Known wave power plant (A.S. USSR №1474319, CL F 03 13/12, 1989)containing the shaft kinematically connected to a generator, and a float provided with a ratchet wrench, and slide it onto the shaft for rotation and reciprocating movement relative to the shaft, which section in the zone of movement of the float is made in the form of a plate screws.

The disadvantage of this solution is the lack of power on the shaft of the generator.

The invention solves the problem of increasing the efficiency and capacity of the installation by providing opportunities to increase capacity of the generator.

To solve this problem in wave energy installation comprising a support fixedly mounted in the support shaft kinematically connected with the generator, the float is mounted for movement along the vertical guides and is provided with placed inside rotatably and shared with him moving inertial element in contact by means of the rollers with the inner surface of the float, with a cylindrical housing fixed to the inertial element, the generator is placed on a support frame, and its kinematic connection is made in the form of sliding connection of the inertial element with a drum, have been fitted the m with the possibility of joint rotation, and gear.

Comparative analysis with the prototype shows that the proposed design of the wave power plant is characterized by the fact that the inertial element, provided rapovymi mechanisms, is mounted for rotation within the casing of the float reciprocating movement relative to the shaft, and receives from the latter the pulses of the rotational motion, the generator is placed on a support frame.

The proposed wave energy installation can increase the power of the generator, since the inertial element placed inside the float, isolated from water and has less resistance to its rotation.
