The invention relates to railway transport, namely to the brake pads for rail vehicles.

Known friction product that can be used for brake pads railway rolling stock according to the patent of Russian Federation №2104197 (61 N 7/02, 1998). Friction product contains ferromagnetic particles made of a soft magnetic material.

The application of the friction products for the manufacture of rail pads is common to known and declare pads.

Known friction product that can be used in brake pads railway rolling stock according to the patent of Russian Federation №2104196 (61 N 7/02, 1998). The product contains a polymer composite material with ferromagnetic particles, made of hard magnetic magnetic material.

The application of the friction products for the manufacture of rail pads, as well as the presence of polymer composite are common to known and declare pads.

The use of magnetic materials in known friction products leads to a decrease in their strength characteristics.

Closest to the claimed block is brake pad railway rolling stock according to patent No. 2132982 (F 16 D 69/02, 1999). aladka includes polymer composite friction element with steel particles (fibers), which is made of low carbon steel.

A significant characteristic is the closest analogue of the friction element is shared with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The presence of steel fibers in the friction element leads to a significant deterioration of the surface of the wheel during operation.

The task, which is aimed by the invention, is to increase the strength of the pads due to the increased strength of the friction element by selecting the optimal ratio of fibrous fillers and powdered fillers.

The task decides predominantly non-asbestos brake pad railway vehicle containing friction element and a metal frame. The friction element is made by thermoforming from a composition containing polybutadiene rubber, vulcanizing group, powdered fillers and fibrous fillers. The ratio of fibrous fillers to powdery fillers is 1:1-1:20.

Bridges contain fixing cavities for frame fittings, and composite friction element is arranged inside insert. SUBSTANCE: proposed brake shoe has metal skeleton-back with hole for cotter in central projection of shoe. Skeleton-back is made in plan in form of rectangle with side walls over entire length of shoe and with at least two bridges. Said bridges connect side walls being arranged symmetrically at both sides relative to central projection of shoe. Bridges are provided with fixing grooves for composite friction member arranged inside skeleton-back.

Shoe is furnished with two flat heat insulating elements arranged at both sides of insert between insert and friction and overlapping zone of their contact inside shoe along width and height of shoe. According to second version, shoe is furnished additionally with open slots at both sides from insert between insert and friction member, and overlapping zone of their contact inside shoe along width and height of shoe.

EFFECT: increased reliability of shoe by changing its design to increase heat resistance by preventing thermal cracks in body of friction member and its burning in place of contact with cast iron insert in manufacture and in service.

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transportation, particularly to train brake blocks. The brake block contains a metal carcass representing a basic band with a П-shape ledge in its central part, two side bosses and a friction ceramic metal element. The said metal carcass is furnished with a reinforcing plate, a copper-plated steel strip equal in length and width to the said friction ceramic metal element rear side and sintered to it at pressure in the furnace. The metal carcass basic band with the said П-shape ledge in its central part is welded from outside to the said reinforcing plate on the block rear in the holes specially made to this end in the metal carcass basic band and on both end faces of the brake block.

EFFECT: higher strength and reliability of ceramic metal brake block, easier manufacturability.
