SUBSTANCE: polyvinyl alcohol and magnesium or calcium chlorides polyhydrated complexes are obtained by dissolution of polyvinyl alcohol and magnesium or calcium chlorides in water on boiling water bath. Said components are taken in the next ratio (mass%): polyvinyl alcohol 11.5-11.6; magnesium or calcium chloride 23.2-24.0; and balance: distilled water.

EFFECT: new complex compounds having antiinflammation, resolution and analgesic action.

The invention relates to a method for producing new drugs for medical purposes, namely polyhydrated complexes of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and halides of magnesium or calcium.

These substances belong to physiologically active compounds with anti-inflammatory, analgesic effect.

Known medicinal preparation based on mineral bischofite (MgCl2·6N2O), bromine, iodine, trace minerals, which are effective for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, peripheral and Central nervous systems, as well as stretching the ligaments and muscles (NPP Volgograd bischofite", Volgograd).

Also known bischofite-gel (TU 9158-002-45053421-01, analogue of Berolina), providing anti-inflammatory, resolving and analgesic (pain-relief) action. Gives a long lasting therapeutic effect. Effective for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, sprains and muscle injuries. Used in massage (rubbing) 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 10-14 days. A break between courses of 3-4 weeks. Contraindications: individual intolerance, diseases of the skin in the area of impact gel.

It is also known that PVA in aqueous solutions forms complexes with salts of various metals: Cu+2, Ni+2With+2(Nikolaev AF., Okhrimenko GI water-Soluble polymers. L.: Chemistry, 1979, c.39). The physiological activity of the complexes is not given.

There are a large number of medicinal ointments, liniments and balms that are used to treat furunculosis, mastitis, inflammatory diseases of the joints and muscles, injuries of soft tissues and joints, burns, frostbite, neuralgia, neuritis, radiculitis, etc.

Thus, methyl salicylate (methyl ester of salicylic acid)

used as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agents.

There are, in addition, formulations containing methyl salicylate: liniment (balm) "Sanitas"ointment BOM-Benga, liniment "Naftalan", Cancin, liniment methyl salicylate complex, aliment.

They are used externally for the articular and muscular rheumatism, arthritis, exudative pleurisy (Medmaravis. Medicines C M, Medicine, 1978, c.180).

It is known the use of birch tar in the form 10...30% ointments, liniments to improve blood circulation, stimulate regeneration of epithelial tissue, enhance the healing process (Medmaravis. Medicines, p.ii. M, Medicine, 1978, s).

Liniment A.V. Vishnevsky used in the treatment of wounds, ulcers, bedsores (ibid.).

The Ichthyol has anti-inflammatory,mestnorazdrajayuschie and antiseptic. Apply externally with dermatitis, burns, neuralgia, arthritis and other diseases (ibid.).

Liniment naphthalene oil when exposed to the skin has a softening, dissolving, disinfectant and some analgesic effect. Applied externally for various skin diseases, inflammatory diseases of the joints and muscles, neuralgia, neuritis, radiculitis, burns, ulcers (ibid.).

Vinylinum (balm of shestakovskaja) polyvinylbutyral ether

Used for boils, trophic ulcers, purulent wounds, mastitis, soft tissue injuries, burns, frostbite.

Promotes regeneration and epithelialization tissue (Medmaravis. Medicines, p.ii. M, Medicine, 1978, s - prototype).

If you have a large number of drugs with similar effect, the main disadvantage is that the components that are part of them, have, as a rule, natural origin and do not have a specific chemical formula.

This complicates the study of the primary foundations of the mechanism of their therapeutic action.

The aim of the invention was the development that accounts for the ways to obtain polyhydrated complexes of polyvinyl alcohol and chlorides of magnesium or calcium, exhibiting anti-inflammatory, resolving and analgesic effect.

The objective is achieved by dissolution in water of polyvinyl alcohol and magnesium chloride or calcium when heated in a boiling water bath.

Example 1. Magnesium complex.

The flask 125 g PVA (GOST 10779-78), 250 g of magnesium chloride uranyl (GOST 4209-77), 700 ml of distilled water and heated with stirring on a boiling water bath to dissolve the PVA. Receive 1075 g of a viscous transparent liquid.

Example 2. Calcium complex.

The flask 125 g of PVA, 260 g of calcium chloride uranyl (TU 6-09-4578-78), 700 ml of distilled water and heated with stirring on a boiling water bath to dissolve the PVA. Receive 1085 g of a viscous transparent liquid.

The resulting complexes are soluble in water, the pH of the solution 6...7. The physiological activity of the claimed compounds was studied in experiments on volunteers. Depending on the nature of the injury substance was applied either directly on the affected area with a thick layer (thermal burns, sunburn, insect bites, minor contusions, bruises etc), either in the form of gauze bandages, wipes, tampons (inflammatory diseases of joints and muscles, significant muscle tissue traumas, neuralgia, jade, radiculitis, surgical seam is, pulpitis, periodontitis).

Treatment of injuries in the following examples were carried out repeatedly over the last four years. Especially often it was burns, radiculitis, dislocations, contusions, bruises. For treatment were used as calcium and magnesium complexes of approximately equal numbers of cases. Differences in efficacy were observed. The pain subsided almost immediately. In the subsequent exclusion of the affected skin were observed. A single application.

Example 7. Chronic dislocation of levov the ankle joint. Complaints: pain when walking, restriction of motor function of the left ankle joint.
