of sugar beet and 15-20 days before harvest of roots.
