The invention relates to the field of applying metallic coatings and can be used during the chemical deposition of composite copper coating steel parts that can be used in electrical, chemical industry and mechanical engineering.

Known compositions for chemical vapor deposition of composite copper coatings containing various additives (Fesenkov S.A. Chemical and elettrotermochimica ways deposition of metal coatings. M: "engineering", 1975). For example, the solution has the following composition, g/l: copper sulfate - 7, potassium sodium tartrate - 22, sodium sulfate - 15, sodium hydroxide and 4.5, formalin - 26, hydrate sodium carbonate, 2 - chloride hydrate Nickel - 2. Additives are introduced into the solution for chemical copper plating and deposited together with copper, forming the chemical composition of the coating. The coatings obtained from the above solution, low wear resistance.

The closest (prototype) the composition is a solution containing, g/l: copper sulfate - 4, potassium sodium tartrate - 20, sodium sulfate - 15, sodium hydroxide - 10, formalin - 20 /A.S. No. 1770344, From 09 To 13/02. The composition for etching of the surface of the rubber, p.3. Publ. 23.10.92. Bull. No. 39/.

However, the coatings obtained from the above solution, low wear resistance, high coefficient of friction, and because of the low thickness of the s (2-4 microns) can not be used as protective coatings.

The authors faced the problem of obtaining a protective coating on metal, having high wear resistance and corrosion resistance in the marine environment, by increasing the thickness of the coating, as well as reducing the coefficient of friction.

The problem is solved in that in the solution containing copper sulfate, potassium sodium tartrate, sodium sulfate, sodium hydroskin, formalin, added Aerosil and 20%aqueous solution of polyacrylamide, and components are taken in the following ratio (g/l):

Copper sulfate4-5
Potassium sodium tartrate20-22
Sodium sulfate15-16
Sodium hydroxide10-12
Formalin20-24
Aerosilof 0.2-0.3
20%aqueous solution of polyacrylamide0.5 to 3

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the introduction into the solution for chemical vapor deposition of composite coatings 20%aqueous solution of polyacrylamide increases stability and provides a uniform distribution in the solution. The introduction of a 20%aqueous solution of polyacrylamide and Aerosil increases the reaction rate chemical vapor deposition of a composite coating is, that allows to obtain a coating thickness of 10-12 μm.

The concentration of the additives are selected in such a way as to achieve maximum effect, i.e. the increase in the number included in the coating particles and the uniformity of their distribution in the coating.

Sample solution preparation for chemical vapor deposition of composite coatings.

The solution was prepared so that in the absence of details in the bath there was no education of copper in solution. When preparing the solution, all components except formaldehyde, dissolved in distilled water separately (composition g/l: copper sulfate - 4, potassium sodium tartrate - 20, sodium sulfate - 15, sodium hydroxide - 10), and after filtering blend together. Separately, prepare a mixture of 20%aqueous solution of polyacrylamide and Aerosil, which is injected into the solution for chemical vapor deposition of composite coatings. Formalin is injected into the solution before copper plating. The working temperature of the solution 20-25°C. Duration of 30-40 minutes.

Aerosil (SiO2) is a white powder with a melting point 1728°C. as an aqueous solution of polymer used 20%solution of polyacrylamide prepared in the laboratory that performs the role of a stabilizer solution of the chemical copper plating. Its formula is [-CH2-H(CONH 2)-]n. The softening temperature of 165°C.

Were developed six mortar compositions for chemical copper plating. Mortar compositions are shown in table 1.

The obtained mortar compositions were used for the chemical deposition of copper coatings on metal products ST-40. In the course of the research determined the thickness of the coatings, and checking them for wear resistance and corrosion resistance in sea water.

The test results are shown in table 2.

As can be seen from that the support 2, introduction to the composition of the solution of Aerosil and 20%aqueous solution of polyacrylamide possible to increase the coating thickness is 2-3 times and reduce the coefficient of friction.

Based on the above, we believe that our proposed solution for the chemical copper plating metal products meets the requirement of inventive step and can be used in industry.

Conducted patent information search allows us to judge the novelty of the invention and the proposed solution can be protected by a patent of the Russian Federation.
