The invention relates to a cable technique, namely, insulating compositions based on plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with reduced Flammability and smoke during combustion, designed for isolation of inner and outer shells of wires and cables that require increased fire safety.

Wires and cables are often the cause of the fire and flame spread. In this regard, to their polymeric components of the insulation, the inner and outer shells are traditionally high demands on Flammability.

However, in the last decades of the requirements for the characteristics of the fire and, especially, on Flammability and reducing smoke constantly rising.

Currently for insulation and sheath of cable products General purpose apply PVC compounds, possessing a certain degree of incombustibility, providing flame retardance of free-standing wires and cables.

To the subject of the present invention is closest to the technical essence and the achieved effect to the present invention is electrically insulating cable PVC composition, trademarks, And 40-13A, manufactured according to GOST 5960-70.

This composition comprises, in parts by weight: 100 suspension PVC, 45-48 ester plasticizer, 5-6 pig is a new stabilizer, 0,7-1,0 calcium stearate, 0.1-0.3 diphenylolpropane.
