Composition for plating forming rolls
FIELD: electrochemical processes.
SUBSTANCE: object of invention is plating forming rolls designed for rolling electrode bands. Composition contains varnish KCh-0125, ammonia, 50% fluoroplastic suspension F-4D, filling compound composed of silica, ethanol, and anionic surfactant-containing technical product at their ratio 10:(0.5-15):1.0, and water.
EFFECT: enabled plating of coating showing high wear resistance and low adhesion for rolled materials.
The invention relates to the chemical industry, in particular to the coating method of electrodeposition on mill rolls for rolling an electrode tape.
Known Composition for coating by electro-deposition on mill rolls" (A.S. No. 1578165, 09 D 5/44, 15.07.90. B. I. No. 26), consisting of lacquer HT-0125, ammonia, water mixture (tropeolin OOO, silicon dioxide) and water.
However, the coatings obtained from the compositions have enhanced adhesion to the active mass of the positive electrode of chemical current sources on the basis of solid depolarizers and soot, as well as low wear resistance, which reduces the surface quality of rolled tape, marriage bands and reduced service life of the rolls, in addition, this composition is insufficient stable over time (8-10 months).
The authors faced the problem of improving the surface quality of rolled strips, increase service life of the rolls by reducing the adhesion of the tape to the surface of the rolls, as well as increased stability of the composition over time (14-16 months).
The problem is solved in that the composition containing the Lac HT-0125, ammonia, water and a mixture of water, added 50%PTFE suspension f-4D, and as a filler taken a mixture of silicon dioxide and estanol in the ratio of 10:0.5 to 15:1,0 components and integration of the s in the following ratio; wt.%

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the introduction of the 50%PTFE suspension f-4D and mixtures of silicon dioxide with atenolol in the composition for electrodeposition increases the stability of the composition over time (up to 14-16 months), and the coating has a lower adhesion to the surface of the rolled materials.
Used in the composition of the lacquer HT-0125 made at the Yaroslavl paint factory and consists of a partial ester multiserving of polybutadiene, phenolic resin, BHT, triethylamine, isopropyl alcohol, diacetone alcohol.
Ammonia is used as the neutralizer. Used an aqueous solution of ammonia.
Ethanol is inhibitron corrosion and is a technical product containing anionic surfactants - Tris-(2-octaethyl) ammoniacal-bansilalpet, Cn+H2n+1C6H4SO3NH(CH2CH2OH)3where n=8-10. Liquid, soluble in water (Chemical encyclopedia. Moscow, "Soviet encyclopedia" 1983. - 714 S.).
As readhesion additives used a 50%suspension of PTFE f-4D.
The preparation of the composition is the following. Mix the varnish HT-0125 ammonia, mixing produce for 5-10 minutes at room temperature. The resulting composition is tested for solubility in water and measure the pH. At pH 7,1-7,5 composition is diluted with water. At the same time at a temperature of 18-25°preparing a mixture of silicon dioxide with atenolol in the ratio of 10:0.5 to 10:1,0, enter PTFE suspension is thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous mass and injected into an aqueous solution of varnish HT-0125 and ammonia. The resulting composition is stirred for 3 hours with a mechanical stirrer. The quality of the finished composition control of pH, conductivity (see table).
The coating was obtained by applying the composition to the surface of the rolls by the electroplating method at a temperature of 18-25°C, the voltage of 60 V for 2 minutes.
Samples obtained coating was washed in running distilled water and subjected to heat treatment at 350-370°C for 40 minutes.
The adhesion of the coating to the surface of the rolls is determined by the regional contact angle, measured in degrees. The friction coefficient is determined on the car friction velocity relative sliding 0.048 m/s, the unit load of 5 MPa.
The test results of the coating depending on the composition listed in the table. Ka is seen from the test results of the coating, obtained by the electroplating method proposed composition, possess high wear resistance, low friction coefficient and low adhesion to laminate materials. All these properties of the coatings increase the service life of the rolls and improve the surface quality of rolled tape (decrease roughness, lack of tear-out recyclable material from the surface of the tape).

FIELD: protective coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering processes, in particular to solve problem of protecting metallic equipment against operation deposits of solid and viscous products. Coating is constituted by adhesive primer deposited on metallic surface of process equipment and 3-4-layered coating made from powdered polytetrafluoroethylene or polytrifluorochloroethylene dried to moisture content not higher than 3% and stabilized in acetylene medium by moistening polymer powder with Diaphene HH stabilizer in acetone solution at 40°C, followed by drying polymer/stabilizer mixture at ambient temperature, finally drying at 80-100°C for 5 h, calcination at 210°C for 1 h, and ageing at 220-230°C for 5-6 h. Formation of polymer comprises applying polymer onto metallic surface of process equipment preliminarily thoroughly cleaned via shot blasting treatment, flattened, degreased, heated, and hardened. Inhibiting coating is made from powdered polytetrafluoroethylene or polytrifluorochloroethylene stabilized by afore-indicated way, dried to moisture content not higher than 3% and applied in 3-4 layers onto adhesive primer in electrostatic field and finally held for 5-6 h at 220-230°C.
EFFECT: prolonged lifetime of coating and prevented working surfaces of process equipment from formation of deposits.

FIELD: chemistry of polymers, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for concentrating fluoropolymer an aqueous dispersion by thermal settling. Method involves mixing the parent dispersion with nonionogenic surface-active substance as a stabilizing agent taken among order of oxyethylated alkylphenols, heating a mixture, its keeping without stirring and, if necessary, the following cooling by natural manner. Then the concentrated phase of upper layer is separated and, if necessary, the additional stabilizing agent is added to the concentrated phase and, if necessary, the concentrated phase is diluted up to the content of fluoropolymer 50-55 wt.-%. As a fluoropolymer, method involves using the following substances: polytetrafluoroethylene, polytetrafluoroethylene modified with hexafluoropropylene, perfluoropropylvinyl ester or 2- perfluoropropoxypropylvinyl ester; polyvinylidene fluoride, polyvinylidene fluoride modified with tetrafluoroethylene; copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene with perfluoropropylvinyl ester or with perfluoroethylvinyl ester, copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene with ethylene. As nonionogenic surface-active substance, method involves using neonol AF-9-n representing a mixture of polyethylene glycol esters of monoalkylphenols of the formula: R-C6H4O-(CH2CH2O)nH wherein R means alkyl radical C9H19-isononyl joined to phenol at para-position with respect to hydroxyl group; n means an average number of moles of ethylene oxide joined to one mole of alkylphenols = 9-10. Indicated neonol is added in the amount 7-10% of water mass in the parent dispersion. Mixtures is heated to temperature 40-65°C and kept without stirring up to the complete separation of phases. Mixture is cooled up to temperature 40°C, not above, and separated of the concentrated phase from upper layer is carried out at indicated temperature. Invention allows reducing time for separation of phases.

FIELD: polymer compositions on base of concentrated aqueous dispersions of fluorine-containing copolymers, namely tetrafluoro-ethylene with hexafluoroprolilene or with perfluoropropylene vinyl ether for obtaining various coats and polyimide fluoroplastic films used for high heat-resistant insulation of wires.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composition is made in form of concentrated aqueous dispersion at the following ratio of components, mass-%: tetrafluoro-ethylene copolymer with hexafluoroprolilene or with perfluoropropyl vinyl ether, 50-55; fluoroemulsifier, 0.1-0.5; stabilizing non-ionogenous surfactant, 4-8, preferably 5-7 (relative to fluoro-copolymer) which is just mixture of polyethylene glycol ethers of monoalkyl phenols on base of trimers of propylene of the following formula: R-C6H4O-(CH2CH2O)nH where R is alkyl radical isonnonyl-C9H19 added to phenol in para-position relative to hydroxyl group and n is averaged number of moles of ethylene oxide added to one mole of alkyl phenols equal to 9-12 and water. Composition for enhancing the stabilization at storage may additionally contain aqueous ammonia solution in the amount sufficient for obtaining pH equal to 5.0-10.5.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions based on polytetrafluoroethylene aqueous dispersions designated for preparing coatings for different aims. The coating composition represents the concentrated polytetrafluoroethylene aqueous suspension comprising the following components, wt.-%: polytetrafluoroethylene, 45-65; fluoroemulsifying agent, 0.1-0.2; nonionogenic surface-active substance Neonol AF 9-n or AFB 9-n, 5-15 (preferably, 8-12) representing a mixture of monoalkylphenol polyethylene glycol esters based on propylene trimers of the formula: R-C6H4O-(CH2CH2O)nH wherein R is alkyl radical isononyl -C9H19 joined to phenol at para-position with respect to hydroxyl group; n is an averaged number of ethylene oxide moles joined to one mole of alkylphenols, 9-12, and water. The composition can comprise additionally ammonium aqueous solution providing pH value 5.0-15.0, glycerol or ethylene glycol in the amount 2-6 wt.-%. The composition is designated for preparing coatings able to endure heating to 370C and for development of different composition materials, among them composition for anti-adhesion and anti-overheating coatings, Invention provides improvement of exploitation and physical-mechanical properties of coating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for concentrating an aqueous dispersion of copolymer tetrafluoroethylene with hexafluoropropylene. Method involves thermal settling, mixing the parent dispersion with non-ionogenic surface-active substance as a stabilizing agent, heating the mixture if necessary, its keeping without stirring and the following cooling by natural way if necessary, separation of the concentrated phase from upper layer, diluting the concentrated phase up to the content of copolymer 50-55 wt.-% if necessary. Method involves using neonol AF-9-n as a non-ionogenic surface-active substance representing a mixture of polyethylene glycol esters of monoalkylphenols of the formula: R-C6H4O-(CH2CH2O)nH wherein R means isononyl as radical -C9H19 joined to phenol at para-position with respect to hydroxyl group; n means average number of ethylene oxide moles joined to one mole of alkylphenols = 9-10. Indicated neonol is added in the amount 7-10% of water mass in the parent dispersion. Mixture is heated to temperature 55°C, not above, kept its without stirring up to complete separation of phases. Cooling is carried out up to temperature 20-40°C and separation of the concentrated phase from upper layer is carried out at indicated temperature. Invention provides reducing time required for separation of phases.

SUBSTANCE: proposed coat is made on base of powder composition containing the following components, parts by mass: fluoro-containing copolymer in form of fluoroplastic 4MБ, 100.0; boron nitride, 0.3-0.5; titanium dioxide, 0.5-1.0; chromium oxide, 1.0-1.5 and diphenyl silandiol, 0.05-0.5. Dispersity of powder composition ranges from 20 to 80 mcm. Prior to application, composition is subjected to heat treatment at temperature of 100°C continued for an hour and followed by fusion of surface at temperature of 380-390°C continued for 2 h, after which composition thus treated is cooled to room temperature at rate not exceeding 40°C/h.
EFFECT: enhanced stability of separating effect between article and foodstuff without application of edible oils.
FIELD: polymer materials and protective coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to primer materials, including water-dispersed paints, and is used to form protective-decorative coating of porous surfaces, e.g. various-destination indoor and outdoor brick, concrete, plaster, and similar surfaces. Method comprises preparation of components A and B. The former is water-based suspension of zinc oxide or titanium oxide, talc, powdered cellulose and Sulfosid-61 at ratio 2:1.1:0.04:0.04:0.08, respectively, which is prepared in disperser for 15 min at 18-25°C. The latter component (B) is water-based emulsion containing plasticizer (dibutyl phthalate or Edos), sodium carboxymethylcellulose, liquid sodium glass, and Sulfosid-61 at ratio 6:1.4:1:0.6, which is prepared in planetary mill for 15 min and 18-25°C. Components A and B are then mixed, whereupon latex (SKS-65GP) is added for 20 min at 18-25°C to form composition containing, wt parts: latex 100, component A 85-95, component B 7-8, and water 102-115. Advantages of invention comprise simplification of water-dispersed paint production process, reduced process time due to independent and simultaneous preparation of the two composition components, which are mixed with latex without foaming and stratification.
EFFECT: increased homogeneity of composition and improved spreading capacity, water and frost resistance of coating.
