SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to production of the glue composition of labeling, in particular, to the glue composition designated for sticking of the glue impregnated-paper labels to the glass, plastic, metallic, ceramic and wood surfaces. The invention allows to produce the glue compositions, which are distinguished by the increased frost-resistance: withstanding the multiple freezing and defreezing. The composition is produced by combination of two compounds preliminary heat-treated at the temperature of 80-90°C and their subsequent heat treatment together with the modifying agent - Amylum at 90-95°C, and bring up to pH=7.0-7.5 IN by KOH or NaOH solution. At that the composition 1 contains: dextrin, gum-arabic pretreated at 130°C and under the residual pressure of 05 mmHg, water; the composition 2 contains: colophony, glycerin, borax, water. At that the first composition was thermotreated in presence of several drips of antifoaming liquid. The labels gain positive stability against a shearing within 10 seconds and after 5 minutes can be torn-off only with a break of the paper.

EFFECT: the invention ensures, that the labels gain positive stability against a shearing within 10 seconds and after 5 minutes can be torn-off only with a break of the paper.

The invention relates to compositions of water-soluble adhesive compositions based on polysaccharides that do not contain components of animal origin, in particular, compositions of adhesives designed for bonding labels, back labels, collar labels and excise stamps for glass, ceramic and metal surfaces.

Known adhesive composition comprising epoxydecane derivatives of dextrin (Patent Poland No. 269083, 1987)

The disadvantage of this glue is the presence of traces of epichlorohydrin, which makes it impossible for long-term use of glue, as the concentration of epichlorohydrin in the room may exceed the maximum permissible concentration). The closest properties of the adhesive of the present invention is an adhesive composition comprising preferably casein glue, rosin, polyhydric alcohols (Patent Germany DE416074 A1, 1993)

In the adhesives containing components of animal origin, it is possible to widely vary the ratio of the various components. However, the application as a main component of these glues casein increases the cost of the adhesive, and also disrupts the stability of the adhesive in the process of long-term storage. In addition, the breakdown products of casein and other components alive the spas origin are different amines and their derivatives, with toxicity and unpleasant odor.

In the present invention solved the problem of obtaining adhesive compositions, completely free from animal ingredients and is based on components of vegetable nature, namely: part 1 consists of gum Arabic, dextrin and water part 2 consists of rosin, glycerol, sodium tetraborate and water in a wide range of ratios. Composition 1 and 2 is subjected to a preliminary heat treatment at a temperature of 80-90°C. In the subsequent joint is heat treatment of compounds 1 and 2 at a temperature of 90-95°and a mixing time of 1 to 3 hours (depending on composition) in the presence of the modifying additive starch.

Mandatory components of the adhesive plant-based is gum Arabic, dextrin, rosin, borax, glycerin, water.

A distinctive feature of the adhesive is used as a viscosity regulator in part 1 gum Arabic, prepared by a special heat treatment in vacuum, which increases the characteristic viscosity of gum Arabic, measured in aqueous solution at 20°, 2 times.

Also a distinctive feature is the formation of a high adhesive ability to the different surfaces after joint treatment compounds 1 and 2 at a temperature of 90-95°C. The following are specific examples of carrying out the invention (see table).

Example 1. In a 500 ml glass flask, equipped with a mechanical stirrer, and a temperature-controlled water bath to prepare composition 1 from the total calculation 250 g all components, including 125 g of white dextrin (A) (50 wt.%), 5 g of gum Arabic (B) (2 wt%), 120 g of water (B) (distilled, 48 wt.%). Processing at a temperature of 80-90°With lead for 1 hour until complete homogenization in the presence of 10-15 drops, for example, vegetable oils as antifoam anti-foam liquid (encyclopedia of polymers, volume 2, page 42, M., 1972). Examples 2-6. The sequence of process same as in example No. 1. the ratio of the components of the compositions 1 and 2 are given in the table. All adhesive compositions have a pH of 7÷7,5. To do this, use 1N solutions of KOH or NaOH. Adhesives have a transparent appearance and leave no residue when applied to the container. Examples 7-8. The adhesive composition is prepared analogously to example 1, but the pre-processing of the 1st composition is carried out at 90°and a preliminary heat treatment of the 2nd composition is carried out at 80°C.
